Sarah Palin is the real thing. I firmly believe that her racist, greedy, self-serving views are 100% authentic. Mange you can believe in.

Dana Milbank reports that Palin's taken hold of her message of hate with those stubborn pitbull jaws and even at the request of her running mate (that would be John McCain, he's running for president under Palin's vice presidency) refuses to rein in her snarling, rabid froth.

As the Palin/McCain ticket sinks slowly in the west (east, north and south), Palin continues her ruinous rants, proclaiming, reports Milbank, " 'For me, the heels are on, the gloves are off,' she announced at high noon Monday to a group of Republican donors at the Naples Beach Club.

"You betcha."

Read Milbank's whole story here, and God, bless us, everyone.

[caption id="attachment_39" align="alignleft" width="100" caption="Multiplataforma"][/caption]

I have watched all the videos, and believe it is a movie trailer. Please post in comments if you know what is is all about.

Basically, if you watch the movie trailer, you see a bunch of people watching a movie. And they leave you with a message telling you to check back to see what will be unleashed on 10/31/08.

"It's shocking. It's scary."

It's a bunch of hype, and maybe it will live up to it?

I did some research and Versus.com owns the domain, and it is a sports network. Possibly a boxing match of gladiator level?

Star Wars the Force Unleashed é um jogo diferente e divertido disponível na AppStore. É um jogo que sem dúvida os fãs da série irão gostar. A jogabilidade é limitada porém inovadora.

THREE. Kira Jordan wakes up in a pitch-black room handcuffed to a metal wall. She has 60 seconds to escape. Thus begins a vicious game where to lose is to die. TWO. The man she's been partnered with - her only ally in this nightmare - is a convicted mass murderer. But if he's so violent, why does he protect her? And stranger still, what is it behind those haunted sea-green eyes that makes her want to protect him? ONE. No one to trust. Nowhere to run. And the only hope of survival is working together to beat the COUNTDOWN.

Who is Jenna Fox? Seventeen-year-old Jenna has been told that is her name. She has just awoken from a coma, they tell her, and she is still recovering from a terrible accident in which she was involved a year ago. But what happened before that? Jenna doesn't remember her life. Or does she? And are the memories really hers?

Melanie Stryder refuses to fade away. The earth has been invaded by a species that take over the minds of their human hosts while leaving their bodies intact, and most of humanity has succumbed. Wanderer, the invading "soul" who has been given Melanie's body, knew about the challenges of living inside a human: the overwhelming emotions, the too vivid memories. But there was one difficulty Wanderer didn't expect: the former tenant of her body refusing to relinquish possession of her mind. Melanie fills Wanderer's thoughts with visions of the man Melanie loves - Jared, a human who still lives in hiding. Unable to separate herself from her body's desires, Wanderer yearns for a man she's never met. As outside forces make Wanderer and Melanie unwilling allies, they set off to search for the man they both love.

First cousins Laura and Miles grew up like sisters. Miles thought of Laura as the golden one - smart, beautiful, rich, and popular - while Miles considered herself the unwanted one - an unattractive, underachieving outcast. Laura's suicide shatters Miles and leaves her feeling completely alone, and sets Miles on a dangerous downward spiral. But in the strength Miles finds in herself and in those she didn't believe cared about her, she is able to rebuild her life in unexpected ways.

Tess Corday soon realises that there is not going to be anything ordinary about this case. Not the lab results on the cause of death. Not Mia Polanski, the teenage girl living at the address found in the vamp's pocket, who may well be in thrall to a demon. And certainly not Lucian Agrado, the necromancer who is liaison to the vampire community. Agrado is supposed to be part of the solution, but Tess suspects he might be part of the problem. Under pressure from her boss, Tess is trying to go by the book on this one. But when Mia reaches out to her, she risks her career to help the girl. And finds herself in the middle of a paranormal conspiracy that will change her life forever. Or possibly end it...

Daniel Morning seems perfect - handsome, charismatic, intelligent. But living up to everyone's expectations has cost him the right to make his own decisions. The urge to shatter those expectations is beginning to gnaw at his insides. Then Daniel meets Misty. She's smoky, rebellious, tender...and much more. She decides to let him into her pack of outcasts - and in on their little secret: She and her friends have learned to shape-shift, and have been prowling the night as wolves. Daniel soon falls in love with the primal sensation of shifting, just as he's falling in love with Misty. The freedom to follow his most basic instincts is like nothing he's ever felt. But Daniel will slowly come to realise that such freedom comes at a price...

