So today, just a doujin I grabbed some time ago off Gaku Gaku Animal Land, Ciel vs. Mech Ciel.

Art's a little too distorted for my tastes, but it doesn't detract from the humor.

Originally created by Kohaku to defeat Ciel and stop her invasions of the mansion, with Sion's aid via her use of the Night of Warachia's powers, Mech Ciel is given form!

However, Kohaku in her "genius" modelled it after Ciel, and the two become united for 10 minutes over the love of curry, and mortal enemies later.

Of course, in all history no copy is ever a good as the original, especially when it comes to Tohno-Kun's love.

Now if only Arcuied was safe from "Perfect Arcuied"

Thanks to the people of Gaku Gaku Animal Land, Beast's Lair and Snoopycool, you made my day ehehe.

Type-Moon Complex is a doujinshi created by the group Crazy Clover Club. I'm assuming that they're a group that participates in Comiket, as the release of their doujinshi always closely follow the dates of Comiket. Anyway, the story features characters from both of Type-Moon's major productions - Project Fate and Project Tsukihime. The time period of this story takes place some time after the events of Fate/Hollow Ataraxia (Caren has replaces Kirei as the priest(ess) of the church. Caren doesn't wear pants/skirt and no one likes Kirei, so it's all good ^^;).

Now, I've seen SumiSora's Chinese sub of Fate/Stay Night and I'm currently playing through the scenarios again with their voice patch (and yet to play Fate/Hollow for obvious reasons). The problem for me is the other side. I've seen Tsukihime the anime (which severely lacks information) and have yet to play the game.  So I don't know things like the true strength of Arcueid and how Shiki's Mystic Eyes of Death Perception works. That and I think Ciel is overpowered...

Anyway, the first two chapters (volumes?) were phenomenal. Although I do think the Tsukihime characters are overpowered. The third volume, in my opinion, is lackstellar. However, the author forsaw this and included an explaination/apology.

This is the third volume of the doujinshi featuring the combination of Tsukihime and Fate.

This doujinshi uses Tsukihime and the PC version of Fate/Stay Night as prequals, and its events take place in the world after the events of Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. There might be minor discreptencies, so please don't nitpick.

As this is a continued piece of work, I would assume that those who did not read the previous works may find the events confusing and weird (^^;).

I'm very sorry.

With many personal business to take care of, this volume is very short.

As well, I did feature the location where Nero-san (took me a while to make that connection >.<) appeared...On top of that, Main characters of Fate such as Rin and Saber did not appear...The events aren't exciting, so this is one of those peaceful/calm chapters.

Anyway, I've put a hold on the other series and will be putting my efforts into this one. It will be much better next time...Hopefully.

If they really do participate in Comiket, I would recommend buying it from them (I know it's hypocritical for me to say it, but I would have bought it if I could go to Comiket). Regarding the third volume...I thought it was all right (albeit with barely any action). Another thing I don't know about is Bazette's strength, since she is only featured in Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. The names of Tsukihime characters took a bit of time for me to register though (since I watched Fate/Stay Night with Chinese subs).

Come dicono i Fratelli Calafuria (dai quali ho preso la citazione qui sopra), in questo periodo mi sto dedicando al cazzeggio più sfrenato. In teoria stamani ho anche ricominciato a studiare, ma non credo che 3 pagine si possa considerare come un buon inizio XD.

Tra l'altro stamani scopro anche che ho un pacco fermo alla dogana e quindi mi girano le palle più del solito (stupida dogana).

Comunque, sto guardando un bel po' di anime al momento, ma molte serie escono a rilento e altre non escono proprio (Crystal Blaze e Himitsu anyone?), perciò ho deciso di iniziare a recuperare due serie già concluse da tempo: Kino no Tabi e Lucky Star. Il primo mi sta piacendo veramente un sacco, ha un atmosfera fantastica e dei bellissimi personaggi (ma ne parlerò meglio quando avrò finito) mentre il secondo, nonostante appartenga ad un genere che non mi piace molto (quello dei cosidetti slice of life), mi ha catturato per via si alcuni sketch esilaranti e delle protagoniste troppo carine (Konata è un mito, sopratutto cosi suoi discorsi su anime, manga e videogiochi XD).

