This recent development heaps further shame on “The Conversationalist," whose failure stands out more than ever before. I now understand that "The Conversationalist" is my ugliest, dumbest child. Not only has it not been published, but it robbed an old lady at gunpoint.

It has embarassed me. What's worse, it has embarassed itself. I take no blame for this failure. I did what I could. My hands are clean.

However, once the primary season ended and the general campaign began, I had the idea that in the end, many cultural demons would have to be slayed for Obama to become president of the United States. He'd have to slay the generational racism of several working class families, which began because businesses used blacks as strike breakers in the early 20th Century.

I knew that the Jewish vote would also have to be convinced that a black man would stand up for them. Same is true of the elderly and Hispanics.

But I also knew that if the McCain campaign found itself on the losing end, the new GOP wouldn't go out the same way Sen. Bob Dole did in 1996, with honor.

And the McCain campaign has definitely taken a turn for the nasty in recent days.

Shouts of "kill him" were recently heard at a GOP rally after Sarah Palin made an erroneous connection between Obama and a Chicago activist and teacher, who admittedly set off bombs at government facilities. Warm-ups for McCain and Palin are often heard emphasizing Obama's middle name, Hussein, in attempts to paint the future president as a Muslim, which, if you ask me, seems to be an accepted bigotry for those on the right.

Then there's John McCain calling Obama, "that one." Now, maybe I'm reading into this a bit much, but when someone calls an equal, which is what the two candidates are, "that one," it shows strong disdain. Add to that McCain's racist past, and his refusal to correct any of his surrogates blatantly racist comments (one said "let them have their Tiger Woods") and "that one" can be seen as one step away from "that boy."

It's going to get uglier. And the ugliness will come from one side. I'm just glad it's not from mine.

In the end, I'm hopeful that an Obama presidency will strip away much of the remaining racism in our country and will give us greater hope for a more unified nation.

This nightmare of a statue certainly re-inforces everything I've always thought about soccer players. Now I'm not saying that soccer is a gay sport, but it's a predominantly European sport, and Europeans are predominantly gay. So if you're interested in soccer, promiscuous little boys or crappy statues, this one is for you!

At a Republican rally today in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, the GOP chairman of Lehigh County, Bill Platt, spoke to the crowd prior to appearances by Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin. Twice during his rhetoric, he referred to McCain's challenger by his full name, Barack Hussein Obama, in a disparaging manner, igniting hostility from the crowd. This is not the first time this week the tactic was used; on Monday, a Florida sheriff speaking at a rally prior to an appearance by Gov. Palin declared, "on November 4th, let's leave Barack Hussein Obama wondering what happened."

The incidents are reflective of the turn the McCain campaign has taken in the past few days. Rallies have seen more and more open hostility and, in some cases, threatening epithets from the gathered crowds. Aside from speakers using Sen. Obama's middle name in an insulting manner, audible shouts from recent crowds have included "terrorist!" and "treason!" and even "kill him!" when the Senator's name has come up in discussion. While the McCain campaign has derided the remarks, one can only wonder the veracity of this because the campaign has made no attempts to quell the outright verbal abuse being levied at the Democratic candidate.

Frankly, this turn of events should frighten not just Democratic supporters, but both parties as well. Where is the line drawn when hard-nosed campaigning becomes potentially dangerous? Is this really good for the country? In my two-and-a-half decades, I can't recall threats so outright as "kill him!" ever being levied towards a presidential candidate. This was heard after Gov. Palin mentioned Sen. Obama's past with former radical, and leader of the Weather Underground, Bill Ayers, declaring that the Senator "pals around with terrorists." (Ayers, now a distinguished professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, was involved in early 1970s Vietnam protest bombings of the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol, to name a few. Sen. Obama's so-called "history" with Ayers? They've both worked in Chicago on education reform, and have spoken a dozen or so times, and not once in years.) When "kill him!" was heard, Palin did nothing to quell it. Talk about distressing.

