Men for et par dage siden blev han af en eller anden grund anholdt!! (Måske han havde ramt en tilskuer med stokken), hvorefter hans ting blev rodet igennem.

Her fandt vores underbemandede politistyrke en foldekniv, og han blev anholdt for at overtræde en våbenlov, han ikke vidste noget om.

Kniven bruger han såmænd ikke til at true kjøbenhavnere med, men til at fjerne den lim, som bruges til at holde Charlie Chaplin skægget på plads...

Men en magtsyg dommer gav ham alligevel en tur i spjældet, og nu ser det ud til, at han står til udvisning for denne ganske harmløse "forbrydelse"... Men alle der går med kniv er jo også idioter ifølge f.eks. en ganske stor facebook-gruppe (Hvilket jo er en verdensnyhed ifølge TV2)!...!

Og politiet har åbenbart ikke andre ting at give sig til, selvom de eftersigende skulle mangle mandskab. Denne hændelse kommer efter, at mange har klaget over, at politiet aldrig dukker op, når der f.eks. sker overfald og indbrud.

Men en stakkels slovak, som prøver at gøre livet lidt sjovere, er straks en fjende mod samfundet... Uretfærdighed er der fandme nok af i det her "Lorte Land", som Buster Larsen sikkert ville have udtrykt det...

Last week I went to a meeting at one of the police headquarters no less and what would come out of the mouth of an older white woman to describe a young black man but the word "colored".  Seeing how I was the only other colored in the room besides the police commander who did NOT address that aspect of this woman's comment, I kept my mouth shut. DANG was that hard!!  I could't believe it! I am in the mid-west, in Indiana no less so I guess on some levels I shouldn't be shocked at all- but I am still disturbed.  The incident occured one week ago and I am clearly still pissed off about the situation!   *BREATHE*

So I asked some of my close friends, etc.  Basic sentiment is that is was ok - because she was an older white woman - she probably calls us worse names in the privacy of her own home. But my response was dang that - I am mad. I can't believe that in 2008, when Amerikkka is on the verge of its first black president, I have to sit in a meeting and hear someone refer to a black person as colored. 

COLORED - really - like what crayola??? Wikipedia says this about the word:

First I would like to wish Craig Lutz a speedy recovery from his knee injury.  He was playing softball when he blew out his knee.  We both play softball and I told him it might be time for us both to retire.

Another issue is this article about this woman who was awarded $150,000 because her former fiancé broke of the engagement.  Well, I would like to be the first person to announce I am going patent the pre-engagement agreement to protect men or women from someone taking their money because they later find out the person they thought the loved turned out to be a bit – off the hook.

I can sympathize with this guy.  I paid off my wife’s credit card prior to us getting married to find out she charged it up again.  I only took her card, and I guess after 15 years in August, it worked out for me.  But to the jury of this case – shame on you.  This man was the victim – not the woman. 

Why should someone spend the rest of their lives with someone they find out not to be compatible.

But this post isn’t about my awesome playlist, it’s about a recovered memory, specifically the memory of City High.

What the hell happened to them?  I loved “What Would You Do?”  I loved “Caramel.”  That lead singer girl is smoking hot, and the guys in the group aren’t too annoying.  They really should have lasted longer, but just disappeared.  I mean, 3LW had four singles for christ’s sake.

City High wrestled with important societal issues in a way that was genuine and classy at the same time.  I highly suspect that it was their association with that asshole Wyclef that ultimately did them in.

I hope the members of City High are doing well today, but I fear for the worst.  I fear that Claudette Ortiz was seduced by Wyclef, which resulted in a pregnancy, and she had to give up singing and turn to stripping in order to feed her baby.  I fear that Ryan Toby fell into an long forgotten Vietnamese Tiger trap back in 2004 and is still there, impaled on a dung covered spike, living off his own flesh and that of stray animals that share his fate.  I fear that Robbie Pardlo fell into a life of crime, and is now living a rough and tumble life on the streets of Baltimore, working muscle for an up and coming drug dealer named Harlow.  Oh, lord, I hope they’re doing better than that.

I miss you, City High.  Write another hit.

I've been having troubles lately with a number of things. I don't mean to be melodramatic as I usually am, but this has been quite hard for me in the past 2 months.

First, I'm wondering if I'm just convincing myself right now that I made the right choice when in fact, I made a terrible choice. I have a foreboding that I'm about to find out how harsh the "real world" is. For clarification, the reader should know what exactly I mean when I say, "the choice I made". I know that when I spell it out for you, it's going to sound very stupid; that's okay.

I purposely got kicked out of school (for low grades) because I believed that it would be a good way for me to avoid having to go back to school since my dad would, of course, not approve of me leaving. So basically I was weak and thought I would be able to avoid conflict with my father this way since I knew he would laugh at me if I told him my "plans". To be honest, at this point, I'm not even sure what my plans are. Right now, I'm telling my dad that I would go to the community college in the spring and that I was interested in joining the military. I don't want to do either one, especially the latter, but I'm just telling him these things to appease him. So what do I actually want to do? Hell if I know. Obviously I need to eat, and have a place to live.

