Right, as promise on my prev, prev and prev blog (if u got baca properly..hehe) that i'm supposed to make prawn lollipop kan..hmm...some how tak jadi la.haha..well as you can see, its not that lolli after all..hehe..i don't have that cornstarch to bind them (the prawn mix) together ba..ish..so i use normal flour saja..anyway..jadi jugak la, i mean the taste wise. Hemm..So, the ingredients are, prawn, water chestnut, onion, spring onion, rosemary and 1 whole egg. To marinade, i add a little sesame oil and oyster sauce lo, thats all. :)

First, with the prawns kan, which i bought today (after my rpm @ uptown),i think was the cheapest that icould find,in fact, thats my usual place where i get my prawns (though the lady boss never recognized me..heh) its about $9/500g of course got more bigger and expensive one la..but obviously not necessary since i'm going cincang (minced in malay)it anyway..keke..so yeah, so i peel and deveined the prawns one by one. Fyi, i just use half of what i've bought, saving it for another starter (coming soon..this time, its going to be Prawn with thai mango salad..hah!.)

Done with the prawns, then i add the remaining ingredients in lo (water chestnut, onion-diced, spring onion-finely chopped and rosemary -snip snip heheh). Then i move on to the sauces, which is the mayonnaise mix in 3 different ways (sweet-orange, sour-lime and spicy-wasabi). This is very easy, simply zest the lime and orange with their juices (make sure that the juice is less than the amount of mayonnaise, otherwise it will change the consistency of the sauce) and for the wasabi, just add in the japanese horseradish lo. :)

For presentation, i just add some black sesame which i bought today also at cold storage (and its organic punya ba, ish you think its cheap ar..hmm..i also forgot how much sudah). As you can see, i used bamboo skewer. You can switch that with skewers made from sugar cane or even use rosemary's stem. Hmm..will definately try again to make into a ball shape..sigh..

This evening I made a cheesecake and it tasted delicious! It was so easy to make too - it only took about five minutes from start to finish, with no baking required.

200g ginger biscuits, crushed
100g butter, melted
Juice and zest of three limes
800g cream cheese
100g icing sugar
500g orange segments

Melt the butter and combine with the crushed biscuit. Layer into a large cake tin and put in the fridge to set. Then combine the juice, zest, cream cheese and icing sugar in a bowl using a whisk, and layer on top of the biscuit base. Finally, scatter the orange segments over the top to finish. It looks fantastic and it tastes just great. Serves 8.

Steak Taco, originally uploaded by monkeycat!.

So I don't eat meat much anymore, but I still love to cook it! We got this recipe off of the splendid table which is an incredible show on NPR about food...duh. It is based off a recipe from the Obama's favorite restaurant in Chicago. I have added my own stuff as well, but I can't take credit for this one. Or any recipe for that matter. Don't worry I have a vegetarian option for tacos which is just as good.

Keep in mind that I make a whole spread with pico and salsa and guacamole. All of those items go into filling the taco as well, but I can't post all of those recipes here because it would be insane, they will come later.

Steak Tacos

1 pound plank or skirt steak

1 medium oinion

1 peeled lime (for even more flavor zest lime before peeling and add that too)

2 Tbs. Chili powder

1 Tbs. Cumin

a nice sized handfull of fresh Cilantro

1 cup olive oil

salt and pepper

In a blender add all ingredients except for the steak. Blend until liquified. Place steak in a bag or a baking pan and marinade over. Cover/close bag and let sit for at least two hours. You can't let it marinate for too long as the citrus will actually begin to cook the meat.

Cook steak on a grill or under the broiler. I like medium rare (or used to) so that is usually about 5 minutes per side. Be sure to spoon the marinade over the meat while it is cooking! You should have no marinade left in the bag or pan at the end.

Remove from grill/broiler cover and allow to sit for at least 5 minutes. It will still continue to cook for a bit but covering the meat like this will ensure you keep all of those yummy juices. Slice thinly on an angle.

I used Ezekiel tortillas but any soft tortilla is fine. Spread sour cream (haha i just wrote sour dream...a fruedian slip i guess) and place meat inside. Top with salsa, pico, guac, black beans, cheese and fresh cilantro. Then squeeze a wedge of lime over it all. Delish.

Sweet Potato Taco Filling

1 large Sweet Potatoes

1 head of garlic

1/4 cup beer

1 large onion

1 Tbs. cumin

salt and pepper

Roast sweet potatoes on 450 in foil or a covered baking dish until soft. Make a pocket out of foil. Slice top of garlic, but keep the clove intact. Put the garlic in the pocket and pour in beer over. Close pocket and roast in oven with the potatoes for about 30 minutes. On the stove caramelize onions in butter or olive oil.