Ho anche finito Final Fantasy Tactics A2, dopo circa 47 ore e 227 missioni, e adesso pensavo di dedicarmi a Final Fantasy IV (sempre che non ci stiano già giocando quelli della dogana) oppure Megaman Star Force, al quale volevo giocare da un po', pur essendo un titolo abbastanza mediocre. Sono in fremente attesa di Persona 3 FES, e su Wii le bestemmie si sprecano con Resident Evil 4 Wii (ne avevo già tirate tante a suo tempo su GC).

Ho letto Watchmen, fantastica graphic novel, e mi accingo ad iniziare il primo libro della serie di Dexter, anche se rileggere tutta la serie di Jojo mi porta via parecchio tempo. E, se si può considerare una lettura (io la considero tale XD) ho anche ripreso Tsukihime, deciso a finirlo prima di settembre.

Sto anche disegnando un sacco; purtroppo sto facendo tanti disegni tutti insieme quindi prima che ne finisca uno ci metterò un bel po'. Date comunqe un occhio alla mia pagina su DeviantArt per vedere gli ultimi inseriti. Spero di riuscire a completarne altri a breve.

The current anime summer season is rather slow for me. There are just some few shows I'm following at the moment and practically none especially enthusiastic, but this gave and still gives me enough free time to finally play through the Tsukihime franchise I could collect over the past one and a half year (later was'nt an easy task for sure if one can't/don't want to spend too much money on this). In the end I got Tsukihime, Tsukihime Plus-Disk, Kagetsu Tohya and Melty Blood ReAct, which hopefully are all Tsukihime games one can collect as for today (at least these are the ones I've found English patches for, many thanks to MirrorMoon and Beast's Lair by the way).

So far I'm through the first three games and I'm sure impressed by them. Each arc is touching on its own, but the later ones about the Tohno family are really great. This lets me understand now why so many people were rather disappointed about the anime that followed mostly Arcueids arc (but with the practical non-existence of the "main" heroine Arcueid in the later arcs there was not so much choice for the producers I guess). Of course, being an eroge, each heroine falls for the protagonist and finds a way to get laid, but that's just a small cliché price to pay, doesn't take very much time within whole story and with the patches comes the nice option to turn this sexual content off if desired. Finally, after the mostly serious Tsukihime the parodic Plus-Disk, the half-parodic Kagetsu Tohya and the translators (in some easter-eggs) twist a lot with the tragedy-loaded characters which is really a lot of fun to read and watch.

For the obligatory rating, I'd said Hisui > Ciel > Arcueid > Kohaku > Akiha, whereat Ciel scored many points later in the parodic games through her constantly breaking of the fourth wall whining about the popularity polls she lost and how the budget for her got cut short because nobody would care.

So, with Melty Blood being the last game to play now and also being a fighting game I'll finally have a chance to prove my mad fighting skillz again. I remember myself to be pretty good at playing Mortal Kombat 4, those were the days...

...okay, maybe I wasn't even decent, but at least I had made my own soundtrack CD to which losing didn't felt that, uh, humiliating.

Nem vagyok Tsukihime fan, sőt, egyáltalán semmilyen fan, mert egyik előzménysztorit se ismerem, de az egyetemen megtanítják, hogy az ismeretlen információkat hogyan kezeljük ismert tényként és rakjunk oda egy könyvjelzőt, hogy aztán később az ismert infó tudatában visszanézve utólag kitöltsük, szóval nem zavar, hogy az egészből nem értek szart se, csak azt, hogy ugrál, vagdos, és a bábkezével Elfen Lied kinézetű telekinézist használ. Blablabla. Zene szép, hangulat ötös, grafika egy vizuális orgazmus, kellően véres, kellően komoly, de...

