Between fields soon to be tattered and torn..
They say that it's haunted
and people have taunted
her frame as her time lingers still..
but i stayed far away
on the road down Her way
as she stood all lonesone and still...
Time hold holds the key
and all the secrets she holds in her walls

all's well that ends well
and all will end
perhaps not as well as we hope
maybe illness will strike
maybe a car accident, or a 'plane crash

maybe the best that we can yearn for
is to die in bed
with our boots off
and at peace
or with them on, as slumbering drunkards

no....alone
that's the best way to die
if there is a best way
or laughing, in the company of friends
the biggest best laugh of all - for them

never in hospital though
that's really no way to go
surrounded by machinery
and used bedpans
devoid of all dignity

I have tasted death
the experience was bitter
the bus queue to heaven
or the train station to hell
we all bought a platform ticket years ago

when all's well that ends well
maybe the best that we can hope for
is to have lived
and loved
just a little and for a little while

TAFFY BY YOUR SIDE

Almighty power-
Restores Taffy's perfection
for eternity.

She - hears - sad tears cried
Knows hole left in many hearts-
Feels outpouring love.

Sends down wet air-licks,
Apply daily, over here
tickle Glenn's best ear.

No hurt here, Dad-Mom
just endless joy, love, head rubs-
Reminders of you!

I'm here to greet you
Later - God's perfect time -will
remain at your side.

Don't grieve much, Daddy
I haven't died - just napping
on the other side

Will lie in peace here
dreaming doggie-dreams until
you come home to me!

.
I'm so sorry to hear that your furkid, Taffy, has left your side for the Other Side, Glenn.  I know this has got to be so sad for you; makes my eyes well up for you, and for me, I guess, as the thought of losing my furkids is a thought not easily endeavored.  It's just so hard to put into words all the emotions a pet can touch in your heart or all the snapshot moments shared with then.  But, I think it's fair to say that Taffy is now running painless and in perfect health through God's gorgeous golden fields with other furkinds and maybe even tripping the Light fantastic.  Of course, you'll be in her presence again to resume the loving relationship you had with her in this realm.  I can't believe how sensitive I am to death finality right now and can hardly see to type through my weeping eyes.   I know it probably sounds horrible but I think sometimes people will fall apart and grieve more for their pets than members of their own families.  Yes, I know.  My bad.  But then, I'm rambling right now.  We spent the whole day at Mary Lynne's bagging things up and sorting what goes where.  But that's another story.  I just want you to know that my heart goes out to you and your wife and family over the lose of Taffy.  It sounds like she was a real treasure and a joy to behold by your lovely poem, Glenn.  You're in my thoughts.. {{hugs}}

THE KREEP’S LATEST ODE TO CARPENTER’S HALLOWEEN

The Kreep, a gothic poet haunting Ezines, social sites and podcasts all across the internet, is one of theVoices Of Halloween on the 8th annual Neverendingwonder.com Halloween Radio.

In addition to broadcasting the widest variety of Halloween themed music & comedy on three award winning Halloween Radio stations every October, The NeverEndingWonder Halloween Radio Empire includes The Voices of Halloween! This audio series will present Halloween greetings, memories and station IDs from some of the most infamous names to horror fans including The Kreep, penned and voiced by R. O’Donnell. You’ll also hear the renowned Forrest J. Ackerman himself, as well as David Hedison (star of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and the original version of The Fly), David Chomiak (writer of Fido), Sean Keller (writer of Dario Argento’s upcoming film Gaillo), as well as other horror writers, horror film actors, makeup and effects artists, horror hosts, musicians and more.

The Kreep, produced by R. Productions in association with Hoffhines Productions, and published by Static Multimedia, is offered in several social media formats such as a syndicated feature on100percentofnothing.com, an art and culture Ezine linked to a free downloadable podcast on iTunes. Selected poems will also receive an audio/visual treatment and posted on YOUtube and Vampire Freaks while compilations can be found in book form on Issuu. A new Kreepy poem is available every Wednesday at midnight on 100% of Nothing with a link to a free iTunes podcast.

This week The Kreep pays poetic homage to John Capenter’s classic horror tale Halloween. Take a slice of Edward Gorey, a dash of Gothic angst with just a pinch of Doctor Seuss and you’ll understand THE KREEP’s sensibility.

Yes–being over 100 years old, Brazillia R. Kreep was old enough to have experienced John Carpenter’s brilliantly simple Halloweenas it premiered in movie theatres all across America in late October of 1978. It terrified me, and my rather hefty assemblage of curious horror connoisseurs good n’ plenty (candy of choice). As I recall, our kreepy killer Michael Myers even sent some of the patrons running up the isles, and out into the lobby screaming, with a trail of spilt popcorn the only sign that they had attended this gory slash-fest. Of course such antics only added to the fun, and I knew in an instant that we were experiencing a horror cult classic of bloody-sized proportions.