Recovering con artist Ciara Griffin is trying to live the straight life, even if it means finding a (shudder!) real job. She takes an internship at a local radio station, whose late-night time-warp format features 1940s blues, '60s psychedelia, '80s Goth, and more, all with an uncannily authentic flair. Ciara soon discovers just how the DJs maintain their cred: they're vampires, stuck forever in the eras in which they were turned. Ciara's first instinct, as always, is to cut and run. But communications giant Skywave wants to buy WVMP and turn it into just another hit-playing clone. Without the station - and the link it provides to their original Life Times - the vampires would "fade," becoming little more than mindless ghosts of the past. Suddenly a routine corporate takeover is a matter of life and un-death. To boost ratings and save the lives of her strange new friends, Ciara re-brands the station as "WVMP, the Lifeblood of Rock 'n' Roll." In the ultimate con, she hides the DJs' vampire nature in plain sight, disguising the bloody truth as a marketing gimmick. WVMP becomes the hottest thing around - next to Ciara's complicated affair with grunge vamp Shane McAllister. But the "gimmick" enrages a posse of ancient and powerful vampires who aren't so eager to be brought into the light. Soon the stakes are higher - and the perils graver - than any con game Ciara's ever played...

Tatiana has honed her genetic gifts to perfection. She can withstand the subzero temperatures of the Northern Waste, read somebody's mind with the briefest touch, and slice through bone with her bare hands. Which makes her one bad-ass chick, all right. Nothing gets to her. Until she meets Tristan. Villain or ally, she can't be sure. But one thing she does know: he has gifts too - including the ability to ramp up her heart rate to dangerous levels. But before they can start some chemistry of their own, they have to survive being trapped in an underground lab, hunted by a madman, and exposed to a plague that could destroy mankind.

THERE'S A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN...And her name is Talia Fortune. Her mission: capture the cyber outlaw, Kovner, a man who knows she is more than just a sheriff - Talia is also a woman, with a woman's desires. Scion of the Fortune family and primary shareholder of the mega-conglomerate FortuneCorp, she is the Hand of Fate...or at least of the Home Office. With the power to punish, she's been sent to Fresh Havens - a corporate off-world colony run by her uncle. But the colony is full of hidden danger. Sabotage, deception, destruction...it will take every ounce of Talia's strength and courage, fighting skills honed in the Amphitheatre and knowledge learned at the Academy, just to survive. Her ability to love and trust will be sorely tested, especially in the clutches of her quarry, the Outlaw of Fresh Havens, her cyber-lover and now her enemy. He and the answers lie in the Gray Forest, in a reality beyond the bubbledome, the Grid, and everything she's ever known. Her future lies in...NETHERWOOD.

Milagro De Los Santos is having serious problems planning her wedding to fabulous Oswald Grant, M.D. Her future in-laws loathe her, her dog just died, and Oswald's family has a genetic anomaly that makes them crave blood. Then her extravagant best friend hijacks the role of wedding coordinator, and the secretive Vampire Council assigns conniving Cornelia Ducharme to guide the couple through the ancient vampire marriage rituals. To top it all off, Milagro's career is on the skids. She's reduced to ghost-writing the memoirs of a loony little man who claims to be a shape-shifter. And why does Cornelia's decadent, way too attractive brother, Ian, always show up whenever Milagro is away from Oswald? When a series of accidents interferes with wedding plans, Oswald worries that Milagro is cracking under the pressure. Is she just paranoid, or is a hidden enemy trying to make sure Milagro doesn't wed the un-dead?

With the first Star Wars game on the next generation consoles many people were excited with the possiblity of a great game. However, the demo came and went with mixed reactions and early reviews brought a bad omen for The Force Unleashed.

I received my copy yesterday and after playing it for a good session I think that the game from Lucas Arts is a good but not fantastic game. Yes, it has its problems, quite a few in fact but it provides a good time and brings something extra to the current new releases. Amongst the winter games rush this doesn't stand out but if it was released at the beginning of summer it would provide a fantastic start to the summer games drought and would keep most gamers happy for the summer. However, released at this time of year, with such delights as FIFA 09 and Little Big Planet coming soon this doesn't stand out and many people will pass this by.

The many bugs and problems with this game can be passed by and almost all casual gamers will enjoy this and it will provide a good time and an excellant alternative to the lineup of FPS.

Conclusion: A good game with some problems but provides a great time and a change from FPS.

Recently the long awaited game, StarWars: The Force Unleashed, was released on all next gen systems.

Recently the long awaited game, StarWars: The Force Unleashed, was released on all next gen systems. I believe this was a let down as far as gameplay. When it was early in development, LucasArts released a video of the new graphics engines it would be using. The first was DMM (Digital Molecular Matter). It lets wood break like wood, metal like metal, and glass like glass. This is alot more insteresting than the normal pre-programmed shatter of grass or wood. Also, most games allow only a little of the environment to be destructable. In this game, almost everything is. Second was Euphoria. This gives every character a brain and nervous system. The reaactions of everyone is different, making it a whole deal more realistic.

