En la feria nipona lo veremos en movimiento ya que tendrá una demo jugable, pera todos los “suertudos” que puedan asistir al evento.

Ha falta de conocer mas detalles, las imágenes muestran el gran trabajo grafico, sobretodo en los rostros de los personajes del juego, incluyendo, por supuesto a Kazuma Kiryu.

Por ultimo recordar que este juego es el verdadero Yakuza 3 y que Yakuza: Kenzan! (que la prensa occidental lo titulo Yakuza 3) es un spin-off de la saga que todavía no tiene fecha de salida fuera de Japón.

SEGA ha vuelto ha enseñar uno de sus máximos representantes de su futuro catalogo con nuevas imágenes.

Aunque no todas ellas son nuevas, si están en una resolución mayor, y de mejor calidad para que podamos admirarlas mejor.

Recordar que Yakuza 3 estará de forma jugable durante el Tokyo Game Show.

La agraciada de este año es la portátil de Nintendo que contara con nueve títulos de SEGA y donde destaca el anuncio de forma jugable del recién anunciado Phantasy Star Zero.

También ha sido anunciado que el esperadísimo Yakuza 3 estará jugable.

Majima Goro, former head of the Majima family affiliate of the Tojo Clan. I get confused by all the levels of heirarchy within the game, so I don't really know which family goes where lol.

Haruka. She's got kind of a big nose... I liked her look more in Yakuza 1 and 2....much cuter... lol

I haven't finished Yakuza 2 myself, but Famitsu's already got a summary of what's to happen in the game:

Yakuza 3 takes place two years after the events of Yakuza 2. Kiryu Kazuma (the main character) and Haruka (the girl that was involved with the events in Yakuza 1) have moved south to Okinawa, to live a more peaceful life away from the seedy underground of Kamurocho (an area in Tokyo where the bulk of the first and second games took place). They've opened up an orphanage there called "Asagao" ("Morning Glory". Kiryu himself was an orphan that grew up in an orphanage called "Himawari", or in english, "Sunflower", which was supported by a Yakuza man. Haruka as well grew up there). The sudden pending buyout of the land that they're on threatens to shut down the orphanage, and seems to be fueled by ulterior political motives. In addition, it seems that not only the Yakuza organization that Kiryu belonged to back in Kamurocho may be involved with this. The simultaneous shootings of two people, one in Okinawa and one in Kamurocho, raises Kiryu's eyebrows, and begins his quest to get to the bottom of what the crap's goin on. His first clue is word that an apparent eyewitness to both incidents (hmm...) looks like a man that was like a father to Kiryu, both at his time in the orphanage and in the yakuza, named Fuma Shintarou...

I kinda prefer the look of both Kiryu and Haruka from Yakuza 1 and 2, but Majima (the guy with the eyepatch) looks pretty nice. Kiryu kinda looks like his face is always scrunched up somehow...

No release date for Ryu ga Gotoku 3 at the moment, but it seems they will be showing the game off at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show. Definitely gettin this one.

Anybody who has been looking forward to the next Yakuza with Yakuza 3 for the PLAYSTATION 3 (The last Yakuzas was a spin off, Yazuza: Kenzan which went back to 1400's Japan) can now jump for joy, the first screens of the game have been released in the new issue of Famitsu.

God knows when we're gonna see this in the west, Yakuza 2 is out here next week for the PS2 and we're still waiting for a date in stone for Yakuza: Kenzan for the PS3 which will be most likely next year so dont ask for a date for Yakuza 3, your guess is as good as mine.

Para empezar los nuevos dobladores confirmados para la nueva entrega de Yakuza, en este caso se tratan del actor Tatsuya Fujiwara al que muchos conocemos como Shuya Nanahara protagonista de Battle Royale, ahora doblara por primera vez a un personaje de videojuego.

