When we die, we are left in a void. Nothingness. There is no heaven, there is no hell. YOU ARE DEAD, FUCKER. You're isolated from the rest of the world and completely alone. No people, no technology, not even your body. All that exists is your consciousness in a eternal realm of nothingness. You have two options:
A. Fail at crying as you lament the blankness of your perpetual prison.
B. Imagination *makes a rainbow with hands*

This is where creation of the Universe comes in. You see, there was nothing before God created everything, as there was nothing before the Big Bang happened. Get this: The Big Bang is God's imagination prevailing over despair from death.

So now, imagine we were created by a being that thinks like us. Because of how lonely that void is, he loves us so. But for the sake of being human, he doesn't make everything perfect for us. We must strive for it. We can ask him for help, and more often than not, he'll give it to us. He's just not making everything perfect so that we ourselves can develop the same zeal for life that fired his imagination, so that we may become gods when we die.

Life is pretty much God's imagination in action. That's why he sees and knows  everything we do. But life is also how God judges us. We're given free will for a reason- if we enjoy life and revel in it with great vigor, we develop our imagination; our creativity; that world we can create when we die. If we live in permanent sorrow, not seeing the joy of life, doing nothing to make others happy, we won't develop that imagination. We'll just be left to wallow in that same despair when we die. Without a single shred of happiness.

ENJOY LIFE! EXPERIENCE IT TO THE FULLEST! Go forth and don't let ANY restriction hold you back! Take not one thing for granted. As long as you have a burning passion to live and press on, you can become a god in the next life! This is my answer to the great question! This is what life is about!

The term Internet meme is a neologism used to describe a catchphrase or concept that spreads quickly from person to person via the Internet.

Internet memes in a way, are the online version of chain letters.  Most are silly and uninteresting.  A waste of cyberspace.  The blogger Nessa, tagged me on the following Internet Meme and whilst I usually avoid them, this one in particular has an appeal strong enough to compel a response.

The objective is to enter your answer to each question into Google and then choose an image from the first page.  Some cheat and swipe an image from any page.  Others choose their target based on aesthetic—either what they find 'pretty' or 'beautiful' and/or what they think others will like with a primary purpose to impress.  Whatever their reasons, they are a byproduct of intellectual laziness with a flair of conformity.

I see this meme foremost as a psychological exercise.  By sticking to the rules, it necessarily forces specificity on the author, thereby transforming it into an enjoyable logically inductive experience.  The images are both ambiguous and highly descriptive.  Many of the images in my response contain more than one meaning; specific search criteria and selective scrutiny within the confines of Google search engine.

As an example, I have chosen the first image because I will be 28 on my next birthday, enjoyed the film 28 Weeks Later, and the biohazard sign is one of the symbols for Androgyne.  My answers are all contained within the images, accessible for those that can decipher them.  It is a two-way psychological mindfuck regardless of whether or not people manage to interpret accurately.

Therein lies the full extent of the allure.

EVE NO JIKAN

Vad händer när roboten blivit en integrerad del av samhället, men människan är helt oförmögen att empatisera med en existens som det var meningen aldrig skulle tilldelas någon makt? Eve no Jikan går rakt på sak, in i ett emotionellt drama i ett framtidens Japan som osar av spänning och tradionell scifi-angst när den är som allra bäst.

Första avsnittet hade egentligen premiär redan i augusti, men först nu får vi alltså se Act 2. Animation av Studio Rikka, ett för många känt namn sedan tidigare. Regissör är Yasuhiro Yoshiura, efter att även ha regisserat Mitzu no Kotoba och Pale Cocoon och blivit jämförd med självaste Shinkai Makoto. Ljuvligt soundtrack av Tohru Okada.

RÖSTER: Jun Fukuyama, Kenji Nojima, Rie Tanaka, Tomokazu Sugita och andra stora namn.

KOMMENTAR: Det är väldigt få animerade verk som lyckas få tittaren att känna sig helt närvarande i filmens verklighet, både positionellt och emotionellt. Det krävs en unik känslighet och intuition för att kunna animera på ett sätt som känns så levande att du tror dig sitta mitt emot den tvådimensionella figur du ser på skärmen. Det finns en del som lyckas med det senare, att beröra emotionellt. Här skulle nog de flesta räkna in de stora mästarregissörerna som t.ex. Miyazaki, Kon, Makoto, Oshii m.fl.

Vad som däremot är riktigt sällsynt är när till exempel en vinkling av perspektiv eller andra visuella effekter gör att det känns som om ditt medvetande just skakades in genom skärmen och kom ut på andra sidan. Yoshiuras senaste underverk är ett av exemplen på detta. Oavsett om den här typen av science fiction-drama faller dig i smaken eller inte, så är själva hantverket bakom animationen, bakgrundsillustrationerna och blandningen mellan 2D och 3D helt sensationellt välgjort. För dig som alltid varit ett fan, eller vet med dig att du uppskattar konstnärlig och visuellt gripande anime från samma härad som Masaaki Yuasa eller Shinkai Makoto, är Eve no Jikan ett absolut måste i höst!

I knew this year was going to be a stress. I just underestimated how much of a lazy fuck I was. Concentration and focus are terrible for me. For example, I'm suppose to be working on a huge paper. What do I do instead? Blog about it so it gets out of my system and look up foods I should eat to maintain focus.

My mind wanders and part of me wants to go search for laptops that I want. I'm also thinking about money management and what I should bring to class tomorrow. How many quarters I need for the bus this week and when can I squeeze in time for the gym. So basically, anything else besides the here and now is on my mind.

Det känns typ som att jag plötsligt blivit av med min anime-oskuld, och inte vet om jag borde känna mig rädd / förnedrad, eller om jag helt enkelt blivit vittne till det där historiska ögonblicket när Japan, en gång för alla, gått över alla jävla gränser.

Jag har svårt att dra mig till minnes när jag såg något så jävla makabert och underhållande senast! Det är som om en del av min hjärna stretar emot för att det är så smaklöst och sjukt. Den andra delen av hjärnan börjar sakta men säkert återhämta sig från den första chocken (theshit?wutthefukkinthenameofWUTFUCKK) och blir istället mer mottaglig för den totalt geniala humorn! För att inte glömma Studio 4°C's karaktäristiska stilfulla animation. Till slut krävs det bara lite engrish blandat med ett par referenser till sadism, Kahimi Karie och svensk pop för att jag ska vika mig dubbel av skratt.

Alltså vid närmare eftertanke så är jag rätt säker på att jag sett den här mangan tidigare, som ett random skämt på /a/, men brydde mig aldrig om att ta reda på vad den egentligen handlade om. Oh well, nu vet jag. HAHA. Shit. MY HEAD A SPLODE! Det blir som en kombination av samtidslol över det japanska samhället (typ det jag har saknat ända sedan SZS slutade gå) blandat med det som jag hoppades att Kamen no Maid Guy skulle ha varit. Sammanfattningsvis: att driva med poppare, metal och våldtäkt i en och samma anime, och lyckas få mig att skratta åt det, är rent jävla WIN.

Ser fram emot kommande avsnitt! Hoppas på mer Shibuya-kei, mobbning och trams.