This summer I've just been studying an assortment of things, mostly math and foreign languages. Occasionally I peek inside my physics, economics, and philosophy books. I've also made a vow to read at least ~30 pages worth of a novel every day. I'm also discovering how awesome Mathematica is; it's quite a helpful and fun program. At least since I quit school, I've been learning more than ever despite my constant motivation problems, the discouragement and lack of support from my family, petty thoughts and anxieties running around my head. The worst part is that everyone around me seems to regard me with much less respect now, just because I left school; it's all terribly depressing. At a time when I need support and a chin up the most, everyone looks down at me.

As for a job, a source of income so I can eat and live somewhere, I want to try to do private tutoring, at least in math up through however far I think I'd be qualified, and potentially SAT, physics. I'll have to figure out how to tutor for the SAT which is a very profitable market and since I'll be competing with organized firms that charge ridiculous amounts of money; I'll have clients running at me willing to pay 20-40 dollars an hour easily. Also, physics is in the back-burner currently since I discovered I absolutely love math. Later on, I might try ESL, Spanish, and possibly Russian (a depressingly challenging language). Also I'll probably have a part-time job for a while and do odd jobs on the side until I'm able to get some good references/credentials which I do not have.

But, there's one other thing that I'm most likely going to do, particularly on my 18th birthday. For the sake of my sanity which I'm quickly losing by being around my father, I am considering running away in the middle of the night. Where would I go? I'm trying to figure that one out. It would be awesome if I could find someone I know that has an apartment they would be willing to share. I'd stay with them briefly (splitting the bill of course), find my own place, get a job etc...I'll see how things work out when I get there. I would stay with my mom (she lives in Austin about 50 miles from me, my parents are divorced) for a while who would be more than willing to help because it just makes sense, however, my mom would be the first person to be contacted by my dad when he finds out I ran away.

Well, this post is making me weary already. I have more to talk about including an amusing/pathetic story to tell about how my dad was planning on sending me to a private religious school and how I fought it.

I hope no one is stupid enough to post some comments telling me to "suck it up" and go back to school, or make a comment like "I'm playing the world's smallest violin for you." Sorry but, I've heard it all before and it's always from people who are nothing more than tools and have more than likely lived less-than-fulfilling lives so far. A harsh thing to say but that's what you get for being such an epic dumbass.

I'll post a little more on this later. That's it for now.

I had a bottle of perfume in my hand-carry bag and was told by security personnel to get rid of it. I didn't want to (it was Annella Green!) and much to Ferdie's annoyance he had to line up and check-in my bag too.

I freakin' cried on the plane because my left ear (where I always put my headset at work) hurt so bad. C'mon, t'was me first-time!

Took a boat to Botegis and cried too---because it was too mainit and masikip. (What a baby!)

Wanted to get my picture taken next to a pig, and then the pig went after me, so I ran and screamed my head off.

Oh, when I got to Botegis I had to ride on a tricycle meant for pigs!

 
Ate the best damn seafood that the residents of that small island catch themselves.

Attended a barrio-style wedding.Helped cooking in barrio-style bayanihan.

Took a bath Barrio-style---you know, just a small space outside, a cubicle made of wood covered with rice sacks. And the water was kept in huge jars. I wondered for a while why the water was slippery and then I found out the people there used rainwater.

Made my first sand-castle.

Went  to swim at a beach for the first time, and there was no water! Freakin' low-tide!

Took a dead starfish and named him Patrick.

WHile on the ferry I drafted a letter to marine authorities in my head complaining about the seaworthiness of that big metal junk, and the pathetic state of their life jackets that don't seem to be enough for all the passengers.Ferdie talked me out of it.
Lit Chinese incense sticks and made a wish.
Ate Puso and Ngohiong---only in Cebu.
Cried on the plane---again--back to Manila. I hate freakin' air pressure!

With all of those hardships already in place, it's a bit alarming to get a bank statement that has been brutally mangled by the USPS. Of course they apologized (see below), and I did what only a person who recently bought her first digital camera would do-- I took many, many pictures, and posted them on the internet.

The yellow bits are post-its covering up information that is no one's business.

I was reading on an article. and it made my heart tingle.
Its really really sad. sometimes u really wish to give more.
But u're unable to do so due to some unforseen circumstances.

- Today is the second day of Term 3.

- Today was @(#&$! cold.

- The bus came on time (OMFG really?), yes it did. But I still didn't have a seat so anyway...

Among other trivial things, there were more important events.

- I received my Biology paper back (11 for those who understand) o~O

- I received my English Advanced paper back (18/20), thus proving to myself the past three times (14/15, 18/20, 14/15) were not flukes and making myself very happy for the rest of the day. =D

- I realised how screwed I am for Trials. Which is better than realising how screwed I am the day before English Paper 2.

Other things must be recorded here for the sake of it:

- I skipped breakfast, recess and lunch without eating.

- Our hockey game was s***, drew 1-1 with Northmead. And I killed a guy's finger in the process. Jasper scored. And I dribbled and passed the ball like a monkey.

- I walked home, and here I am now, typing away.

To happen today:

- Will have dinner (I am starving)

- Will have a shower

- Will study my arse off (metaphorically/symbolically)

- Will study my Physics textbook

- Will revise my English essays.

- Will go to bed feeling dead and stoned.

What a happy four weeks it'll be...