El segundo, menos conocido, George Takahashi cantante y actor aunque por la imagen con mas aspecto de yakuza que Tatsuya Fujiwara

SEGA ha firmado un acuerdo con la revista japonesa Koakuma Ageha, una revista especializada en moda GAL (un estilo de moda japonés) por lo cual las principales modelos de la revista participaran en el juego

Así tenemos a las chicas Sayaka Araki, Eri Touka, Rina Sakurai, Shizuka Mutou, Riho Nishiyama, Rina Aikawa, y Nemu, que serán las encargadas de prestar su imagen a las chicas de los clubs y las casas de citas del juego.

Mediante la revista Weekly Famitsu, SEGA ha anunciado el desarrollo de un nuevo título de la serie Yakuza, tan sólo 4 meses más tarde del lanzamiento de Ryu Ga Gotoku Kenzan! en territorio nipón. De este modo, la tercera entrega continuaría la historia donde la dejará Yakuza 2. Y digo dejará, porque la segunda parte aún no ha llegado a nuestras tierras, aunque por fortuna lo hará el próximo septiembre en la veterana PS2.

Según Toshihiro Nagoshi, productor de la serie Yakuza, la anterior entrega (Kenzan!) quedará como un spin-off, puesto que fué un experimento en el que quería ver cómo quedaría la saga al tener lugar en el Kyoto de 1605. Debido a las moderadas ventas que tuvo este juego en japón, Nagoshi afirma que se siente plenamente confiado para desarrollar una nueva entrega.

Aún no se sabe nada sobre cuando será lanzado este nuevo título en Japón,  pero de momento nos contentaríamos con saber si Yakuza Kenzan! será lanzado en territorio europeo. A ver si con un poco de suerte SEGA destapa nueva información del título en el próximo E3, dentro de 10  días.

The latest issue of Japan’s Famitsu magazine has revealed that Sega is in the process of developing a brand new entry in the Yakuza series for Sony’s PlayStation 3 console.

This latest instalment in the popular adventure series will be an actual sequel to Yakuza 2, confirming that the prequel, Ryu ga Gotoku Kenzan – which hit Japan earlier this year – is in fact more of a spin off than an actual continuation of the franchise.

According to producer Toshihiro Nagoshi, Yakuza 3 will take place approximately two years after its predecessor, and once again features series veteran, Kazuma Kiryu, along with a host of other returning faces from past titles.

In terms of locations, Nagoshi divulged that the game would be set in the area of Okinawa, though the setting of Kamiyacho (as depicted in Yakuza 2) will still play an important role in the game. As with previous instalments, Yakuza 3 will sport a famous voice cast and will also accommodate various real word brands for use with various in-game signs and shops.

Though a release date has yet to be announced, Nagoshi said that development of the title began as soon as work on Kenzan had wrapped, with Sega having already planned an extensive marketing push, including the launch of the game's official website in the near future.

I've personally never played one, but I'm interested if they're going to bring it to the PS3.

Em sua 3ª edição, o game volta 400 anos no passado e conta a história do Japão feudal, mais precisamente na Era Edo. Você é Kazumanosuke Kiryu, um guarda-costas que aceita emprego pela maior oferta que houver. Mas um dia recebe uma oferta de emprego para matar Musashi Miyamoto, nada menos que um nome que o protagonista já usou no passado. Agora resta ao personagem descobrir porque querem matá-lo.

Haverá uma cidade para explorar, como em GTA. Também várias missões paralelas, além de mini-games. Uma mudança na série é a possibilidade de trocar seu estilo de luta, já que o protagonista é um samurai.

Não há box-art e ainda não há data definida para o lançamento.

Finalmente uma notícia pra postar hoje... Saiu a lista semanal de vendas de jogos no japão, e com ela uma grata surpresa, Yakuza 3 Kenzan! aparece pela primeira vez, e diretamente na primeira posição. Joguei o primeiro no PS2 e curti muito (ainda não tive a oportunidade de testar o segundo), era muito legal a representação do japão no jogo... só imagino o que fizeram no 3 com o poder de processamento extra do PS3...
