I hope not. Anyway, this is (as I've said before) way too much to start watching it all, but I'll check out at least a few more of them and I will of course leave a few words for each of them. Until then, don't start more than you can handle! :)

I've made a mistake somewhere but my brain was too fuzzy last night to work out where, so I chilled out and watched NCIS and didn't do anymore stitching, otherwise I think he would have been finished.

My sister in law gave me some plants from the garden at FILs house.

Finances are making it problematic to get anything done with the plants currently living in the girls wading pool.

I need to buy a large plant pot for the lillies and some potting mix. But got no $'s. The lillies are apparently part of a plant that came over from England with some great great ancestor type person. So maybe it would be okay to push the credit card a little further into debt.

The spider plants I want to put into the garden itself as I think they'd cover the retaining wall nicely but its been almost a year since the gardener was here and I don't do garden maintenance anymore - heck I don't even do watering, everything survives without attention.

Currently our garden is a little bit of a mess and needs a clean up. Unfortunatly I've lost the gardeners phone number so a little detective work is required today.

Well last weekend I decided to head out Saturday morning to photography something after I missed the nice sunset Friday afternoon. Hadn’t really planned anything so decided to head somewhere close by the only place I could think of I wanted to reshoot was the Old Swan Brewery.
This is a bit of cliché photography of the building but still think it’s the best composition you can get with it and like the Perth Skyline in the background plus the building get nice glows of sun of the side of the them . As I arrived at the Old Swan Brwery the bottoms as the clouds were starting to turn red and I thought I would be in for a good sunrise, but in the end the colors sort of fizzled out to an average sunrise. While I was shooting I bumped into Luke Austin http://lukeaustin.wordpress.com/ after the swan brewery we head down the road to get some shot of the boat house but by the time I got there the sun had risen to high and didn’t get anything worth keeping .
This was an 8 image stitch.

Went out scouting locations with Jamie http://jamiepatersonphotography.wordpress.com/ and Neil http://spoolphotography.wordpress.com/ this morning. After not having much luck with getting any good shots this week or the last couple due to bad light I was keen to get something I could work on .

After driving through thick fog for about an hour , the sun just starting to rise we found this nice field. We stop on the side of the road and got out set up to take a few shots , I quickly snapped one set of images for a panorama when next thing a prison warden pulls up in his car and advised us that we couldn’t take photos here as it was part of the prison land . So we had to pack up and head off.

Would have like to had a more time shoting there as I would like a slightly better composition plus and the sun and fog look really good just as we leaving . This was an 8 image stitch ..

Remember this simple little quilt I made last year to show my publisher what sort of stuff I wanted to create for my book about stitching in recycled/ vintage fabric…? Anyway, this faded-blue, little quilt has just made its entrance at a quilt competition I found here (...Alicia´s one of the judges!)

Inspired by an old paperweight, french knots were used for all the decorative surfaces, and were also used to sew darts to obtain the dome shape and to attach the dome to the flat base. Added french knot tubular appendages created the textured surface, which, as Susan says, calls out to be touched, felt and squeezed.

Fishbone Stitch: Here's a good stitch to start with, when it comes to filling smaller shapes such as leaves and flower petals. The advantage of fishbone stitch is that it really looks like a leaf when complet, and you don't have to do anything "extra" to add, for example, the spine down the middle of the leaf. If you want a perfectly smooth leaf, though, you would use satin stitch instead of fishbone. The trick to a good fishbone stitched leaf is to draw a line in the middle of the leaf shape to use as a guide. You want to keep your edges smooth, too.
Direction: Begin at the tip of the shape, coming up at A. Make a longish straight stitch straight down, following the center line marked in the leaf. Come up at B, and then slant your stitch to cross over the base of the straight stitch, just to the other side of your center line. Come up at C, and go down just on the other side of the center line, crossing over the tip of the previous stitch you just made. Note that the stitches take turns crossing over each other at the center line. They do not enter the fabric "on the line" - rather, just to the other side of the line. In this manner, the stitches overlap each other, all the way down the shape, giving the shape that "woven" look, creating the "spine" down the middle. Keep your stitches close together - you want to cover the area solidly.

Flat Stitch: This is a lot like the fishbone stitch, but instead of stitching over one center line, you draw two lines just off the center, and take your needle down on either one of them. The flat stitch is also known as the Croatian stitch or the Croatian flat stitch. Again, it solidly fills a shape, forming an overlap in your stitches so that a kind of spine runs down th emiddle of the shape. Once executed, it looks almost identical to the fishbone, except it doesn't come to a point. Flat stitch is a good way to fill in circular flower petals.
Direction: Again, with this stitch, you're going to be working slightly slanted stitches. Come up at A, go down at B, up at C, cross over the stitch you made when you went down at B, and go down at D. Keep your stitches close together, creating a solid filling. Make certain your edges are kept smooth by following the outline carefully, and taking up very little fabric between stitches."

After missing out on a great sunset this afternoon , as I was driving home from the way from work . At least Jamie http://jamiepatersonphotography.wordpress.com/ was out capturing it  . Thought I would go through some more old shots from when I went down to Dunsbrough for Christian Fletchers http://christianfletcher.wordpress.com/ course back in April . There is so much to shot down there still got about 10 gigs more worth of images to go through from that long weekend .

This was an 8 image stitch of Yallingup Beach , just love the rocky beachs down south , they make a such a really interesting subject compared to the normally sandy with beachs around Perth .

