So after all our hard work, we decided to treat ourselves to a fun time on Sunday.  We took Katie and her boyfriend, Cameron to Statesboro to see The Dark Knight.  It was worth waiting 20 minutes in line to get tickets.  I came prepared with my diet popcorn as I knew it was a 3 hour event.  It was one of the most awesome action movies I've ever seen.  We saw Hellboy II last Wednesday.  It's hard to say which was better and then to try and compare those two movies with Ironman.  It has been an action packed summer as far as movies go.  I think Hellboy had the best effects.  It was visually stunning.  Batman/The Dark Knight had the better plot of the three.  It had lots of twists and turns in the storyline.  Ironman had the best acting of all of them. 

I have always said that Robert Downey Jr. is one of the best actors of the past generation.  I have been saying this for years.  Even when he was strung out,  it never came across in the films.  He has always been believable in every role he's taken.  If I ever write something that is made into a movie, he has to be in it. 

 Of course Chistopher Walken and Willem DaFoe would also have to be in it as villans and Willem Dafoe would have to wear the same outfit he wore as Raven in the greatest movie of all time, Streets Of Fire. It has the most romantic passionate kissing scenes ever filmed. Diane Lane and Michael Pare' are great together on screen.

I'll compile the complete list for you another time. I have the cast all figured out I just haven't written the script and/or screenplay yet.  Mickey Rourke will have to be in it too.

Oh and I almost forgot to include this.

It is the best song ever written.  Of course it's from Streets OF Fire.  Dan Hartman performed it on record, but the band playing The Sorrels lip-synched it in the movie.  It is my favorite song of all time.  Enjoy !!

值得一提的是，影片透過倒敘穿插警方訊問人質的過程，一層層撥開歹徒的意圖並不在錢，而是背負在Judie Foster飾演的掮客身上。而歹徒的意圖在有意無意中分享給掮客後，掮客並未因此將委託人的請求棄之不顧，但也沒有閃躲歹徒的威嚇，而是把歹徒的話帶回去給委託人，要委託人親口說清楚。

訊問的過程也隱約刺痛警方辦案粗糙、尖酸的事實，有色人種對於美國警察的恐懼也在言詞之中微微透出，當然，英勇的NYPD只是開個玩笑(always making JOKES!)。

我一直覺得Willem Dafoe扮演壞人演的相當出色，也許是臉本身就帶有一種「邪氣」，就像我第一次看到Jack Nicholson不禁有種恐懼感一樣。但是這種令人不寒而慄的演員實在很少啊!(所以其實我還是蠻愛的)

A Cannes non si parlò d'altro che della scena di bacio tra un rottweiler e la provocatoria Asia Argento. Sia io che Ferrara abbiamo il terrore dei cani, ma a un certo punto il rottweiler è comparso sulla scena - spiegò l'attrice - ho cercato così di diventare sua amica. E poi, non so come, quand'è arrivato il momento della scena, l'ho baciato. Una scelta che Asia non rifarebbe adesso, visto che l'attenzione si è focalizzata solo su quello.

" Where are the possessed? I must fight the demons! "

So they lead me to some possessed people and they are very similar to the ones found in the movie " The Last Temptation of Christ " with Willem Dafoe. They're all full of mud. I hold their heads violently with my two hands and I throw them away and they get back up fully conscious and no more possessed.

At some point I am led in a place where they honor the dead. It's some sort of " department " with " lockers ". All of the lockers have glass windows and we can see objects and small things within the lockers and they are representing the dead people. In reality, I once saw something very similar to this in a movie titled "Baraka" ( I already talked about Ron Fricke who made "Chronos": he also made this movie ). I believe it was in Peru. The people who lived in very populated areas were forced to put their dead in "lockers", all over each other because they would otherwise lack room space. A young man comes to me and says:

" My father's last wishes were that you would bring him back to life. "

" So be it! Bring me to him! "

So they led me to a small locker and through the glass I could see two "figurines". Both of them were very small ( about as long as a thumb ) and I didn't know which one to revive. There was a pale grey one and a black-brown one. I chose the black-brown figurine. Both figurines seemed to represent the same character: A very old man, almost skeletal in appearance: holding a scythe.

I closed my eyes and concentrated my energy on the little figurine. I felt like this feat required a lot of energy and I felt weaker by the second. After some time, I opened my eyes and I saw a very bright, moving blue and white light in front of me, forming something. I almost lost my grip on the "spell" when I saw this, and I closed my eyes once again and concentrated once more. After a short time, the man came back to life, fully healed and ready to go.

While people were occupied with the resurrected man, a black man came to me and said " Good, now we got them in our little pockets. They're ours. Good job ". I immediately understood that everything was made up and everyone that I supposedly healed were actors or something. I was fake. I wasn't Jesus Christ. I was asked to go see a tribe at the border of the village. Suddenly I found myself in Africa and the tribe seemed to doubt my abilities.

" Are you one of them? " the chief asks.

" What are you talking about? "

" The aliens. They're all over the place. "

" Do they look like small humans with big heads? "

" No, they look like reptiles. They change their appearance to trick us. "

" Well I am not one of them. "

The chief was standing on a wooden throne. I walked towards him but I tripped and hurt my leg on a rock.

" If you are so magical you should be able to heal yourself. "

" I can't, I have used all of my powers. "

" You are a liar! "

Everyone is now chasing me. I run away and I enter a small hole. When I go out at the other side I figure out that this whole place is some sort of abandoned "Aztec super-advanced complex". Everything in this place is beautiful but unfortunately, the tribe is chasing me. I remember that blue water was flowing out of everywhere. There were many "square tubes" with water coming out of there. Everything was made out of rocks and transparent crystals. The crystals would switch colors when I would go near them. I entered one of the square tubes and a woman's voice said:

" Welcome to the Aztec complex, you are now heading towards the recreation commons. "

I could still head the tribe searching for me, but I knew they didn't see me enter the tube.