Once the potato is done scrape insides into a bowl. Squeeze in garlic. Add onions and season with cumin, salt and pepper. Mix together until it is all mashed a bit and well blended. Make tacos as above, sans meat.

I LOVE FOOD!

Chewy on the outside and fresh, crisp and crunchy on the inside. Fresh spring rolls are a light and

Chewy on the outside and fresh, crisp and crunchy on the inside. Fresh spring rolls are a light and refreshing appetizer packed with flavor.

Turns out, they're pretty easy to make at home! Preparing the rolls' numerous elements is the hardest part; wrapping and rolling is all the fun.

These shrimp spring rolls included cilantro, seeded cucumber, carrots, green onion, mint leaves, cellophane noodles, and chopped peanuts. You could also swap in basil for the mint or add lettuce or spinach to the mix. Some people like fresh bean sprouts in there as well. It's up to you.

Start the assembly process by soaking a sheet of rice paper in a bowl of water until it gets limp. Then pull it out and lay it on a damp cloth. Starting with the mint leaves or lettuce, top the wrapper with all the ingredients. Then, roll it up tight like you would a burrito.

I recommend two dipping sauces to dunk your rolls into: a spicy peanut sauce and a sweet garlic chili sauce. Both can be prepared in advance, and leftovers can be kept and used as a marinade or condiment.

Spicy Peanut Dipping Sauce

1/4 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup rice vinegar

2 tablespoons water

1 tablespoon each of minced garlic and ginger

1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1/4 cup crushed peanuts

1 tablespoon peanut butter

*Bring all of the above ingredients to simmer over low heat, whisking to combine the peanut butter. Let it cool before serving.

Sweet Chili Dipping Sauce

4 tablespoons fish sauce

1/4 cup water

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon minced garlic

2 tablespoons sugar

1/2 teaspoon garlic chili sauce, or to taste

*Combine at least one hour before serving.

I, like many of us, am a consumer. I purchase things. I devour things. I possess things. I am a cons

I, like many of us, am a consumer. I purchase things. I devour things. I possess things. I am a consumer. One snag in the life of a consumer is advertising. Companies know you want to do all of the aforementioned things so they act as if their product is the only product for you. In fact, advertisers will go to extreme lengths to make you question how you have lived this long without their product.

Introducing Bud Light Lime

Bud Light Lime is a premium light beer that combines the superior drinkability of Bud Light with a splash of 100% natural lime flavor.

That is a direct quote from the Bud Light Lime site describing their new product. I have a lot of problems with their whole advertising campaign, but in this one line I have a number of issues. Let's begin at the beginning, shall we?

First off, I am tired of all of these drink companies trying to make their products more exotic by adding new flavors to them. First we had Cherry Coke and that was fine, but now you have every flavor known to man mixed into drinks where they should not be. I do not want lemon in my pepsi, lime in my coke or carmel, coffee, mango, chocolate, vanilla or any other 'flavorful sensation' in my drinks.

Second, what is a premium beer anyway? I understand that Bud Light thinks it is a premium beer. But do other beer manufacturers feel it is a premium beer as well? Furthermore, do they really think we believe them when they advertise it as such? I mean, come on... You can get anything in premium- even this pink Tom-Tom carrying case- IT'S PREMIUM!!!

"Oh, oh oh honey... we need to go out and get ourselves some of that new Bud Light... it's premium..."

And what beer company would advertise their wares as anything less than premium? You could have a beer company that makes its brew from water drained off of the tail of a dead skunk that was hit by a fast-moving Greyhound bus 2 days ago and they still would call it premium. In fact there is probably an ad guy out there right now devising the campaign AND they would probably charge you more for it.

"Why did the small woodland creature cross the road? Why to get his hands on the finest beer in the outdoors, of course- Crafted from the finest woodland creature habitats across the Midwest- A beer for the woodsman. A full-bodied ale that embodies the American open road.. Enjoy an Over The Road Beer today!"

Next, I have an issue with 'superior drinkability.' The first question we have to ask ourselves is 'what is drinkability?' I mean is there a drinkablility scale from high school that I missed one day when I was absent from chemistry class?

'... and that is the periodic table, class. Next we will be discussing the drinkablility table. As you can see, items from around the world have been assembled on this chart from zero to superior drinkability. Down here you will see that rocks, canaries and alkaline batteries have a very low drinkability..."

And after we determine what drinkability is, how do we define one drinkability as superior? And who is the poor fool that has to test the drinkability of things?

"Well, I guess it is safe to assume, since Jack is dead, that he thinks the drinkability of lava is low... Riiiiight... very low."

And again, do these companies really expect us to buy that their product is 'superior?' Like they would say otherwise...