...de nem jön be. Nem tetszik se a stílusa, se a hangulata, se az összkép, szóval tökmindegy, hogy min alapul és miért. Szép, jó, eredeti, ügyes iparosmunka, de nem az esetem. Nem fogott meg. Az a vital-vonal látás vagy mi, aminek a segítségével a főhős ezeket átvágva bármit könnyedén elpusztíthat (ha jól vettem ki a funkciójából) is egy jó ötlet volt, az tetszett, de kb ennyi a pro a kontra mellett. Nem jönnek be se a karakterek, se a helyzet, se a hangulat. Jó volt nézni, de nem kötött le, és habár nem mondom, hogy untam, de egy csepp késztetést se érzek arra, hogy megnézzem a következő részt. Ennyi... 

Nézzétek meg, ha másért nem, a vizuális orgazmus kedvéért mindenképpen megéri. Lehet, hogy valakinek bejön a hangulata is, ki tudja, nem vagyunk egyformák. Tegyetek egy próbát, nem mondom, hogy szar... de nem ígérek semmit. Nekem egy kicsit túl in medias res sztorinak tűnt, ami nem baj, de azért ennek a stílusnak is van egy határa...

Réteganime.... valószínűleg azoknak akik fanjai az írónak, vagy az író más történeteinek. Mások számára csak egy érthetetlen katyvalag bámulatos grafikával és zenével. Ha egy kib****tul GAR vörös-kabátos-kék-kimono-s tomboy jellemű csajt akartok látni az elsőben rohangálva és egy késsel egyvágásból szellemeket gyilkolva epikus zene és szemrobbantó grafika társaságában, akkor egyszer mindenképpen nézzétek meg. Tetemes háttérinfó ismerete nélkül másért nem érdemes...

Azért egy 7/10-et megérdemel, ebből -2 pont csak azért volt, mert akinek foggalma sincs az előzményekről az nem ért semmit. Nem mindenki olyan apatikus ezzel szemben mint én.....

Akiha Tohno: Es la hechicera de mayor alcance y anula cualquier daño por debajo de los 4000, lo que es verdaderamente efectiva para ponerla en el frente. La pega es que a Akiha no se le da bien acertar y que habría que posicionarla un turno, luego atacar el siguiente turno o reposicionarla, lo que reduce bastante su efectividad y hace que su habilidad principal no sea tan útil.

Ciel: Me he llevado una sorpresa con ella. Pensaba que destacaría por superágil, en cambio no destaca absolutamente en nada. Pero aún así, es un gran personaje porque es probablemente la más versátil del juego. ¿Quieres un tanque? Ciel puede cubrir esa necesidad. ¿Quieres un personaje ágil? Ciel puede cubirr esa necesidad. ¿Quieres un personaje autosuficiente? Ciel y su regeneración lo puede cubrir. Además, la Séptima Escritura Sagrada puede ocasionar un daño bastante alto.

Caren Ortensia: Caren Ortensia es la puta ama. Tiene un SP bastante alto y técnicas de dope y cura. Pero algo que destaca en ella de otras curanderas es que tiene un ataque bastante bueno con buen porcentaje de aciertos y buen daño. Por cierto, con Caren Ortensia JAMÁS he fallado un ataque y es el único personaje con que he acertado con una probabilidad del 9% y mira que la suelo usar para atacar.
Valoración: A

Haruna Mochizuki: Original de Werk, para el soporte de ataque es bueno. Es ágil, pero no tanto y si la golpean probablemente muera. Aún así, vale la pena usarla, ya que hace un daño decente y rara vez falla.

Hisui: Es un buen personaje para rematar enemigos a distancia con el "El culpable eres tú". Es un personaje muy de retarguardia, con lo que no tiene mucha más utilidad.
Valoración: C

Kohaku: Clásica curandera que dopa, pero no sirve para atacar. Aunque tiene una buena agilidad que la compensa por si es objetivo de ataque enemigo, pero si la golpean, seguramente muera. Afortunadamente, no suele ser objetivo enemigo.
Valoración: C

Lancer: Lancer es un gran personaje. Tiene bastante alcance, hace bastante daño, tiene buena puntería y es increíblemente ágil. Usando Focus cada turno, puedes limpiar pantallas tranquilamente con él, ya que encima es un objetivo predilecto de la CPU, lo que hace de él un aliado muy útil en batalla. Y para rematar, en caso de que reciba algún golpe (que es bastante difícil) y muera (que tb es difícil) volverá a la batalla con 10 de vida.