" Next is the water theater. You will be able to see moving pictures through waterfalls. " the voice said.

I didn't care about this thing. All I wanted was to run away. I entered in a small tube and I ended up in an abandoned fast food restaurant very similar to McDonald's. All of the chairs were lying on the ground and the tables were full of mess as if some sort of tragedy had happened. I could see some windows at the other side of the place. There was a little girl riding her bicycle. I took a chair and broke the window ( took a couple of hits to do so ). The little girl stopped riding her bicycle and then she started riding it again, yet avoiding me. I then found myself in a very futuristic city which was extremely clean and friendly. Everyone was smiling and wore nice clothes. However, I felt like I was an illegal immigrant and I feared to be caught by the police. I saw a blond haired woman that I do not know ( but in my dream, I just knew her ). I asked her to help me. She said yes, and I woke up

O Plano Perfeito (Inside Man). 2006. EUA. Direção: Spike Lee. Elenco: Clive Owen, Denzel Washington, Christopher Plummer, Willem Dafoe, Jodie Foster, Chiwetel Ejiofor. Gênero: Drama, Policial, Suspense. Duração: 129 minutos.

Para mim, o filme não foi perfeito por se alongar demais. Quem já conhece meus textos sabem que não me importo com a duração do filme. Desde claro que tenha razão para isso. Que o seja por conteúdo. Ou até que não nos tire a atenção. Nesse, teve uns 20 minutos entediantes, onde até lixei um pouco as unhas. Fiquei com a impressão de que para o Spike Lee filme bom tem que ser longo. Tal qual o pensamento do Jô Soares que livro bom tem que ficar em pé (Para quem tem Orkut, conto essa história aqui com mais detalhe.). Sem esses 20 minutos, a história ficaria mais amarrada.

Outro ponto que não gostei foi com a escolha da atriz. Ou o Diretor não soube tirar todo o potencial de Jodie Foster. Talvez uma outra atriz teria roubado a cena, quiçá o filme. Pelo personagem, por aquilo que tinha que fazer: em ficar entre o banqueiro, o bandido e o mocinho. Mas ficou a desejar. Ela fora incumbida pelo banqueiro de que algo guardado num dos cofres que ficasse em segredo. Sendo assim teria que passar pelos tiras para chegar aos assaltantes.

Em relação a história do tal segredo do banqueiro (Christopher Plummer) não é original. Também não vejo demérito nisso. Mas digo porque tantos bateram nessa tese. A história me fez lembrar de outra num livro há muito tempo atrás. Pena que não lembro o nome (Foi num período onde algumas Editoras fizeram tiragens de livros em papel jornal. Eram vendidos em Bancas de Jornais a preços bem populares. Eu li muitos nessa época.). Fiquei pensando que o Spike Lee também leu tal livro. E inspirou-se naquele segredo para fazer esse.

O segredo do banqueiro, sem estragar a surpresa de quem ainda não viu esse filme, vem de encontro em aproveitar-se de uma situação para dela extrair dividendos. Algo anti-ético? Amoral? Sim. Mas que alguns governantes fazem passar tranqüilamente pelos olhos da lei. Por terem a máquina a seu favor.

Caça ao rato? Bandido versus Mocinhos? Metendo o dedo na ferida? Tudo isso é exposto nessas horas onde um assalto a um banco fora descoberto. Teria sido mesmo? Os policiais não teriam sido parte do plano? Entre bandidos e os tiras, haviam reféns. Restaria saber quem era quem.

Mas o filme é bom. Amei a música Chaiyya, Chaiyya! E a carequinha do Denzel me fez ficar com saudades do Kojak. Ah! Aquele final me fez pensar que deixaram um gancho para uma continuação. Eu espero que não, pois seria mais um ponto negativo.

Ten film z 2000 roku, oparty  znakomitej książce stanowi o talencie Christiana Bale'a. Oczywiście talent odkryty w 'Imperium Słońca' już dawno czarował. Tutaj jednak Bale to już dorosły mężczyzna a tym filmem tchnął swą karierą na zupełnie nowe terytoria, gdyż to jego najlepszy występ w karierze.

Poziom na jaki się wspiął kreśląc amerykańskiego psychopatę jest imponujący. Wściekła bestia taplająca się we krwi, zrozpaczony  bezkarnością płaczący frustrat  jak również nienagannie ubrany ważniak z Wallstreet. W każdym z tych stanów Patricka Batemana walijski aktor jest doskonały.

Tak jak i cały film-ze specyficznym klimatem- do końca nie mamy pewności w pewnych momentach,czy to nie jest czasem sen,ułuda głównego bohatera. Może pachnie to 'Milczeniem Owiec', ale mamy tutaj bestialstwo, plugastwo i mord przemieszany z wiekowym chardonnay, wykwintną kolacją, i wysokim poziomem życia. . Bardzo to ciekawe. Film nie tłumaczy kim jest główny bohater, nie chce nas zbliżyć do psychopaty. Nikt nie próbuje dokonać zabiegu 'to potwór, a widz go i tak polubi- jakże to przewrotne'

Tu jest inaczej. Wyrażnie, bardzo wyraźnie czułem ten głów mordu, tę chęć zabijania, tę potrzebę silniejszą nawet od popędu seksualnego by zabijać: dla zabawy, dla rozkoszy, dla satysfakcji. A potem Batemanowi puszczają hamulce, totalny szał. Lecz nigdy nie przychodzi kara i pokuta, co doprowadza Patricka Batemana do szału
Doskonały film. Interesujący, poruszający. Znakomite kreacje aktorskie, muzyka. Polecam serdecznie 9/10