"Enjoy a refreshing Alpine Beer. It feels like swallowing an angry porcupine, but it will get you drunk."

And finally, what is the deal with 100% natural lime flavor? Is it lime? Ahhhh, no... but it is lime-flavored. 100%, that is! What does that mean??? Is it lime or not? How can it be 100% lime flavor? That doesn't even make any sense. It either is 100% lime or not. How can something be 100% natural if it is not natural at all???

"Boy, this lime flavor tastes like lime so much in fact I would reckon it tastes a 100% like lime! Mmm, mmm, that is some delicious lime-flavored flavoring. It is like I am eating a real lime."

Well, enough for today... My rant has run its course. Be careful out there.

Keep your eyes peeled for dumb ads or claims by ads. Post them on the site

Review: Choxie Dark Chocolate Key Lime Truffle Bar

In the candy aisle of my local Target, on a shelf full of $3 Choxie candy bars, I spotted this one m

In the candy aisle of my local Target, on a shelf full of $3 Choxie candy bars, I spotted this one marked down to $2.50. That's not exactly a good sign, but I thought maybe people were scared away by the thought of lime and chocolate. I thought to myself however, that this bar conceptually worked. I've had frozen key lime pie covered in dark chocolate down in Key West and it was delicious. I've also made lime flavored white chocolate candies with graham pieces and they were delicious. So despite the suspicious sale price, I had high hopes for this candy bar.

Structure
The label has the following detailed description: "Dark chocolate with a truffled filling of white chocolate balanced with tart key lime and crunchy graham biscotti cookies." The bar is constructed by lining an 8-segment mold with dark chocolate, filling the cavity with white chocolate lime ganache and sealing the bottom with another layer of dark chocolate.

Texture
The dark chocolate coating is a bit waxy, but still smooth with a firm snap. The truffle filling feels pretty much like regular white chocolate. The difference between the hardness of the dark chocolate and the inside is slight. It's almost like biting into a solid, thick chocolate bar. The graham biscotti cookie bits are small and sparsely sprinkled throughout. This was disappointing because I was hoping they'd provide some crunch and contrast to the texture of the chocolates. Overall, the texture of this product is very one-dimensional.

Taste
The lime flavor is very subtle. I had an expectation of a sweet and sour citrus burst countered with the bitterness of dark chocolate. Instead, both the lime and the chocolate were underwhelming. You do get a little bit of the sour lime flavor on the finish, but it's not nearly as pronounced as I would have liked. The flavor of tiny graham bits is imperceptible. Without the aid of the product label, I wouldn't have been able to tell that they were graham biscotti versus any other type of cookie bit.

Verdict
I give Choxie credit for trying to create a unique candy bar, but I think they fell short on the execution. It's almost like they were scared to make it taste TOO much like lime. This is unfortunate because if you're the kind of person who would pluck this product off the store shelf, that's exactly what you would be looking for. I wasn't completely turned off by the Choxie brand though and I'm sure I'll be trying out some of their other products in the future.

With folded sides facing down, fit foil securely into bottom and up sides of 8-inch-square baking pan, allowing excess to overhang pan sides. Spray foil with nonstick cooking spray.

2. TO MAKE THE CRUST: In workbowl of food processor, pulse animal crackers until broken down, about ten 1-second pulses; process crumbs until evenly fine, about 10 seconds (you should have about 1 1/4 cups crumbs). Add brown sugar and salt; process to combine, ten to twelve 1-second pulses (if large sugar lumps remain, break them apart with fingers). Drizzle butter over crumbs and pulse until crumbs are evenly moistened with butter, about ten 1-second pulses. Press crumbs evenly and firmly into bottom of prepared pan. Bake until deep golden brown, 18 to 20 minutes. Cool on wire rack while making filling. Do not turn off oven.

3. TO MAKE THE FILLING: While crust cools, in medium bowl, stir cream cheese, zest, and salt with rubber spatula until softened, creamy, and thoroughly combined. Add sweetened condensed milk and whisk vigorously until incorporated and no lumps of cream cheese remain; whisk in egg yolk. Add lime juice and whisk gently until incorporated (mixture will thicken slightly).

4. TO ASSEMBLE AND BAKE: Pour filling into crust; spread to corners and smooth surface with rubber spatula. Bake until set and edges begin to pull away slightly from sides, 15 to 20 minutes. Cool on wire rack to room temperature, 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Cover with foil and refrigerate until thoroughly chilled, at least 2 hours.5. Loosen edges with paring knife and lift bars from baking pan using foil extensions; cut bars into 16 squares. Sprinkle with toasted coconut, if using, and serve. (Leftovers can be refrigerated up to 2 days; crust will soften slightly. Let bars stand at room temperature about 15 minutes before serving.)