Phantasmoon: La Arcueid versión Magical girl es peligrosa. Hace bastante daño y es bastante autosuficiente. Usando sus SP se vuelve prácticamente invencible y dañina, además de que puede atacar tanto a distancia como pegado al enemigo. Otro personaje a tener en cuenta.

Len: Poca utilidad la veo salvo como curandera amateur, ya que regenera 10 de SP cada turno. Aparte de eso, es bastante débil y sus ataques simplemente se usan para joder de cerca (con lo que hay mucho riesgo de contraataque). Para colmo, para ser un personaje bastante ágil, la golpean como si nada o_o y no es que tenga una gran defensa precisamente.

Rider: Sólo se ha podido usarse en un mapa, que encima no lo llega a terminar, con lo que tiene una valoración de "?" por falta de información.

Rin Tohsaka: La segunda hechicera. Tiene puntería y agilidad, pero le falta un poco de potencia y de alcance, aunque gana puntos por lo de "atacar y mover" que es indispensable para alguien como ella. Es buena opción, aunque eso de que camine 4 pasos...

Saber: Es la puta ama. Tiene puntería, cierta agilidad, mucha defensa y hace bastante daño. Puede resistir unos cuantos asaltos y resta 1000 de daño a todos los ataques mágicos. Buen movimiento y objetivo predilecto de la CPU. Es toda una tanque armada y encima ella cuenta con Excalibur que puede reventar jefes en pocos turnos. Una de mis favoritas.

Sakura Matou: Otra hechicera, pero con la puntería de Akiha. Funciona bastante bien como personaje de soporte, tanto de ataque como de defensa, pero poco más. También puede usarse para rematar enemigos.

Shiki Tohno: No sabría dónde colocarle, ya que a veces es una pieza fundamental, pero otras veces es un estorbo. Es bastante ágil y cuenta con buena puntería, pero cuando le dan, le dan a base de bien y suele ser Game Over cuando muere, con que le resta puntos. Eso si, hace daño, pero no puede ir solo y menos sin usar Focus cada turno, ya que de todos los objetivos favoritos de la CPU, él es el primero a por el que van.

Shirou Emiya: Es un inútil en toda regla. Hace poco daño (o nada) tiene mala puntería, poca vida, poca agilidad, defensa casi nula, objetivo predilecto de la CPU... continúo?

Takumi Atsuta: También original de Werk. Un gran tanque. Tiene una defensa asombrosa y un daño bastante alto. Su única pega es que sus ataques gastan mucha Energía con lo que en los combates largos tendrá turnos en que apenas atacará, aunque con su defensa de hierro y ser un objetivo predilecto de la CPU, compensa con creces esto. Él sumado con un curandero, es invencible.

Vaya, y creía haber decidido no volver a postear nunca más luego de que fracaso un video (no creo que guste mucho ni siquiera entre la comunidad doomera... por eso no lo he posteado) y sobretodo que no quiero hablar de Doom porque no he querido volver a jugarlo... mucho lag y creo que estoy sin clan (al menos uno activo, no como ABC que yo creo que ya hace tiempo lo debi dar por muerto... uf)

Bueno, no estoy para hablar de eso... en este post quiero hablar más de un juego que me ha gustado mucho, Melty Blood.

Melty Blood es un juego de peleas 2D, desarrollado por Type-Moon y French-bread (el primer Melty Blood, Re-ACT y Re-ACT Final Tuned) y Ecole (Melty Blood: Act Cadenza). El juego es un spin-off de la novela visual Tsukihime.

¿Y que me ha gustado de este juego? Pues lo típico que me gusta de los juegos, que es rápido y tiene una jugabilidad bastante fluida. Lastima si que no pueda compararlo con otros juegos de peleas ya que no conozco muchos, los últimos que recuerdo son los Mortal Kombat y Street Fighter de Snes y esos eran muy lentos comparados con otros de ahora y jugue un par de veces en el Pc y en en el Playstation de un amigo SNK vs Capcom o algún otro similar, pero más que eso nada.