Well I haven't been out shooting for a week now , as been run down with the flue, but still managed to make it to work each day  . Thought I better upload something in the mean time  , seen as every one else has been busy uploading photos recently.

This was an old shot from a couple of months ago when Neal http://spoolphotography.wordpress.com/ and I went for a drive to scout out some locations . Went through a tank of fuel on the day but found some really good locations so it was worth it .

This was a 3 image vertical stitch , Got a version with an unedit sky as well but i like the contrast clash with the black sky on this one . still got a lot more of the conola and lupin field i still havent stitched together yet

Well this weekend gone was a pretty dull weekend for new photos. Meet up with Jamie Saturday morning hoping to get some shots of Costello , but it was pretty bad conditions for photographing , the wind was blowing a gale and there were various showers about plus the beach was been pounded by the surf . So we diced to pack it in and try again for another time. Kept a close watch on the light and weather for the rest of the weekend but looked pretty grey and not much nice light by the looks. Hope you guys down south had better luck.

I’m still going through all my RAW images at the moment and having a relook at photos I may have gone over before. This one was again at Castle Rock Bay in Dunsbrough. Took this one the following day of Christian Fletchers course. Was an 8 image stitch.

It's one of those shows where I have to watch it because of the seiyuus. The seiyuus include:

Battle Spirits: Shounen Toppa Version

I want to try this one out (yes, I know it has to do with cards) because of the character designs (which remind me of Powerpuff Girls Z and, by the way, they both are produced by Toei Animation) and... just because I wanted to try it.

This one has also aired already (9/07), but no subs have some out yet.

Clannad ~After Story~

I loved the 1st season, so I can't wait for more. ^^ Hee hee, can't wait for more of Nagisa and Tomoya. >.<

The summary on AniDB says that Nagisa is hiding a secret from Tomoya that will change their lives forever. ...What could that be? I... have no idea.

Shigofumi OVA

I saw the series and it was amazing. Really awesome. Though, I have no idea of what the OVA is going to be about.

Ueda Kana (Midori - Telepathy Girl Ran; Honami - Rental Magica) plays Fumika and Matsuoka Yuki (Aiko - Ojamajo Doremi; Orihime - Bleach) plays Kanaka. I'm looking forward to seeing the duo again. ^^

Also, has anyone found the picture dramas? Subs will be really great, but I can watch it Raw also. Not a big deal. I just want to find them.

Hakushaku to Yousei

I was kinda interested in this, but when I found out that Mizuki Nana (Allison - Allison to Lillia; Utau - Shugo Chara) and Miyano Mamoru (Tamaki - Ouran High School Host Club; Death the Kid - Soul Eater) were in this, I knew I most definitely have to watch it. But mostly 'cause of Miyano-kun. >.<

The producer, Artland, has also done Bokura ga Ita... I hated that show. But I watched it 'til the end. Only because I wanted to see what happened in the end. I've done that with 2 other shows that I've hated (Good Witch of the West, Spice and Wolf).

Anyways, Bokura ga Ita is the only anime I've seen from Artland so maybe this will be my 2nd completed series.

I loved the 1st season. Shaft did an amazing job and I can't wait for this season. ^^

I liked the OVAs, so as long as the ecchiness has the same kinda limit as the OVAs, it'll be fine.

And, by the way, this is by the same creator of Minami-ke (which I love).

This one is adapted from a shounen manga that was serialized online.

It has Orikasa Fumiko (Rukia - Bleach; Shirley - Code Geass) in it, so I'll definitely be watching this one.

I don't know much about this one but this seems like an interesting one.

Yozakura Quartet

Another shounen manga and another one that I might like. It has comedy and the story sounds good.

Ono Daisuke (Yukito - Air; Itsuki - Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu) is the only one that stands out to me in the seiyuu list. But he's only playing a supporting character, so that's too bad.

Kannagi

I saw the trailer and I thought it looked really interesting. I also like the character designs.

I'm going to try this one only and only because... my favorite seiyuu in the whole wide world, Fukuyama Jun (Itsuki - Rental Magica; Lelouch - Code Geass), is going to be in this anime.

I think this is as a result of feeling overwhelmed (and slightly hormonal) I feel a Spring....er I mean Autumn clean coming on!

I have just given the chickens a good old mucking out and I think it's time to do the same with my work space.... again.

I love Autumn It's a real time of change and I feel a creative shift coming on.

Things turn in Autumn, colours quickly shift from cool to warm, weather quickly shifts from warm to cool.

It's a funny time and I like it. I like the feeling that there is something in the air.

According to wiki, the anime is going to be an adaptation of the original movie and then spin off series. Thus explaining why Stitch is no longer in Hawaii I guess....

Also surprisingly the show will be replacing Bleach's current broadcast time. But I can't find any info on what's happening to Bleach. Then again I don't watch the Bleach filler arcs so it's not like I have any interest in Season 9 until it's confirmed to be back on track.

Not to much new to post , just going through and sorting out my images on my External hard drive for backing up , taken me a while but now got them all sorted out . I also  found a couple of shots I had done but not uploaded . I think there were all 4 image vertical stitch , of a creek taken from a while ago .

Also giving Windows Live Writer a go for the first time , and have to say its a lot better and easier then using a Internet explore for blogging . Also no Crunching on the images :) .
