Um novo trailer do filme RE: Degeneration foi apresentado no TGS 2008, divulgado pelo site The-Horror . 

Resumo do trailer: 7 ano depois de Raccoon City, Leon Kennedy e Claire Redfield se reencontram para combater o T-virus, que se espalha pelas áreas mais populosas dos Estados Unidos. "O fim de Raccoon City foi só o começo."

Pois é quem acompanha o blog a algum tempo já deve saber que eu era o unico ser humano da terra que não tinha assistido a Eu Sou a Lenda. Bom via ao filme este final de semana. Lógico que gostei e agora farei minhas consideraçoes sobre ele.

Muito boa a historia e a forma como ela foi contada, a neurose do personagem sozinho em uma cidade infestada de seres comedores de carne é muito interessante. O estilo náufrago de vida tambem é interessnte. A melhor cena é quando ele entra dentro do galpão escuro, você não sabe por que ele esta  tão apreenciso e você começa a ficar junto com ele e o som apenas da respiração ofegante cria um clima caustrofóbico muito bom.

A ideia do filme ( se vc ainda não viu, veja, mas agora vou soltar spoilers então NÃO LEIA) é legal. Um filme de zumbis, contágio e vampiros misturados com todo um estilo próprio juntar tudo isso. Muito bom. Adoro o estilo "Lost" de se contar a historia, com flash backs explicativos no meio da historia atual que já esta rolando. Muito melhor do que aquelas explicações ddidáticas sem necessidade. A neurose de alguém ficar sozinho é bem explorado afinal somos um animal que vive em sociedade. Muito legal.  Embora o final bom, seja um pouco forçado o filme é legal.

Mas chega de bajulação, mesmo porque o filme já ta mais que velho. Mas gostaria de salientar que é mais do que provado que os Resident Evils são nada mais que uma (perdoem a expressão) punheta bem batida do diretor para Milla Jovovich. Não tem nada além dela pelada (nada contra ela pelada) e saltando por ai e atirando e destruindo tudo na porrada. Porque não fazer algo como Eu Sou a Lenda com inteligência e uma boa historia de horror? O novo filme do Resident, feito pela própria Capcom, Resident Evil: Degeneration será muito melhor, ambientado em um lugr fechado (um aeroporto) e tem personagens dos games Leon e Clarie).

Enfim gostaria apenas que limpassem a equipe par aum novo filme baseado no Resident 4. Com a equipe atual a Milla Vai enfretar los pragas no dente e Derrotar o El Gigante com o mindinho. Muito triste.

P.S. Eu sempre irei aproveitar oportunidades para demostrar minha aversão aquelas porcarias de filmes

P.S. Quem gostou dos Residents num conhecem as historias dos games. Muito melhores, mais inteligentes e sombrias. O horror é o foco e não tem amenor graça ter zumbis se eles não oferecem perigo. Mila deixa o filme chato pois ela pode resolver tudo, então que graça que tem?

2. So where the hell did this come from?Didn't that look good? I think we can all agree that CG zombie slaughter might actually be able to redeem the RE movie franchise precisely because it looks and feels a lot like the video games do. A lot. A scary lot. If you've played RE4,  you'll be able to clearly recognize the film's male protagonist - despite only seeing him for a split second - because you've already spent 40 hours staring at his back while he raises a pistol.

3. I pray that this will be good. It looks good: I do have one tiny casting beef, though. Who looks more like Max?

Well, whatever. The film probably needed some star power to get off the ground. I am content to raise my hopes high before having the cruelly dashed.

El final me dejó con ganas de saber y si mal no parece, ese monstruo aparece en el opening de Resident Evil dos *recordatorio: Buscarlo para colgarlo*. Sigamos a ver qué más encuentro....

La espera es más corta de lo esperado, ya que CAPCOM llevará a cabo la premiere mundial de su película (100% CG) Resident Evil: Degeneration en el Tokyo Game Show de este año, el 18 de Octubre (aunque también podríamos esperar al Blu-Ray, como lo comentamos con anterioridad).

Esto se dió a conocer en el comunicado de prensa de CAPCOM de días atrás, aquí un extracto de ese comunicado:

Así que también será mostrada en los "states" el 13 y el 18 de Noviembre...

En verdad lo único que espero es saber más sobre lo que ha pasado con Claire estos siete años, la tienen muy abandonada desde RE: Code Veronica. (Aunque en el poster se vé bastante rara...).

Maas e precisava lançar para o N-Gage? Olha, falando sério, eu conheci 2 pessoas na minha vida que "tiveram" o N-Gage. Sim, isso porque ja passaram pra frente em virtude dos portáteis atuais.