But, Here's the downside. I own the 360 version, and besides story mode and training, there is nothing else. No dueling mode, no two player, nothing. The only thing you can do to make your character a little different is change his costume and lightsaber. A custom costume would be nice, but the lightsabers were fine. I have also played the Wii edition, which has dueling and all that nice stuff.

I still love to play this game though, no matter how many times I play it. If you use cheatcodes to change the costume to a different character, there is a whole new aspect to gameplay. So, if you use cheatcodes, the gameplay is a bit more unique.

Out of 10, I would give this game a 7. Maybe not the best buy, but good to rent once or twice if you want to save some money.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

The Force Unleashed was everything I expected it to be as far as gam

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

The Force Unleashed was everything I expected it to be as far as gameplay goes. It's a great feeling to calmly walk through a group of storm-troopers and completely own them without one slash of the light saber. This is the way the force was meant to be experienced in a game. Truly powerful, you really feel like you have the advantage to everyone. The game is still challenging though, it's not like the force allows you to just walk through the game. There are enemies who also use the force, and there are more difficult storm-troopers that have some kind of shield that block the use of force powers. And of course the bosses are a challenge.
My only disappointment is that the game was too short. It was difficult for sure (I played it on hard) but once it was over I was left with the feeling that there should have been more.
The greatest part of this game is the story. This video game has, believe it or not, a greater story than episodes 1 and 2 of the movies. Yea, I said that. You may argue, but I believe it's true. And it’s canon Star Wars, follows the story completely. The story had character development, growth, kept me interested and engaged the whole time.
The acting (voice overs, what ever!) is far better than Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker) could ever act. It’s worth watching the cinematics only.
I recommend for first time players to play through it once on Medium difficulty, build up your force powers, and don’t worry so much about gathering all the holocrons. Then, after beating on medium, focus on gathering all the Jedi Holocrons and completing the force powers upgrades. The game will be harder but you’ll have more powerful abilities.

Overall I give the game an 8/10

The photo above shows dual weilding lightsabers and two allies with you. Throughout the game you only get to use the one lightsaber. You can changle the colors but not the make. So no dual weilding and no double bladed. That sucked. Also, there's never a part in the game where there are two hot women following you around. Aaaw...

Our friends over at The Xbox Domain made a post informing everyone of some very delightful news. The highly advertised "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" has sold over 1.5 Million copies in just one week on the market. Thats 1.5 MILLION. With some decent reviews, it seems that it doesn't matter what the rating is, just as long as it says "Star Wars" on it. Don't get us wrong, we loved the demo, we just haven't upgraded to the full version yet. Well done LucasArts, very well done.

With the news that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has finally been released, I feel compelled to off

With the news that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed has finally been released, I feel compelled to offer a friendly warning: Friends don't let friends use "The Force" (in real life).

As I read reviews of the game and its many interactive features, I can't help but to think back a few years ago, when I first saw this homemade (and quite obviously, bootlegged) video of this, er, gentleman living out his wildest dream: training to "use The Force"!

I urge you to watch the entire clip, which is about two minutes long, although you may be inclined to stop much sooner: you will be rewarded with some very fancy moves near the clip's end.

It's fine to let your kids pretend to be Jedi. And it's even fine for you to pretend to be one, too ... in the privacy of your own home. But please, I beg you: don't do The Force out in the wild. It just doesn't work. And I'll even share this little-known secret, in hopes that you'll pass it along: The Force is never with those who don't wear shirts.

I thought to get this thing off the ground and get a few posts under my belt, I'd insert a few of my previous reviews. Don't worry, there will be new stuff coming soon, but I wanted a good foundation.

Spore (Mac version reviewed)

"Spore" plays like a birthday clown to a five year old: You begin thinking that it's going to be the greatest thing that's ever happened to you and then 10 minutes into the act you realize it isn't nearly as much fun as you thought it'd be. Although there's nothing terrible about "Spore," there's nothing terribly exciting about it either.

The game is divided into five "stages," each like its own separate (yet very simplistic) game. To advance, you must perform specific tasks to fill your progress bar, which, when full, will allow you to access the next stage.

Players begin in the primordial soup, a single-celled organism playing a glorified version of Pac-Man until they eat enough to evolve into a land critter. This begins the second, and most fun stage of "Spore," the creature stage. You begin by building the beast you will eventually control. Give him eyes to see, legs to run, even some spikes for self-defense. If you played the previously released "Spore Creature Creator," you'll be right at home. You then run around a sparsely populated world either making friends with other creations or killing them. Doing so will give you new parts for your critter that you can outfit on him by mating with another of your species. It's great fun, if a little monotonous, but the new parts you get keep this stage fresh.

