Okay, A-Rod is nailing Madonna, or what is referred to in the sports industry as "your turn". Of course, all this is rumor but Madonna has a great track record of monogamy so we should probably ignore these alleged rumors. Ahem...sarcasm is hard to convey through the written word.

Today, we get the fresh rumor that Cynthia Rodriguez has flown to France to hook up with Lenny Kraviz, or what is referred to in the movie business as "your turn". Seriously, how many chicks does Lenny Kravitz have to show his privates? At last count, it's at 28,000,000...oddly enough, that is the exact amount of cash due to A-Rod in 2008 from the New York Yankees.

Sadly, I really wanted to post a picture of Jason Giambi superimposed over an old Strongman. You know, the guy with the mustache & barbells. Alas, I can't find the Strongman. Damn you Google Images!!

Clearly, I underestimated your knowledge of pop-culture trivia! You guys guessed it. The "mystery kitchen" I showed you yesterday does indeed belong to none other than Madonna!

The clues were:

1. Madonna's new album is called "Hard Candy." (It's "sweet.")

2. She collects paintings by Frida Kahlo and campaigned hard to play the Mexican artist in a movie about her. She wanted Marlon Brando, of all people, to play Diego Rivera. Salma Hayek got the green light to film her version and play the lead instead.

3. Madonna's $5 million contract with Pepsi came to an abrupt end after her "Like a Prayer" video freaked everybody out in 1984. Her two-minute long Pepsi commercial aired only once, during an episode of "The Cosby Show."

Her Manhattan apartment was decorated by her brother, Christopher Ciccone, and it was featured in Architectural Digest. Gossip columnist Janet Charlton tells us Christopher Ciccone's tell-all book about Madonna, coming out soon, is gonna be a doozy!

I love the old yearbook photos of Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone. It's amazing how much her daughter Lourdes looks like she did as a teenager, don't you think?

Madonna has three children: Lourdes (11), Rocco (7), and David (2), whose adoption from Malawi was recently approved. From what I've read, she's a very strict mom who has said there would be no boys for Lourdes until she turns 18.

"Late-night TV, junk food, and mess are not tolerated in my house," Madonna said. She doesn't like them to watch TV at all, in fact. And if they don't keep their toys and clothes put away, they may lose them altogether.

"My daughter has a problem picking things up in her room," she told a British newspaper. "So if you leave your clothes on the floor, they'll be gone when you come home." (If I maintained this policy, I'm afraid my children would have nothing to wear by now!)

Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie have dodged divorce rumors practically since the moment they got married (some of the most recent rumors were covered here and here). But they were spotted having dinner together in NYC earlier this week, and witnesses say they were holding hands. The singer's rep continues to insist, "There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce."

But seriously, the media is getting out of control. Its just another case of social control, this time it's the media that holds the grips of the reins and we are the horses that are being led on one direction.

Rumours that the London-based couple planned to split have been circulating for months, fuelled most recently by reports that the singer had lined up Fiona Shackleton, a lawyer for Paul McCartney in his bitter divorce from Heather Mills.

The speculation reached a fever pitch last week in London, where the Daily Mirror newspaper dedicated two front pages to the plight of the couple's marriage.

Madonna, 49, and Ritchie, 39, married in December 2000 at Skibo Castle in northeast Scotland. They met at a party hosted by ex-Police frontman Sting and his wife Trudie Styler.

First, I want to go to the parties that are hosted by Sting and his wife. It' no doubt that the entertainment was on point and I could imagine that the people watching was on point as well.

Second, who really settled here, Madonna or Guy Ritchie? In her defense, she is ten years older than him, and he was coming of making some hot movies, like Lock, Stock and Two smoking barrels…but for 50 almost, she is looking good in the picture, but you have to wonder what is going on under the hood. A lot of people have been there and I am not sure about all of them, like the Worm.

For Guy, is it that he made a kid trophy, so was he pot-committed and just pushed all-in?

I think that this story proves that the British have nothing better going on in their lives than to devote two front pages of coverage to this story. Maybe you might want to spend more time on your dental game, than dumb stories…

Que essa viagem toda de ser uma nobre inglesa é uma coisa muito anti-madonna, todos nós sabemos, imaginem a mulher que é tão inteligente, tão a frente do seu tempo, caçar faisões com espingarda, comprar galinhas premiadas e colecionar cavalos (caríssimos).
Madonna, a gente quer ver você se esfregando em dançarinos, arrasando no Maiozão lilás, esse CD novo seu é bem marromenos (Timbaland e Justin? Isso é coisa pra iniciante). Mas tudo bem, te amamos do mesmo jeito.