O jogo é baseado no próximo filme (feito todo em computador), e deve sair junto com com o jogo. O filme está sendo produzido junto com a Sony. O Chokito falou aqui no blog antes sobre isso. Olhei o trailer e me interessei pelo filme, mas o jogo vai ficar difícil eu testar. :-)

The story is set in autumn of 2005. Bioterrorists manage to release the T-Virus in a busy US airport. The release of the zombies leads to danger of an outbreak, prompting the government to send in Leon S Kennedy to neutralize the threat.

The bio-terrorist action forces the local law enforcement to lock down the airport, giving Leon, and Claire who is at the airport during the incident four hours to disarm the situation or the T-Virus will be dispersed to every populated area in the US.

Near the end of the trailer we see Leon and Claire face off against a human host that has mutated using the much more potent G-Virus turning them into a mutant of immense strength. Paul Mercier and Alyson Court will reprise their roles as Leon and Claire, respectively for this upcoming CG adaptation.

I am really hesitant to make any positive remarks even after seeing the trailer; it’s probably because I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the three live action movies. So I shall reserve judgment on this movie till I see it myself, in the meantime you can go visit the official website and go check out the trailer.

I'm sooooo ecstatic to see this movie! SUPER STOKED! Holy crap! It's what ALL us hardcore and loyal Resident Evil fans have always wanted! SCREW THE MOVIES that Hollywood made! They're COMPLETE crap!! I cannot WAIT to see this new animated CGI movie by CAPCOM! =DD It's got my two favorite characters!

Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield! Man it looks like it's gonna be good! I love how Leon is dressed like he was in Resident Evil: 4. Claire looks AMAZING. Oh man, oh man! I'm so excited...I'm all hyped up now! There's just no possible way I can wait until 2009 to see it. I'll explode with anticipation. haha. Anyway, enjoy this new trailer, it came out a couple days ago, apparently.

Finalmente a Capcom resolveu "pedir desculpas" aos fãs da série e colocar o projeto (que deveria ter sido desde o começo o principal) Resident Evil Degeneration para funcionar. Acredito que após o fiasco dos três filmes estrelados por aquela menina que fez o "Quinto Elemento" o pessoal da Capcom caiu na real. Em parceira com a Sony Pictures do japão, produziu o longa animado da real estória do game que conquistou milhares de fãs pelo mundo. No filme, sete anos depois do "Incidente Umbrella" ocorrido em Raccoon City, que terminou com o ataque de um míssil nuclear lançado por ordem do presidente. Todos achavam que o "T Virus" teria sido erradicado. Porém, um novo contágio começa em um aeroporto nos EUA. No longa teremos a volta de Leon S Kennedy e Claire. A dupla que mandou pelos ares zumbis e monstros na segunda edição do jogo lançado em meados de 1998 se não me falha a memória. Confira o trailer abaixo:

-Así que comencemos con esta foto bastante peculiar donde podemos ver cómo les podrían pedir divorcio si son geeks (ouch!).

-Y ya que hablamos de geeks y sus similares, por qué no ver esta otra foto de chicas haciendo cosplay? La verdad yo no me subiría a ese vagón del tren...

-Siguiendo con las cosas extrañas, vean estos ataúdes para los videojugadores, con motivos de Halo, Grand Theft Auto o el control del Super Nintendo. Quién quiere uno de esos?

-Pero bueno, ya que nos enlazamos con los videojuegos, ustedes sabían que en China hay entrenadores para videojugadores? Sí, personas que les enseñan a otros a jugar! Si no me creen, entren aquí.

-Siguiendo con los juegos, en Pixel o' Rama se nos pasó escribir un rumor muy importante, y es que se dice que Marvel vs Capcom 3 ya está en camino! La verdad es uno de mis juegos favoritos de peleas. Es rápido, mezcla a dos mundos que me encantan y bueno, me trae buenos recuerdos. Ojalá el rumor sea cierto.

-Otra cosa que se nos pasó poner en este blog fueron más wallpapers de Metal Gear Solid 4, pero acá pueden encontrar una gran colección con los personajes del juego, ya sean buenos o malos. La verdad están muy padres (sencillos, estilizados y bueno, todos sabemos que los personajes de este título son únicos).

-Para terminar por ahora con los videojuegos, chequen estas carátulas de juegos de Sega Mega Drive para recordar los "bellos viejos tiempos" (sé de uno de nuestros redactores que posiblemente se ponga a llorar frente a su pantalla xD).

-Ahora con temas más serios, resulta que una falla técnica reveló información personal de los estudiantes del Tec de Monterrey, como sus horarios. Algo muy serio en verdad, y que se debería cuidar muchísimo, sobretodo tratándose de una universidad a donde van personas con tanto dinero...Cuidado con esas cosas.