Sketchbook pictures, people study, clothed figure drawing. I'm getting better, but I can't look directly at people yet. It's weird.

Now for the rant.

I've been feeling down lately. Because I hate making decisions. Free will is such... a difficult thing. People should feel blessed but it's such a curse at the same time. Ridiculous, I can't decide what I want to do. Advance my education 2 times faster or go to Italy. Advance or have a wonderful, worldly experience. Well, you only take 4 classes, I want to take 5 next spring, but that raises tuition. Does this mean I want to taste the nector of the world. Going to Italy has too many pros and cons. I just don't know what outweighs the other.

Pros:

- I meet new people, make new friends, maybe. I need to work on my aloof personality.

- See an archaic city at it's finest.

- It's fucking Italy.

- Broaden my horizons.

- Get out of my house for 7.5 weeks.

- Be away from people.

- Painting and drawing in Rome, Venice... the works

- Really good opportunity for exploration.

_ It'll be fun.

Cons:

- It's about $12,000 - 13,000 D: This does not include food expense and souvenirs.

- It will take me forever to find the money.

- If I take out loans, it will take me longer to pay it all back.

- Our economy is in a recession.

- I'll need to finally sign up for a credit card (but that's not even a problem)

- Money is hard to come by.

- My cons are entirely made up of money issues.

- I might only take one class for summer when I should take 2.

- I could take 5 classes for all my semesters because my financial aid covers tuition and a little more, so I don't want to borrow more money. Really don't want to borrow anymore.

- Getting injured, or stolen from, but that's the least of my worries.

- I feel guilty, so I am lengthening the list for cons.

- I'm being selfish, this is my heart's desire.

Outside view:

After school, I can embark on my own personal journey. It will just take longer. I can finish school fast in 4 years, and I'll lesson my load if I stay with my parents until graduation. What I'm worried, is that I'll break down from living with my parents for too long. The harder the fall, the higher the ascension. Must I continue falling? All right... I should dig myself a big pit. A BIG pit, filled with snakes and darkness and hope I can climb back out again. If I dont make it out, I think mental institutions will gladly take me in for study.

Humans do not intentionally put themselves into pain, no one wants that. I don't know how people can cut themselves, but they only think it makes them better. Mutilating a perfectly good body that was a gift; it's like giving away your friend's photo to some stranger so he can do dirty things with it. I should remind myself that all my possessions, even the ones I bought were given to me. That the universe has more abundance in it than what currency should mean.

Now. Italy? Or advancement? What one would be the pit? Emotionally, this is stressing me because I need to make a decision soon. So I can enroll in classes.

I can't live with my parents forever, but I don't want to owe anymore money.

I'm cursing in my head right now. It's a stream of "f*ck," "damnit," and "this is stupid."

Oh, yes and ants taking a liking to me. They're everywhere around the house. Sometimes I feel them on my skin. It didn't click to me until yesterday, but apparently, they have a message that is being delivered to me. If ants were my totem, I only think it's temporary. They're itchy and they bite. Lately, I feel like I've been getting rashes on my upper arms from nothing. It just itches so bad, but I see nothing. Such an urgent message. Well. I will admit, I've been slacking. I've been neglecting work too. I haven't started on anything and when I do start, it's turned in late. I said I wanted a job, but I'm not looking for it. I don't want to do anything. I sit in front of my computer. and even when I have nothing to do on it, I still try to find something to do so I can waste time. I don't think blogging right now is a waste because I'm trying to sort out lingering thoughts.

Ants and what they mean? It's obvious, they are the hard workers in society. Now I haven't been hard working as I have just confessed! As disgusting as they do feel, I do admire them for their effort. Such small beings, they can accomplish anything they want if humans weren't tryint to kill with Raid. I am not disciplining myself. I think it is hard to. I am neglecting my own self, I'm not even laying a good foundation I've been done nothing! I'm not adding new structures to my life. I need to write more affirmations now.

I love, love, love spring green. It's so fresh and luscious.

The only problem is that I didn't want to go overboard. I wanted to add something complimentary that could add a little pop of contrast and depth.

Well, of course I found exactly what I was looking for on Elizabeth Anne Designs. Introducing... my inspiration.

I was helping my mother with dinner in the kitchen earlier and I saw a very nice "vege arrangement", one fiery red chili amongst a bunch of white chilies. I hardly see any white chilies in the market before but perhaps in there are plentiful in the local day market. We have a pot of this white chili tree just in front of our car porch so we don't really have to buy any. This is how the chilies look like:

The red chili seems to have blend in quite comfortably.