This is not exactly an affirmation of marital bliss, so it's time to lawyer-up and examine all the evidence! For your convenience, Popsquire put together this handy chart with evidence for both possibilities.

Popsquire prediction:  We should know if they still "Cherish" each other by the end of the year, when Madonna wraps up her tour and Guy releases his new movie.

However, I imagine it being exponentially better than what Columbia Pictures and Judd Apatow have in mind. Apparently, Columbia plans to release a comedy about Detective Holmes and his trusty side-kick, Watson starring Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat, Sweeney Todd) and Will Ferrell (Anchorman, Talladega Nights) respectively. Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder) is currently penning the script.

Who knows when this monstrosity will be released. All I know is Will Ferrell is spreading through Hollywood like cancer and must be stopped at any cost.

I really don't care about what the stars do with their personal lives (hahahaha. . that was funny especially since I have a blog that ONLY cares about what they do in their personal lives). In any event, Madonna's rep tells today that the music icon and her husband Guy Ritchie have "no plans" to divorce. "Guy is in town (New York) with his wife and family. I can officially state that there are no plans for them to divorce," a statement from spokesperson Liz Rosenberg said.

He must have laid down the thugizzle for her to stop it with the nonsense talk of divorce! Way to go GUY!!

According to a piece on Yahoo called appropriately, "Can celebrity relationships really survive?" there's a list of four reasons why these couples fail.

1. Loads of temptation (think Jennifer, Brad and Angelina)

2. Too much publicity (think Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez)

3. One is more famous/successful (Reese and Ryan)

4. Reality TV (Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey)

Maybe having it all, isn't as easy as it seems. We don't know the status of the Madonna/Ritchie union and may never know what drove them apart (loads of confidentiality agreements brokered by lawyers and signed by famous couples prohibit anyone from talking to the press). It's sad for the kids, because at the end of the day, even if you're Madonna's son, you still don't want your parents to be apart.

I always got the impression that Guy was more low key than Madonna, but that he let her have the spotlight and was happy to be on the sidelines. I like them as a couple and hope they work it out, but if not, let them go their separate ways quietly (yeah, right). Think about those three little kids and how awful it would be to see your parent's mug on the cover of every tabloid week after week.

Three things about A-Rod have hit the newsstands today:

1) A-Rod has declined an invitation to participate in the HR Derby during the AS break. While many Yankee fans want to see him in there, Rodriguez notes that the derby could cause him to tweak his swing which would be problematic for the Yankees in the second half. Basically, when trying to hit home runs, your swing is a bit different from when you hit a liner or slap one the other way. A-Rod doesn't want his swing to become an uppercut sort of swing and says, "I've worked hard for my swing and I definitely don't want to let anything get in the way of it. My only responsibility this year is to the New York Yankees." I think most fans are fine with that reasoning. Jason Giambi (his swing is an uppercut swing, so it doesn't matter) has expressed an interest to be in the derby but most of the other invites have been kept under wraps. However, I have heard that Josh Hamilton has agreed to be in the derby (I've got money on that guy).

2) Next, A-Rod has been nominated for Best Male Athlete at the ESPY Awards (ESPN's award show). Tiger Woods, Tom Brady and Kobe Bryant will also contend for the honor. If you're interested, the program will be aired on July 20th (the Red Sox are nominated for Best Team, so you can always watch and then turn it off at that segment or even just kick the nearest Red Sox fan).

2) Finally, some totally non-baseball rumormongering has hit a variety of media outlets. Apparently, A-Rod has been visiting Madonna's home "late at night" and now we're supposed to believe Alex and Madonna are now having an affair (they say they're just friends). At the end of the featured article, it cites A-Rod's strippergate situation from last year and says at least A-Rod is moving up in his taste in women. Frankly, that's a poor statement. Madonna looks like Skeletor and that stripper looked pretty good to me (sorry Mrs. A-Rod!).

The word today (according to US Magazine) is that A-Rod has hooked up with Madonna. Wait...it's on two gossip sites (here is the Radar Online story) so you know it's true. Madonna is fresh off rumors of an upcoming divorce from Guy Ritchie. Thank goodness...maybe Ritchie can get back to making good movies.

Why did I defend A-Rod? Trust me, I'm no Yankee fan or A-Rod supporter. It's as simple as this: the guy is an awesome baseball player. He's one of the greatest to ever play & this had clouded my judgment. My simple-minded, male sports-brain could not see past his actual sports greatness.

You will no longer get any defense from me A-Rod...please try & hold back your tears.