Meanwhile, the name "Hussein" is Arabic and means "handsome one." Other names meaning "handsome": Raymond and Edmond. Pretty much any name that ends in "-mond." While the Raymonds of the world need not worry that an ill-advised crowd will ferociously boo at the mention of their name, Sen. Obama must deal with repercussions beyond his control. That, however, leaves no excuse for Republican campaign speakers to incite a metaphorical riot with gratuitous negativity.

The presidential race took an ugly turn this week. I think most can agree with Sen. Biden on the issue as well: it's a turn we should not be taking.

Clint Eastwood's new opus, Changeling, starring Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich, opens October 24th and, from the looks of the trailer (playable below), looks incredibly enticing. The tone of the film, a mysterious and provocative hunt for the truth, reminds me of Eastwood's 2003 masterpiece, Mystic River. I must say, while technically fascinating films, the last three from Eastwood (Million Dollar Baby, Flags of Our Fathers and Letters from Iwo Jima) did not slug me in the solar plexus quite as forcefully as the gripping and dark human nature of Mystic River managed to accomplish, so consider me officially excited for this film.

Not sure what's next for us, maybe a few dungeons for gear before Wrath. I'll write a whole blog on that sometime soon I think. I'm a planner, it's what I do. The plans never happen, but I plan. Don't ask.

I'm Canadian (for all you Americans, that's the big chunk of land to your north, inhabited by eskimos and moose) and throughout my travels I've met many of the stereo-typical "ugly Americans". I've also met many wonderful Americans, don't get me wrong, nor is this confined to any country really, I've met my fair share of Canadian jerks too. Anyway, my point is that they're not confined to the real world and we met one last night. Let me give you some background. We're doing the "Capture the Weapons" in Shadowmoon valley. We down the first level 68 elite and then proceed to attack and kill the level 69 elite, with a little help from a hunter nearby. Turn in and head for Eclipse Point and realise that one of us hasn't looted one of the weapons, doh! Coincidentally, within minutes a general chat pops up for help with the quest. Bonus, we group up with the guy.

It starts immediately... "Let's go! Are you guys gonna hearth here? Are you close? Follow me! I know the way!" Now, we have similar toon names but we're not related, we've never met and we don't have intimate knowledge of each other, we just play together. He notices our names "Are you guys related? Are you brother and sister? Are you married? Are you dating? Where are you from?" By this time we're fighting a frakking level 68 elite, hello! Anyway, we down it, thank him and prepare to head out.... but no.... "Hey, can you help me with a quest? What are you doing now? Can I come? What's better.... (links two items)?" OMG! Well the biggest downfall to us both is we're too nice with idiots. We tell him where we're headed and off we go, pick up quests, go see the ghost guy for the Gorefiend quests, do the first two of those "Let's do the next one", "It's on Netherwing ledge, we need a flying mount", "Oh,that's gay". Gah! We try the big doggie, it owns us (mainly due to his pet, a netherray, being the worst pet in the world and totally unable to hold aggro), so we go and do the diemetradon one and then tablets as it's close. Whenever we pull 2 or 3 mobs my friend and I end up doing all the fighting while hunter-boy is off getting the tablets. I have 3 and my friend 1 when he announces "I gotta go guys, seeya", oddly enough, he has all his tablets. Jerk.

Lastly, I wanna give a huge shout out to my wonderful wife for putting up with my two-year addiction to this silly game. Luckily she knew I had an addictive personality beforehand, lol. Anyway, work has been very stressful as an 18 month project of mine goes live tomorrow and immersing myself in another world helps me handle that stress, so I thank her with all my heart. I love you honey.

I have a huge groundhog digging interconnecting tunnels throughout my barn. It's not the first time. I have been successful in the past by putting an apple in the alleyway and then sneaking down with my shotgun and blasting her. This year, even though I am using Daniel Boone tactics, I have not been able to get a shot before she scurries into her hole(s).