My mother, being a spice queen, would put these white chillies into a bottle and pour some white vinegar into it, fermenting it, looking like this:

During meals, she would pour some out and squeeze a bit of lime into it. Then, she will crush the chilies with a small spoon. So it tastes zesty, spicy and a little sweet vinegar-ish taste. Weird for some, but that is how native Sarawakians eat their chillies. In this case, my mom and her white chilies.

There is a specialty liquor store I venture into once in a while. Usually I am looking for something particular and leave with another fascinating find in hand. “The Jewel of Russia” is one such gem. While it is another vodka on the market from the heart of Russia no less, the bottle I picked up is infused with wild bilberries. Of course I had to look up bilberries to see what they actually were.

What are bilberries? European blueberry, blaeberry, whortleberry, whinberry, myrtle blueberry, fraughan and most likely an array of other names regionally. While they appear similar to a blueberry, the bilberry is red or purple and grows singularly or in paired berries rather than clusters like the blueberry. Bilberries are most often used in jams, pies and various prepared desserts rather than eaten fresh. In this case, they are soaked in vodka for use in cocktails.

The Jewel of Russia is traditional Russian Vodka crafted with authenticity, quality and tradition in mind. There is of course Classic and Premium Vodka rather than the infused lower alcohol content Wild Bilberry version I picked up, but each Jewel of Russia Vodka variety is steeped in distinctive Old World style and charm. The liquor store owner I chatted with swears by this particular brand due to the true craftsmanship that goes into the spirit. He said there is no other like it with its purity and smoothness.

You will taste snippets of chocolate and cherry with a liqueur like finish rounding out the silky texture of this infused Wild Bilberry Vodka. The flavor is not unusually strong, so it is recommended to use light flavored ingredients when creating cocktails on your own. It is acceptable to place the infused varieties of The Jewel of Russia Vodkas in the freezer for a few hours before use, but do not keep them there for lengthy amounts of time. Due to the sugar content, some elements of the vodka may separate and freeze.

I tried the Cosmo Jewel (for him). The Berry Infusion is recommended for women and the Wild Bilberry is suggested for men. I am such a non conformist! Actually, the Wild Bilberry just looked more interesting. The recipe is fine as is with only Wild Bilberry and squeeze of lime, but this is a cocktail that definitely leaves room for serious tweaking if the mood strikes. I did play with it by adding a touch of Cointreau and cranberry juice as a traditional Cosmo would require. The Cointreau does overwhelm the delicate flavor of the Wild Bilberry infusion as the website says stronger flavored ingredients will. Back to the drawing board for me. Then again, how rough can it be playing around with liquor trying to find just the right mix to satisfy the taste buds?

Below you will find a few of the recipes using The Jewel of Russia Wild Bilberry Vodka Infusion found on the official Jewel of Russia website. Check out the recipes and then venture on to the website for more information.

I really enjoyed the flavors in this fried rice. Lime, cilantro, chili sauce. Yum! Even my picky husband went back for seconds. My knife skills must be improving because I was able to prep and cook this up a little faster than usual.

Thai-Style Chicken Fried Rice
adapted from this recipe from Good Things Catered

3 c cooked rice, day old rice preferably
1 large chicken breast, cut into strips
salt & pepper to taste
2 T canola oil
1 T sesame oil
1 T freshly grated ginger
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 green pepper, cut into matchsticks
2 small carrots, peeled and cut on the diagonal
1 egg
3 medium tomatoes, diced
1/2 c steamed peas
3 T low sodium soy sauce
1 t fish sauce
juice of 1 lime
1 T sriracha
3 green onions (white & light green part only), sliced
1 T fresh minced cilantro
lime wedges for garnish, optional

1. Whisk the soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice and sriracha together in a small bowl. Set aside.
2. Heat oil in a large wok over medium high heat. Add garlic and ginger, stirring constantly until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
3. Add the chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until the chicken is mostly cooked through, about 5 minutes. Add the peppers and carrots and cook until the vegetables are crisp tender and the chicken is cooked through. Remove the chicken and veggies and set aside.
4. Crack the egg into the pan and cook, stirring constantly until they start to firm up, about 20 - 30 seconds. Add the rice, ginger mixture, tomatoes, peas, soy sauce mixture, chicken and veggies. Stir to combine. I like my fried rice a little on the crunchy side, so I let it cook for an additional 3 - 4 minutes.
5. Remove from the heat and fold in the cilantro and green onion. Serve with lime wedges if desired.

This made enough for 2 meals plus leftovers for lunches. The original recipe uses more rice and chicken. I didn't think we would be able to eat all of it so I changed some of the ingredient amounts.