The rest of the stages are where "Spore" begins to upset. Once you enter the tribe stage, you no longer feel attached to your Darwinian masterpiece. There is no more customizing of your creature and any spikes or speedy legs you may have given him are completely nullified. You're now playing a simplistic real-time strategy game, except that's it's also very confusing because you don't have any specialized units.

Once you manage to stumble through to the civilization stage, you've pretty much lost all contact with your original creation. The space stage seems like the one the developers worked the hardest on, but to be honest, I was losing interest. There is a lot to do: collect equipment, analyze creatures, terra-form planets, but you've completely lost touch with your fuzzy little avatar, the best part of the entire game.

It took me about five hours to get to the final stage of "Spore." I would have really liked to see each individual stage go more in-depth. They all had a few things going for them, but none of them had me clambering for more. It felt like one of those Web sites with all of the little web games - each one has its own little gimmick, but none of them are going to enthrall players for hours on end.

No other game offers as much variety as "Spore" does - it has an amazing creature creator that imaginative people will adore, and the different stages do an effective job of mixing up the game play. It just doesn't do enough to make it a worthy purchase. I wanted a balloon animal puppy, but all I got was a snake. Stupid clowns.

8 out of 10

___________________________________________________________________________________________________

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Xbox 360 version reviewed)

Admit it, I will: I am a hardcore Star Wars fan. I'm also a hardcore gamer. According to the transitive property, I should be a hardcore Star Wars video game fan, but that's not always the case. For every "Knights of the Old Republic," there's going to be a ton of crap like "Star Wars: Bounty Hunter." "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" is thankfully in the aforementioned category, but, like Harrison Ford's acting career, is not without its flaws.

"The Force Unleashed" is a solid action game, harkening back to some of the great one-player action games like "Ninja Gaiden" and "Devil May Cry," with crazy combos, an array of powers, and exhilarating gameplay that will knock the wind out of you. Unfortunately, it also falls into the same pitfalls one-player action games have for years. Terribly linear levels, mindless button mashing, disappointing camera: "Unleashed" suffers from all these things.

There are other aspects that keep it from reaching the level of "Gaiden" and "DMC." Your character moves as if he's encased in carbonite - not something you want from an action game, where pace of combat is essential. Once your character is in motion, though, he must complete his animation before executing the next move, so if you miss, prepare to get hit a few times as you continue to swing at air. And when you are hit and get thrown to the ground, the enemies will continue to punish you, unfairly depleting your health bar while you struggle to get back up.

Fortunately, you aren't unarmed against these cheating foes. As advertised, the force really is unleashed here. From force lightning to picking up and tossing storm troopers with your force grip, your powers are amazing to watch and perform. When you take on larger enemies, you must finish them off with simple button pressing mini-games. These fights are extremely satisfying as you see the full power of your character.

Where the force succeeds, the plot fails. You play as Darth Vader's secret apprentice, learning the ways of the force until you are able to overthrow the Emperor. The story twists, and I won't ruin it for you, but it's not anything as epic as the movies. This is a real downer because the game got the OK from George Lucas himself to be a part of the Star Wars canon.

But the award for the worst part of "The Force Unleashed" has to go to the clunkiest menu I have ever used. It's Jar Jar bad. You'll dread every time the apprentice levels up, for you will have to go to the awful menu screen and try to upgrade your character. You could watch the entire original trilogy and still be waiting for the menu to load. It alone drops the score of this game down a whole point, that's how bad it truly is.

In spite of the menu, "The Force Unleashed" still offers a great action experience. If you are a Star Wars fan, you'll enjoy the little touches that only a fan could appreciate. The graphics are clean and have a healthy dose of polish applied to them. It offers a good challenge and is by no means easy, even when it isn't cheating you.

With games like "Too Human" screwing up combat by utilizing the right analog stick, it's nice to see a game make good use of button combos. And did I mention it has Jawas? How can you say no to Jawas? Like Vitamin Water, try it.

7.5 out of 10

So that's it, hope you liked 'em. More will definitely come.

Hiya [my editor],

Having just spent most of the afternoon downloading a 51MB trailer with a 56k modem, just so I can get a sneak preview, I thought I might also send you an email expressing my interest in doing anything at all to do with the forthcoming Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy film...

Or I may have to kill myself.

On a slightly less drastic note, have you heard anything about the upcoming film from Besson, starring Jet Li and Bob Hoskins, Bound?

I’d like to do that too.

Cheers,
Sabian.

[081015: The filmwas called Unleashed in Australia, Danny the Dog in other regions]