Donald Pleasence (Dracula, Buried Alive) and Jamie Lee Curtis (The Fog, Prom Night) turn in bona fide gut-wrenching performances as the robotic murdering Myers turns their little town of Smiths Grove, Illinois bright red for All Saints Eve. But it was Carpenter’s score that took on a sinister personality of its own, alerting audiences that our brutal ripper was about to step out of the shadows for the kill. The theme song would become as famous as Bernard Herman’s Psycho and the Exorcist Tubular Bells theme.

Produced by R. Productions in association with Hoffhines Productions, and published by Static Multimedia, The Kreep is offered in several social media formats such as a syndicated feature on 100% OF NOTHING, an art and culture Ezine linked to a free downloadable podcast on iTunes. Selected poems will also receive an audio/visual treatment and posted on YOUtube and Vampire Freaks while compilations can be found in book form on Issuu.

A new Kreepy poem is available every Wednesday at midnight on 100% of Nothing with a link to a free iTunes podcast. Last week The Kreep’s poem was a tribute to one of the greatest serial killer films of all time The Silence of the Lambs, also on a deluxe DVD in stores now.

THE KREEP'S LATEST ODE TO CARPENTER'S HALLOWEEN

O'Donnell. You'll also hear the renowned Forrest J. Ackerman himself, as well as David Hedison (star of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and the original version of The Fly), David Chomiak (writer of Fido), Sean Keller (writer of Dario Argento's upcoming film Gaillo), as well as other horror writers, horror film actors, makeup and effects artists, horror hosts, musicians and more.

This week The Kreep pays poetic homage to John Capenter's classic horror tale Halloween.

Above us the choking gray
Sky looms.
Tonight
In bed
With you

I would crush
The velvet
Star over us
With lush
Kisses,
Wet
As womb

And trees,
Each limb green
As it
Touches us-

Green
As it
Bends
To drunken
Leaves.

I love the feeling of
Black mahogany
Breaking
Sound, but
Making love

Enormous branches
Moving in
Wind
Creak in
Bed

Waiting
To once
Grow leaves again
Recrossing each
Other
And other
Destroying
Each other or
Over taking
Others
Without sound.

3
I can see myself in
Front of a
Mirror
Waiting
For a wrinkle
To appear,

A hair to turn gray
And fall
Out.

The possibility
Of youth
Is but a
Wafer
On my
Tongue. Her

Before
Me
Wandering.

Anyway,

It is there-
Standing
Between her legs

Until
My tears are rain,
Until
My breath is wind,
Until
I am dirt again.

Do poet's souls help us
When we put into verse
Do they help us
Those monuments of the past
Jewels of words
Still blowing in the wind
In straight or slopping lines
Of revered books
Do poet souls help us
Do they chim in
When nights arrive
Stumbling on a foot
Do they feel my chagrin
And inspire the plot
In our epic life's rythms
Our empty poems
Do dears strike up stanzas
In a verb we couldn't name
A whispering game
From a nib we couldn't read
When quickens alliterations
And consonances

As I sat benieth a Autumn tree
Before the leaves began their fall
I watched as shadows slowly danced
on Natures Mirror for us all..
The sky was blue, peeking through
as the sun began it's slow decline
and i heard a whisper in the wind
that spoke of Summertime...
I watched the sun burt through white clouds
like a diamond it did shine...
as if a star was there for me to see
( to find within the light of time...)
I thanked the Lord for blessing me
with the time for which to see
that nothing can change, the 'little things"
Seasons give us all for free.
With the way this world it's going
It's past time for us to find
Believers who will 2 by 2
Agree that Peace On Earth we'll find..
For when more believe in something
then that something we will find..
and peace can be reality
and like a diamond it will shine...

Jahrspaziergang

my favorite poem revisited..

I shall call you the moon

for being a wolf I worship you

you calm my wildest whisper

and bring forth with willing glow

a song that resides within me.

I sing softly from my soul,

it bursts forth with loving echo,

I cannot contain my power

my longing to be with others

of my kind.

Your pale glow brings images

that in the light are less mystic,

and less complete,

as the bliss of being open.

I feel the darks sheltering quiet

and understanding cover

as my heart lifts and opens

like a flower that blooms at night.

I turn the page and run into thought

but now he will never know

and the thought makes me lonely

cause I am not suppose to miss him.