Quizas otra cosa que me gusta, es la simpleza de los botones, teniendo que usar solo 4 botones, de los cuales 3 son golpes (débil, medio y fuerte) y el otro es un escudo (Parry). Hay más botones, pero son combinaciones de los anteriores supongo que para evitar el bloqueo del teclado al presionar muchas teclas.

Este juego decidí jugarlo más que nada porque en su momento me puse a jugar un MUGEN que me encontre por allí y que tenía hartos personajes, incluidos algunos de Melty Blood como Ciel, Warcueid, Shiki, Hisui, Kohaku, Satsuki y Warakia, y como sus habilidades me parecieron algo distintas a la de otros juegos de pelea que había podido jugar pues decidí indagar más y descargar el Melty Blood Act Cadenza en un torrent que encontre en Mininova. Así que se los recomiendo.

I really want to finish it off with this one, which is my favorite part of the OP for some odd reason.  It will be incredibly difficult just because of the amount of detail, and I think I might have more luck just redrawing it instead...

Apreta F5 para que Kohaku diga otra cosa.

Ya tardaba en jugar al juego, aunque realmente conocía el juego de hace al menos año y medio. Por qué he esperado tanto para jugarlo? Una palabra: Idioma. A pesar de que ya lo había jugado en Japonés hasta el Acto 1, pues actualmente me lo estoy tomando más en serio. Por qué? Porque ahora puedo entender la historia del juego.

Quienes me conocen saben que si hay algo que adoro mucho son los RPGs Tácticos. También saben que adoro el universo Type-Moon. Así que qué ocurre cuando fusionamos ambas cosas? Pues que me fliparía enormemente. Pues exactamente eso es Battle Moon Wars: Un RPG Táctico con personajes de Type-Moon (Tsukihime, Kara no Kyoukai, Melty Blood, Fate Stay Night...) Quienes hayan jugado a Super Robot Wars, os serán muy familiares el sistema de juego y los cameos (ya que está basado en este juego)

Volviendo al tema del juego, quizás es el juego Doujin más popular de Type-Moon realizado por otro grupo de desarrolladores. Este grupo es Werk y para ser su primer trabajo, ha dado en el clavo. Capta bastante bien la personalidad de los personajes, sino que encima les da un sentido a la historia del juego (teniendo en cuenta que los crossovers, que habitualmente no se curran mucho las historias [por qué estoy pensando en la saga Super Smash Bros...? XD]) aunque todavía es pronto para opinar XD pero admito que el producto me está enganchando lo suyo.

El juego es relativamente sencillo, aunque las probabilidades en este juego me odian (el enemigo me ha golpeado a 11% de posibilidades de daño, y yo he fallado en un 96% y ha pasado varias veces). Pero de todas formas considero bastante imprescindible contar con buena puntería y buena evasión más que nada y por supuesto los personajes más útiles son los que cuentan con ello.

Sobre personajes, Takumi (original de Werk) es un tanke mientras que Haruna es bastante débil, aunque cuenta con mucha evasión. Luego de personajes de Type-Moon los que más uso son Shiki Tohno (ágil y puede aguantar un par de asaltos) Saber (defensa alta, ataque alto y con una buena probabilidad de golpear, es una cheta absoluta XD) Kohaku (cura y dopa) y Rin (tiene bastante buena evasión y puede moverse tras atacar, lo que compensa su condición de hechicera). Hay otros que tb merecen la pena, pero que tienen un defecto grave como Akiha que encima de mala puntería, es muy lenta y no puede moverse y atacar (aunque ignora cualquier golpe por debajo de 4000 de daño, lo que ella es la reina de la defensa absoluta)

Bastante recomendable el juego para aquél que adore el RPG y el universo Type-Moon. Para aquellos que quieran el juego, decir que por ahora consta de 3 actos (en agosto sacarán el cuarto acto) y que hacen falta los 3 actos actualizados para instalar el parche que lo traduce al inglés.