I am trying a new method. One that was successful in trapping a fox. I put the apple in the trap this morning, but so far, no luck. When I trapped the fox I used dog food, and then took him far away to turn him loose. Not the groundhog! I hate those things as they are very destructive plus being very ugly.

If I can't get her before she hibernates, I will have several more to deal with this spring.

Man's insatiable need for dormatory shower curtains fortold the end of this dignified animal. One by one, they've been hunted nearly to extinction; their pelts used to keep poor college students from having un-entertaining bathroom decor. On a more tragic and pragmatic note, this purportedly "Heavyweight" curtain is about as thick as rice paper, and slightlyless water-resistent. It's almost completely transparent and the gets torn if you look at it funny.

For a better solution to your shower curtaining needs, I'd recommend using Kleenex.

First day in my new job went fairly well all considered. The best bit was getting to go home at 3:30pm but being paid till 5pm. Can't complain! So yeah, I'm quite happy with it all at the moment, but no doubt it won't last - either way, since it's only for five weeks.

My mother tells me she's,

"Tried to call eight times now & will try again later"

Now, surely she noted the eight right? Surely I'm not the only one who thinks that is ever so slightly erm...freakzone?

This is what she does. She'll call my mobile & if she doesn't get an answer, she'll call the house, then my mobile, then the house, then my mobile, mobile, mobile, mobile.

During my last therapy session, August of last year, I was somewhat delighted to have her try to contact me, just so I could show my therapist exactly what I have to deal with.

Thirty missed calls & that was on my cell alone.

It's fucking rich to have her hounding me on the phone whilst she's sat sunning her ass. Never mind that I was up at 6am this morning to go work. So yeah, she may well have phoned me 8 times but I was working & actually, I only recieved two notifications that she had phoned.

Besides, surely if you're psycho-phoning someone, you'd at least have the ability to leave a fucking voicemail?? Something she evidently doesn't think is necessary.

"Wasn't wearing any make-up & looked drab."

What, because I don't dye my hair blond & put makeup on with a trowel?

So not only does she think those things about her own daughter, says those things out right to her face but she also writes it all down. I must really have looked like shit that day I tell you.

I have finally managed to get my hands on to Bounce Voyage (THE FULL GAMEPLAY!), an all new version of earlier Bounce It's got cute cartoon characters and can really become an addiction across age groups!

On his journey he passes through obstacles, bursting pink/yellow balloons and de-hypnotizing the creatures. As he moves on he saves a rescued duck and in return he gets a kiss which gives him the power to change shape to a rock. With this power the Bouncing ball can now break heavy crystals into pieces. Now with more powers the cute red bouncing ball is ready to rescue.

LEVELS

Its a 20 level game with 180 balloons to burst providing you the points and three Arena Levels to give you the opportunity to score more. These levels have time limitation where in you have to collect as many golden coins as you can in one minute. One of the level uses the canyon and the other high speed.

These levels have all the elements of color, fun and adventure. The Cartoon look to the game familiarizes with the evergreen Mario. There is high speed action, puzzles to solve and carefully hidden tracks.

Some levels are fast while some requires you to stop and think a little. Beautifully animated and very well scripted flow of the game, forces you to play it all day long. There comes a few exciting moments which raises tension at the same time the funny ping pong sound effects ease it down.

SOUND EFFECTS & GRAPHICS

The game has a beautiful environment with neatly crafted boundaries. Color combination, speed and the cute face of bouncy ball adds the fun element.

Sound effects add the final touches to the game. It's great, there's a lovely soundtrack that starts out jolly and gets darker towards the end of the game.  The sound effects are good too, with a variety of noises for the different ball types and some amusing things thrown in here and there (such as the clucking that the giant cube birds make when you step on them).

It's one of the best N-Gage titles I have every played.

She is the victim of someone I truly hate. Me...hate? Yeah, it's that bad LOL.

