I just wanted to let everyone know that my server is experiencing problems right now, but not to worry….I anticipated this so I have numerous “Clone Sites” of my page and I am publishing one or maybe even two of them immediately! Woohooo!!!!

Like I said in my last post on my own site….I won't be bullied anymore and I’m not going anywhere!!!

Having said all that I just don’t understand ANYTHING being more important than ones children. **********

• To Jenny, her drinking is more important than her kids.

• To Glenn, his being high on prescription meds is more important than his kids.

• To John, money and his hatred of his ex-wife is more important than his kids.

• To my Mother, her bitterness at the cards life dealt her was more important than her kids.

• To my Sister, her next score of illegal drugs was more important than her kids.

Why do people have children if those children and their importance are disposable? I don’t understand how anyone can consider anything as being more important than their kids.

Don’t get me wrong. I am not one of those people who think that my children are little princes who are perfect because of the mere fact that they are mine. Nope. So it’s not an ego thing with me where they are so perfect that I, and everyone, must genuflect at my children’s feet. Nowhere near that. Just like in life, I am nothing if not realistic about my sons and nephew.

It’s just that I cant think of anything, that if I knew it was in any way negatively impacting my children, that I wouldn’t give it up in a heartbeat. 

Is it that the addicted choose not to see the impact on the children? Is it that they convince themselves that it isn’t having an impact? Or does it truly not matter to them as long as the continued addiction is not impeded in any way? I guess I am just musing. Because I don’t have an addictive personality it is a little difficult for me to understand the NEED for anything if it puts ones children in danger or alienates them.

So today, while waiting in the big boss' office for a meeting to begin, the big boss was telling us how he is an ordained minister and he has had a lot of people call him recently and request that he officiate at their wedding. He has told us about other weddings he has officiated and how much he enjoyed it, but today he said it is beginning to demand too much of his attention.

Martha asked him, Well what if one of your kids get married? Will you officiate?

He said "Oh, of course I will!"

Then Bert said "What if a close friend asks you to officiate their wedding?

He said "Of Course".

Then I chimed in with "What if I find the Jerk I want to spend the rest of my life with? Will you officiate?" Then the room erupted in to laughter!

Does John make flights to other countries to bring drugs back to the US? He says he does...he says it's for the "DEA"...Does the DEA know you make flights to smuggle illegal drugs for them? I'll bet that would come as a surprise to them! LOL!

I previously mentioned that I HATE cowards. That label certainly attaches to anyone that anonymously attacks another person. People like that have as much value to society as a child molester.

Desiree" is clearly not wrapped very tightly. She makes in clear in her web-based rant that she is out to get John. She makes this explicitly clear where she states that she feels that John did her wrong. Yet she somehow expects readers of her site to ignore the obvious spite and malice, and credit her unsupported assertions as being the objective truth. Clearly she does not have enough friends, so someone would have given her a reality check and a shoulder to cry on. Lacking that, she has committed herself to a course of defamation which would be actionable in any court in the country. Yet, she thinks we should believe her.

The word "delusional" comes to mind. Sad.

What do fans do while they wait for new episodes of Galactica?  They make their own BSG playsets out of Legos, of course!  This morning I received an email from my friend Liz, who wanted to share the Lego Viper her ten-year old son had made.  It was quite a complex undertaking for the little Viper-pilot to be, and as I sat back and stared at the Lego Viper that's been sitting on my  shelf since the start of the third season, I began to wonder: just how many Lego Vipers are out there?

Quite a few, from the looks of it.  I did some hunting around and put together a gallery to share with my loyal and lovely Darth Mojo readers.  Is there anything more fun to look at on a Friday? 

This first model was built by Bram Lambrecht from Belgium (click to enlarge):

This Viper sports retractable landing gear and won first prize in a Lego design contest!  What sort of guy takes the time to make one of these?  Bram is currently at Berkeley working towards his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering.  Click here and check out his site, he's got a plethora of cool Lego constructs, including a bitchin' Star Wars  AT-ST and a few of his own designs (check out the Q-35 Aerospace Jump-Jet).  Maybe NASA should start looking at Lego.

Hot on this Viper's tail is an exquisitely detailed original series Cylon Raider:

This was found in Lino M's Flickr profile.  Lino is a hobbyist, photographer, aviation buff, car fanatic and quite clearly has way too much time on his hands!  When you click on the Raider you'll see the insane amount of care and accuracy he's put into this model.  The canopy even comes off to reveal a detailed cockpit!  Click here to see more of this Lego bad boy.

Brickshelf is perhaps the largest museum of Lego imagery on the web.  Searching the site for "Galactica" returns all kinds of goodies that prove time with no girlfriend does not have to be spent downloading porn.  Here are a few of the Galactica, original and new:

One of the most prolific Lego builders on Brickshelf goes by the name of "Legostein;" not only has this guy built miniature replicas of nearly every ship in the Battlestar  universe, he includes visual, step by step instructions to help you make your own!  Just take a look at some of his handiwork:

But the gold medal of Battlestar Brickshelf  efinitely goes to one Mr. Captain-Nakota, who has recreated the entire Flight Deck of the Galactica, complete with Vipers MK II and VII, the flight crew and all our favorite characters!  Take a look:

Now that  is some serious dedication to your craft!  The Viper that proudly sits on my shelf here at BSG VFX central was made by Mr. Nakota.  Jealous?  I'll let you in on a little secret - he is known to occasionally put one up on eBay, so keep an eye out.  To see his full gallery, CLICK HERE.

Now, I know what you're thinking - what good is a post about Battlestar Galactica  without Starbuck and Apollo?  I couldn't agree with you more:

A trip to Lego Fanspace proves that some folks care about more than hardware; on that site you'll find Lego recreations of characters from Indiana Jones, the case of every Star Trek  series, Doctor Who and oh so much more.

And last, but certainly not least, we have photos of the very latest Lego Viper to join the ranks of the Colonial Fleet:

I'm sure with a few months, ten-year old Addicus will be putting the finishing touches on his very own, full-scale Lego Centurion.  It's great to have such young fans of the show, but I wonder how mom deals with questions like, "what is Baltar doing with that invisible girl?"