--
The night was young. She was so exhausted. Still there was much time left before she was done for the evening. She smiled politely to the customer who had come to her with a complaint. She worked as a department manager within the Taisho Company. The pay was amazing but she had to deal with idiots who sort to make her life difficult. She rubbed her head to ease the beginning tension of a stress headache. She missed those days when she would wonder rural Japan. Those had been wonderful times. Now she was twenty-one years old. And accomplished adult with a great paying job but she did not feel fulfilled. She was restless at night. She wanted something but she couldn’t figure out what.

Her last relationship had been over three years ago and she had not had time to be with anyone. With the death of her grandfather, she had her mom had had to go straight to work to make ends meet. Finally she lived on her own. She had a nice little house in suburbia and she was quite proud of it. She had great friends. Her family they were wonderful, but she needed more than that. Maybe it was the physical contact of another maybe she just needed to get laid. She smiled at that thought as she continued through the night with the customers.

For the billionth time her eyes drifted to the clock again. Time was literally crawling by. She yawned tiredly. She was so exhausted. She wanted to be home and she was counting the seconds away a she dealt with every little petty problem that came her way. With a sigh of relief she rushed to her office as soon as the lock struck nine. She wanted to be in her home. She needed a nice bath that would soak away the days hardships and labours. It wasn’t that there was anything bad about her job. It was just that there was no challenge in it. She was bored. She needed something to do, something that would take her mind away from life’s mundanities.

Saying goodnight to the security officers, she stepped out of the building with a cheery smile on her face. She stretched on the top steps of the building she worked at. It was so big. She arched her back to look up at it and nearly fell over with the distance. She giggled feeling silly and started the walk home. It was a good twenty minutes. She liked the walk, as it was a great way to exercise. She did ten-hour days and she didn’t get the chance to work out so the walk was her only way to keep fit.

There was something wonderful about the night. The wind circled her as if whispering dark secrets to her. Her hair flew all around her at the gentle touch of the night breeze and she smiled. She felt so wonderful. It was always the same when she left. She felt like skipping and singing. The freedom she felt leaving that building was impossible to understand. She thought about the day’s events and made plans for the next. In two days the weekend would arrive and she would get to go home to her mothers. She had promised that she would visit. Sota was a man now at least practically and they had made plans to go to the town’s carnival that weekend.

She was so comfortable with the walk. She got lost in her thoughts. She remembered her friends. Her friends from an era in the past, which she should have never been able to visit. She understood that she had been needed there though. Her initial visiting had been not of her choice but it had changed. Things had changed so dramatically. She’d fallen for a half demon named Inuyasha only to have her heart broken when he’d chosen a dead version of her self instead. She had begun to realise that she did not love him. She had realised that it was the memories of the reincarnated soul in her that had clung to him. She had slowly gotten over it. She had had to concentrate of defeating the evil menace that was Naraku. That had been her only care and she was more than happy to go through with it. Naraku had been a menace to the world and she had known that had she not tried the world she knew now would not have existed. She smiled

Her last day in that time had been a wonderfully great day. She had parted with Inuyasha as friends. She’d hugged her friends Sango and Miroku and had asked them to look after Shippo. She missed them immensely. In this time when they were already dead she couldn’t help feeling sad that she would not have been with them everyday but she comforted herself with the knowledge that they had lived in a time where Naraku did not exist. She thought of them everyday. They had been a family to her and she would have lied if she’d said she did not miss their company. But times changed. You lose friends and you make new ones.

She got to the part of the walk that she hated the most especially at night. She had to cut across the park. It was really big a wide-open area surrounded by trees. If she took the route around the part it would take her almost an hour and a half but it was so dark in there. One never knows what lay in the dark so every night when she walked there, she was worried, but crime rate in the city had gone down drastically so she felt mildly safe and taking a deep breath she continued her stroll home.

She felt a chill touch her body as the wind rustled through the trees. It made an eerie sound that had her quickening her steps. She did not know why but walking there always brought to mind scary thoughts. Simple innocent sounds of nature became the most frightening sounds on the earth. She almost sighed as she got to the last part. It was a five-minute walk through that part and in less than a minute she would be home. This was the part where she walked through the trail of trees and then she would be again in the lit streets of Tokyo.

She sighed almost with relief until she heard a snap to her right. It sounded like someone or something had been walking through the jungle and had stepped on a branch or something. She felt her heart pick up. She had already been scaring her self with all those thoughts and she couldn’t help the fear that coursed through her veins. Why didn’t I just take the bus? she thought as she looked behind her. It was probably nothing but right now she was so frightened she did not care.

With a sigh she turned back in front of her, as there was no one or nothing visible. She felt silly. Her heart slammed into her chest as she caught a glow. It was a pair of red eyes and they were looking at her. Oh god! Oh God! Oh God! she was thinking as her steps increased. It was not behind her but to a good distance on her right.

She barely heard it but it was there. The whispered snarl of “Run,” caught her ear. She was positive that the creature looking at her had said it and not wasting time she started to run. She was frightened. She heard it take off as soon as she did and not being stupid she lunged to the right turning her self almost violently into the canopy of trees. It was so close. She was crying. If she hadn’t moved it would have caught her and she was afraid of looking back. She knew that it would kill her tonight and so she ran all through the forested area.

A chuckle caught her ear. It was toying with her. It was so close. Go away she begged repeatedly. She felt it behind her and she tried to make a last ditched effort to zigzag but it was pointless. He grabbed her, she fell to the ground on her back and a scream left her lips. It was quickly muffled by a hand as a dark voice whispered into her ear. “Hello little ningen. Let’s play a little game…”

An angry growl escaped the mouth of Sesshomaru Taisho. He was the head of the Taisho Company in the business district of Tokyo and a very serious deal had gone down the drain. He knew that his competitor had deliberately sabotaged his investment and he wanted blood. He looked at his clock within the massive office that served also as a room on the nights he stayed over to work on particularly difficult deals. He had to get out of there. There were humans working for him and he did not trust himself around them. Besides a certain hanyou needed to learn where his place in this world was. He was so angry that he could feel his inner youkai raging to come out. He knew that he was dangerous tonight. It was one of those times that his control slipped while in the human world and from the gasps of the security guards he knew that his youkai had shown up from the reddening of his eyes. He snarled at them as he stepped out of the building.

Sesshomaru was a beautiful man. His silvery blond hair hung down his back in a tight braid. He had the features of an aristocrat. Many who had seen him thought that his uncanny beauty was something to envy and desire. He was tall and built even though many who saw him though he looked lithe. Combined with his unusually golden eyes these made him into a man that many women desired. Many had not been ashamed to state their desire. He found such easy conquests a bore and he mainly as a principle ignored them.

Right now though he needed a fight or a good fuck. Anything to get rid of the anger. He walked out into the night. The stares came. He ignored them. He had no reason to care what they thought. He was looking for a target. The one that would give him a nice challenge. A delightful scent drifted over the night air. It completely overpowered the stench of sweat and bodies and a canine grin formed on his lips. It seemed it would not be a battle of strength but a battle of pleasure that night. He knew he shouldn’t go after this woman but her scent enchanted him. It was so familiar. He needed to find it and so he walked into the park. He could feel his control slipping with each step he took into the darkened park. He had not had a good hunt in so long. His prey seemed so hapless. He had been following her for a good five minutes and she still had not seen him. He knew that she was nervous being there on her own. The crime rate against women were well known to all females. She was taking a risk that night and she would definitely learn from her mistake. She would think twice about walking in the dark alone after tonight and his smile grew.

She was beautiful. He watched her casual steps. She took her time to walk through the darkened area and he itched to take her in his arms. He had not been with anyone in so long that he knew that he was not going to be gentle. But she would like it. He would make sure that she would like it. They always did. He watched her light walking, her slim waist swinging in a dance of erotic temptation. His mouth watered as he thought about taking her in his arms. He walked closer his steps were slow and calculated. He was losing his precious control quickly. His inner youkai had chosen its prey and it was battling for dominancy. It wanted her and the beast was fighting the man. He could feel his body tightening in arousal. Images played in his mind. They were so close to real that he felt his heart rate pick up. It had been a really long time since he had been with someone. He stifled a moan as her scent made its way to him. It was some kind of flowery scent mixed wit the flavour of a woman.

It was time to make his presence known. He stepped on a branch and watched. Her fear was like a punch and he felt his arousal harden. He would definitely love this. She looked around her slowly, fearful. She seemed to relax until she saw him. He smiled a hunter’s smile as she started to walk fast. He could barely restrain the beast anymore. “Run,” he said before he let the beast have its free reign. He exalted in the chase. She ran for dear life. It had been so long for him. He felt free. Shedding his business cloak he took off after the running female. She was a smart one he thought as she swerved suddenly to the right. He had almost had her and a thrill rushed through him. This was exhilarating. He loved the chase.

She was crying.

She was incredibly fearful.

Smart woman

He chuckled as she continued to zigzag erratically. She had no idea where she was going. He couldn’t wait anymore. His blood was pumping through his body at alarming speeds and he feared that if he waited anymore he would mount her like the beast he was.

He could sense that she knew he was behind her. Again she dove to the side but he wasn’t letting her go. He quickly grabbed hold of her and she fell on her back. Pressing his advantage he held her down with his hand over her mouth. The scent of her fear was intoxicating. He breathed it in as he said, “Hello little ningen. Lets play a game,” and he brought his tongue down to her ear licking the rim softly.

She was trembling before him and it excited him but he, apart from the chase, did not like force. So looking at her tightly closed eyes, he kissed her closed eye lips softly, licking away her tears. He liked her taste and he felt his beast tremble with need. As he slowly trailed his tongue down her cheeks following the trail of the tears his lips made it to the corners of her mouth. Her lips they were so soft. Her chest was rising and falling at an alarming rate and as her breasts rubbed up against him with each breath he had to stifle a needy moan.

As he continued to ran his lips against hers. He could feel her heart beat increase but it was from something else and he smiled. He brought his moist tongue out to run it against the slit of her mouth’s opening and groaned. He was careful not to press his erection into her. He wanted to have sex with his little ningen right there on the forests floors but he wanted to seduce her. He knew that she was unwilling and conquering her that way would help the steam in his blood to die down but first he had to tempt her senses. So slowly he sucked her bottom lip into his mouth they were so soft there he had to struggle to keep from roughly ravaging her mouth then. Using his teeth he, nipped softly. A slight gasp escaped her. It was a mixture of surprise and the forbidden. He took it, plunging his tongue between her lips. He laced his fingers between her own, as he tasted her. She was sweet and so he had to have more. He ran his tongue over hers. She was trying to struggle but his hold on her was not one easily broken so she attempted to remain still and impassive. That is until he ran his tongue over her pallet to that part near the back of her throat, which could drive some people to orgasm. He withdrew to suck on her lips after a while and did it again. Her gasps heated his blood. He pulled away to look at her. She lay on the green grass, her eyes tightly closed. She was truly beautiful. She was a stranger and it was the most exciting thing.

Slowly her eyes opened and he could tell that she had liked his kiss and he grinned. He was still over her and so he went back down kissing her lips again before trailing down to her chin and slowly down to her neck. He stopped there for a moment. He loved a woman’s neck. Maybe it was because it was the place of marking that he found it so erotic and forbidden. He slowly licked his way down her neck. His tongue played over her pulse points and she trembled.

She could feel her body relaxing in arousal. She felt like she was doing something so forbidden and it was so exciting. He was frightening but he had yet to attack her. She lay there in his grasp. She had attempted to struggle but his grip had not budged. Her body had stiffened when his lips had drifted down her face licking the tears that he had brought there. She closed her eyes tightly as the feather light touch of his firm soft lips sent butterflies fluttering their wings in her stomach. She knew that what she was doing or allowing him to do was not right but there was a time in every woman’s life when she wanted to have anonymous sex. This man was being gentle and for some reason the chase had thrilled her. She felt ashamed that she was enjoying it but as a gasp left her lips she couldn’t find it in her to not like what he was doing. It was all she could do not to start writhing beneath him.

As his lips drifted to hers she started to tremble. It was light, minor tremors rushing through her body. She gasped out loud as her nipples continued to graze against his muscled chest. They had stiffened so quickly drawing the sound from her lips. He quickly entered her mouth then. His tongue battling with hers and her heart was slamming in her chest. It was so strange. She felt like she was doing something taboo and it was exciting. He slowly left her lips to seek out the other undiscovered parts of her body and she felt her feminine channels clench tightly.

She could feel it. She was aroused. She was going to let him have his way with her on the forest floor of an open park. He started to suck on her pulse point and she arched into him on a sharp intake of breath. His hands trailed under her shirt touching the flat skin of her stomach and she could feel the muscles in her stomach clenching. His hand was making its way to her breasts and her breathing increased. She closed her eyes as he drew ever closer to that point that wanted to feel his touch. She knew that when he touched her there, there would be no going back.

He chuckled over her sensitive skin and she moaned out loud. She wanted him to touch her so badly but she didn’t ask. Her eyes remained closed. As his hands drifted over her rapidly rising stomach he could feel her heart triple as his hands feathers over the underside of her breast and she gasped. She tried to move but his one remaining hand held her down tightly and that so excited her. She did not know who he was and he could be some serial killer but she was so fiercely excited that she couldn’t help it. She wanted him to take her.

His hands slowly crawled over the firm flesh of her breast and he growled. He left her neck to suck on the other exposed nipple. He did not care that it was covered in clothing he took it between his lips and started to suck roughly. Each suck of his lips on her nipple combined with his hand’s caressing had fiery trails making their way down her body to become feminine wetness. He was preparing her body for his invasion and she was more than cooperating. He stopped. Her arousal was more than he could bear he had to fight to control the need to mount her but he wouldn’t. He wanted to exhaust them both. He wanted her to remember him always.

She was openly writhing beneath him. “Oh god please don’t stop,” her voice was laced with thick desire as she moved her body seductively on the ground. It was an erotic dance, a dance, which called for mating and he felt triumph.

“I do not intend to little human…”