She allowed me into her life through reading her journal, there I found her goals and dreams...fears and despair. I wanted to get to know this person...and I found out that we have SO much in common, that it's scary. (I too, am in love with OWEN WILSON and ANDERSON COOPER)!!! What makes me so sad is, I also got to know more about RR.

I read through her journal hoping that I would find some piece of evidence that RR was fucked up in the head. Sure enough, it made me want to cry.

Dates, times, blogs...I closed my eyes, fearing that I will cry again. I keep repeating to myself...you have done nothing wrong, you are a victim of his fears.

From the very BEGINNING....was just a pawn.

How did I ever get into this mess? Was I looking for friendship and/or love in the wrong place? Am I so understanding and compassionate that I was blinded by his hatred for life? I truly accepted him and liked him for who I thought he was. Our differences should have complemented each other beautifully, and I was infatuated. 

The months and dates are imprinted into my head. To think, May was my birthday! This is when I met him, right when I turned 24! I even told him...I think you are my birthday gift...I want you to help me grow into a better person. He took me to the same places he had taken her just a few months before...Solvang? SF? Our get away spots? It makes me sick to my stomach. I want to throw up.

I needed this C, I want to thank you so much for letting me, a stranger into your life. I would never judge you and I find that you're such a beautiful person, and you remind me of myself. I hope this is an eye opener for you and how cruel this person has been to both you and I. You have made me more aware and confident in myself. Who would have thought that you would be the one that help me grow stronger? Life works in funny ways. We both suffered physical and mental pain. His sick game includes tallying up how many times you will come running back to him. In his head he has already listed the ways he can hurt you, to see how far you will go until you never look back. How much longer will you take this? He is laughing at your expense. It's been a running joke. CAN YOU REALLY LOVE A PERSON LIKE THIS? ARE YOU FOR REAL?

As a new friend, I refuse to see you get hurt. We can find each other in the dark. Sometimes the most beautiful things can grow out of something ugly.

A big part of him has died long time ago. He is handicap. Emotionally unavailable.
He is so pathetic. He can't even love himself. He needs help.

This is so ridiculous, that I have to keep this blog entry, I need a good laugh a few months from now. In all honesty, this actually makes me feel better that...there are some people out there with HUGE problems.

I am speechless. I am wide-eyed. I am no longer numb. I am finally free.

I got up late...not quite really...had breakfast at 2.30 in the afternoon

Went to my friends...forced them to take a bath so that we could finally go for lunch as my breakfast was toooooooo lite. after a lot of nagging and dragging, when all those lazy lumps got ready, we went to KP after what seemed like ages...lunched at German bakery. the Chocolate dough nut was awesome to say the least and so was the mushroom omlette with the the toast...I just tried and ignored the amount of butter they served as it was pinching me down with guilt spreading it so generously on my bread.

I finally went to the famous OSHO park with my BF. It is a pretty little romantic place for couples but because of my boyfriend's great quality of being Shy, he wouldn't even look at me as he felt most of the singles out there were waiting for us to do some couple thing which they could enjoy visually. We just sat there for around 20 minutes when our friends gave us a call saying that they were going back home after buying a shisha as mochas was more than overcrowded. I was really reluctant to leave as I had barely started enjoying the place but my boyfriend was definitely the happiest person on earth that time, to say the least.

As me and my boyfriend are not into smoking, drinking and shisha, we decided to give my unsatisfied shopping life another try...and it was a success!!!! yeah!!!!!!! I bought a 4GB sandisk pendrive for INR 529, a much needed wallet...two kurtis, one churidar. The whole thing took around 2 to 2 n a half hours I felt truly amazed and felt utterly blessed at my boyfriend's patience...thanks a ton sweetie!

And finally I was lucky enough to convince the person from whom I had bought an ugly wallet out an earlier day out of a desperate need for a wallet to exchange it for a few trinkets.

Only the ending to the day could have been a bit better but then I guess you you cant have everything at one go right????
