I got to watch Ellen Degeneres demonstrate the latest workout marvel, the Hawaii Chair. I think that the people (a.k.a. actors) on the infomercial deserve an Academy Award. You will laugh till you cry, seriously:

I just got this as an email forward and figured I'd post it here instead. Hope you guys enjoy it. Have you heard of the "Hawaii Chair"? I guess it's a chair you can use while you work and it gives you a workout. The clip is from Ellen's TV show. It's very funny:)

There is an infomercial for a product called the Hawaii Chair that features and absurd scene where office workers are using the motorized exercise Hawaii Chair while trying to get work done at their desks:

Even a self-described "massagoholic" would not buy the product after seeing that scene in the Hawaii Chair infomercial. Even people in other countries have remarked on just how dumb the Hawaii Chair infomercial is.

Clips from the Hawaii Chair infomercial have even been featured on the TV shows Ellen and Attack of the Show.

After seeing the video of the Hawaii Chair infomercial, many people think the Hawaii Chair must be some sort of joke or prank, but the Hawaii Chair is one piece of exercise equipment that is all too real.

Discussion of the Hawaii Hula Chair infomercial has come up on message boards and people really do have a hard time believing that the Hawaii Hula Chair infomercial reall isn't some kind of a joke. The Hawaii Chair infomercial will probably go down as one of the all time greats!

The Hawaii Chair infomercial also has two catchy jingles: "Take the work out of your workout...The Hawaii Chair" and "If you can sit, you can get fit...The Hawaii Chair."

Ein Knaller-Infomercial eines Stuhles, der besonders in der Arbeit unsere körperliche Fitness unterstützen soll. Und wie es scheint, sind die Menschen in diesem nicht sehr modern anmutenden Büro mehr als begeistert vom TrimmdichStuhl.

"If you can sit, you can get fit". Eigentlich eine Anforderung, die mir als Powersitzer entgegenkommt. Aber ich frag mich ehrlich, wer sowas kauft. Ganz toll finde ich auch noch, wie in 0:53 eine Rollstuhlfahrerin durchs Bild fährt. Was soll das? Ist das eine subtile Message?

Ellen DeGeneres hat diesen Stuhl auch mal in der Praxis getestet (siehe hier...) .

Thanks, Jake! I'll start saving to get you this for your birthday. Fire Island is only months away, but wouldn't this make typing difficult? There's something oddly sexual about it. A few of the women seem to be enjoying it a little too much. Like, they're working that chair. Also, is there noise? My co-workers might not enjoy.

Mi compi π me avisa de este video que ha visto en el fantástico blog Pixel y Dixel, y que muestra el video de la nueva revolución mundial para trabajar tus abdominales (esa parte tan ingrata de nuestra anatomía) sin moverte de tu silla de trabajo... ya que es la propia silla la que hace el trabajo por ti... y voy yo y me lo creo.

Desde luego que los beneficios físicos derivados del uso de este "artilugio" serían más que discutibles, pero que te digan que puedes "seguir trabajando comodamente mientras lo usas", es mucho rizar el rizo... venga que prueben a tomarse un cafelito!!

Vamos, que como tengo yo la espaldita, me la compro y estoy de baja 6 meses como mínimo...

Señores de la teletienda: concentrense en inventar las capsulas Hoi-poi, que lo que hace falta es arreglar el problema del aparcamiento y los minipisos leñe!!