-Para terminar, chequen esta galería de Christina Aguilera, la bella cantante que a muchos hace babear, o qué tal esta excelente foto de una chica en bikini caminando por la ciudad con su tabla de surf? Además de la chava, que la verdad está muy guapa (y la genial reacción del señor xD), la foto está muy bien tomada.

-Mención especial para el triunfo del boxeador mexicano Antonio Margarito sobre el puertorriqueño Miguel Cotto, al que le arrebató el título welter de la Asociación Mundial de Boxeo por nocaut técnico.

Bueno, ésta es la primera semana en la que publico lo mejor de nuestros Sitios amigos. No entraron artículos de todos los sitios, pues no todos están actualizados o no consideré el material tan importante, y vean cuánto escribí.

A new trailer for the upcoming movie Resident Evil: Degeneration was shown at Comic-Con and it looks pretty damn good.

No, Resident Evil: Degeneration is not a continuation of the Milla Jovovich series, but is instead a CG movie from Capcom and Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan.  I kinda liked the live action trilogy in a way, but I'm also glad that it is over... for now.

The story of Degeneration follows Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield as they deal with a T-virus outbreak in an airport.  I really wish that they would have made a game about it, because watching the trailer really makes me want to play it.  Zombies in an airport terminal is a very interesting concept that hasn't been fleshed out enough.  Strange though, that I just read volume 4 of High School of the Dead which also has some parts in an airport terminal.  Is Japan on some zombie airport stint right now?

The entire movie looks like one big cutscene, which is awesome, because Resident Evil cutscenes are always incredibly well done and among the best in video games.  The opening cinematic at the beginning of Code Veronica is still amazing to this day.

I'm very glad to see that this movie is going back to Resident Evil's roots.  I'm getting really tired of this Las Plagas bull shit from Resident Evil 4 and what seems to be 5 as well.  Resident Evil 5 has yet to come out, but from what has been shown so far there have been no zombies whatsoever.  It's not enough that starting with 4 and continuing in 5 the series is veering away from survival horror and becoming an action series.  It feels that they're throwing away everything that made them unique and selling out to current gaming trends.  Hopefully, the zombies and possible survival tone of Degeneration will send Capcom back home.

La franquicia de Resident Evil, nacida de los videojuegos y del subgénero de los zombies, ataca de nuevo con una versión de animación y sin Milla Jovovich. Resident Evil: Degeneration (conocida en Japón como Biohazard: Degeneration) nos mostrará que tras el incidente y destrucción de Racoon City, el virus que parecía controlado, reaparece de forma bastante salvaje en un aeropuerto. En fin, creo que esta película, que se va directo al DVD, aporte mucho a una historia hiper manoseada, aparte no es que la animación a utilizar sea rupturista... ¡para nada! Seguramente la gente de Capcom necesita vender unos juegos más y por eso decide hacer este comercial de un poco más de 90 min. de duración, mientras que Sony debe querer repotenciar su Playstation 3. En fin, aquí les dejo el trailer.

Nada se sabia acerca de la pelicula en CGI basada en el universo de Biohazard desde el primer teaser que se lanzo, ahora nos muestra CAPCOM un poco mas de lo que parece ser el regreso de la dupla mas importante de los ultimos años. Leon y Claire . . . se volveran a encontrar. Pero las preguntas son obvias . . . ¿porque se encuentran en esta pelicula?, y claro . . . ¿la pelicula esta basada en la cronologia real?.

En fin eso lo sabremos hasta su estreno, solo espero que no comentan errores y empiecen a cavar la tumba de los zombies con productos maletas.

It's 7 years after the incident at the Raccoon City (that's a year after RE4 and three years before the upcoming RE5).

...at an airport somewhere in the United States, on an ordinary autumn afternoon, a zombie is unleashed. It's a RE2 reunion Yay! You have Leon (sadly, the super cheesy one liner action hero version of him from RE4), Claire (looking good) and a G-Virus monster?! (notice the big eye on the monster at the end of the trailer).

Here's the funny thing; it's such a coincidence that around the time of RE2, my friend and I made our own fictional Resident Evil 3 story starring Leon, Claire, Sherry, Chris, Jill, Barry, Rebecca and Hunk (basically everyone from the the first two games Hehe) and set it in an airport. The story we came up with was that the T-Virus & the G-Virus spread across the US and their only hope for escape is to go to the airport (now turned into a military controlled evacuation center). However, things went to shit quickly and Chris dies (sacrificing himself to save Claire). In the end, the survivors escaped to Europe by plane, not before fighting a T+G virus Tyrant of course LOL. Oh well, at least when RE3 got released we got the next best thing, Jill's blue outfit :roll:
