Video CoPilot är ett riktigt webb 2.0 fenomen, han delar
med sig av sina kunskaper och trix som används i film
och TV serier, gratis. Andrew Kramer heter mannen som
ligger bakom sidan och övningarna som erbjuds.

Jag har läst dom flesta böcker inom ämnet och måste
säga, att dom här övningarna håller högre kvalitet än
dom man köper. En del av materialet använder jag  som
uppgifter när jag kör företagsutbildningar inom special-
effekter med After Effects CS3, Blandat med mitt eget mtrl ->

Demon faces created using CGI effects are popular stuff in recent mainstream movies--possession, exorcism, witchcraft, ghost stories, etc. Seems that the effect is called Demon Face Warp using a software called Adobe After Effects.

I found a lot of amateur demon faces all over the web, and at first scared the creeps out of me, but the more I saw them, the more hilarious it looked.

The Demon face videos are credited to the work of visual effects designer Andrew Cramer who hosts a tutorial site called Video CoPilot.

Interesting stuff.

Just saw "Wanted" on Canaday Day weekend, good clean summer fun without bogging us down with a complicated story. It was like a film school creole of Fight Club, Matrix and Equilibrium's imaginative gun play.

I was looking around to figure out who did the visual effects because the "curving Bullet Shot" in the trailer resembles the Video Copilot's Tutorial THE BULLET

that I just did but there wasn't much info except for this article from the VFXWorld

O site dispõe de uma seção pra iniciantes entenderem o básico do programa, com tutoriais em vídeo explicando processos e dando dicas ao longo. Possui também uma seção de tutoriais de produção, ensinando a criar certos efeitos muito vistos hoje, com qualidade pra serem usados em TV/Cinema. Também dispõe de alguns presets pra After, que eles explicam como usar em alguns dos tutoriais.

Mas o principal do VideoCopilot são seus produtos — DVDs contendo footage criados por eles, já com alpha pronto, em alta definição e fps alto. Volutas animadas, espirros de tinta, elementos de grafite e essas coisas tendenciosas que estão em alta hoje... João Velho que me desculpe, mas às vezes agente tem que usar coisas prontas sim. Além disso, tem uns DVDs com efeitos sonoros e outros com filtros cinematográficos e efeitos de produção. Coisas que agente até poderia fazer, mas já que alguem já fez, pq não usufruir ? Ainda mais com essa qualidade toda.
