What is the truth and what does it feel like?  The truth is, has always been, and it is never changing. Truth hidden would defy it's nature. A lie may appear to work for a while, but the truth will and must make itself known. "The truth will set you free" is a widely known phrase from the bible, "Jesus was saying to those who had believed Him, "If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free." Book of John. But what does this really mean? It means that ignorance and complacency are not the way to living a happy and productive life because only the truth will shower us with the one thing worth pursuing in life, peace of mind. Nothing in the entire world will provide a man with such feeling of poise, balance and peace than the truth. Notice that it is always the ignorance of the truth that creates all anxiety, stress, ill-will, discord and all other feelings we are meant to live without. The existence of these feelings within are a sure indication of how far one is from the truth.

How does one acquire peace of mind? Through self-accountability, self-responsibility, honesty and integrity. Living our lives by comparing ourselves to others and allowing others to dictate what our minds should be thinking without any effort from our part to investigate for ourselves the truth about everything that surrounds us, is the perfect recipe for self-imposed ignorance and unhappiness. When you know the truth about the happenings of the world nothing you hear can take away your peace of mind because you have learned to make a sound judgement for yourself based on all accounts and not just by what someone said no matter who that someone is. There is a whole world of illusions and sensationalism out there that although may appear to be real could not be farther away from the truth of life.

What does the truth feel like? It feels peaceful and sure without doubt, fear, or the presence of extreme emotions. It always reveals itself in a state of loving silence, peace, and balance. The truth heals you and protects you for all the right reasons, your life together with each breath of air you take emanate from the never changing truth of life. But you know, you've got to open up your heart to know it and learn to recognize it within and never ever without. It is a process that we can all learn to put into practice for the growth and the expansion of our souls and ultimately our own lives.

Stuff in my head: Some people say that the truth hurts when what they really mean is that there is nothing more painful than to have believed a lie.

Life Is A Gift

Today before you think of saying an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to God for a companion.

Before you complain about your children, think of someone who can only dream of having them.

Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn't clean or sweep, think of the homeless.

Before whining about the distance you drive, think of someone who WALKS the same distance.

When you're tired and you complain about your job, think of the unemployed, the disabled and those who wished they had your job.

Before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another, remember that not one of us are without sin and we all answer to one Maker.

And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down, put a smile on your face and thank God you're alive and still around to enjoy life and the beauty that surrounds us. Thank God for the family and friends who's companies you enjoy.

1Co 12:4-10; Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit...
For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

But wait a minute - isn't faith required for salvation? Then how is faith one of the gifts that one receives after salvation?

It gets worse. If our faith is a gift from God, and if salvation requires faith, then those who are saved were chosen by God to be saved (just as Calvin thought). Then those of us who do not believe were not meant to believe. If God created us and we were not meant to be saved, then it was clearly God's plan to create us for the purpose of torturing us throughout eternity for our unbelief.

One popular (if inane) chorus that Christians often chant is that it takes too much faith to be an atheist. Rather than respond with reason which all to often falls on deaf ears and sluggish intellects, we should simply quote 1Co 12:4-10 and respond: "it's a gift from God."

I guess I have been working hard...now that I have a holiday, I should go and enjoy the holiday, the food, drinks, family, friends accompany, and enjoy the relaxing period, while wait patiently for the news from organizations/companies...

I should appreciate...

The following are fragments from my life, specifically pertaining to how my gift was developed.

Childhood. As I went to sleep at night, I would see outlined shadows moving around my room. At first I was mesmerized, although I would always have to hide my head underneath the blanket to fall asleep. After awhile, I got used to it and would talk to the outlined shadows. I would pick up their chatter within my head. Coinciding with this development I began having vivid dreams… amazing colors… animals.

Then two things happened almost simultaneous: 1) I began seeing these spirits during the daytime. 2) Anything tangible now had a white outline surround it.

Adolescence. Path-markers began to develop. They are basically vivid premonitions that I get when I’m asleep that a day, week, month, etc. later come true. It’s creepier than déjà vu when it happens, but I so enjoy them.

My psychic abilities started to kick in stronger during this time. Now instead of simply sensing a spirit, I was able to pick up more details from the individual.

I attended gatherings with my mother and her friends who were really into the localized New Age Moment. I made trips to the Indian Reservation to pick up supplies, e.g. crystals, sweet grass, etc. I began working with divination tools, e.g. tarot, scrying, etc.

University. I placed both feet down in the Physical World and put the Spiritual World on the back burner. I was tired of trying to balance both worlds harmoniously. Eventually in my third year I cleared away the stagnate cobwebs that had formed.

In the laundry room of Arbor Cove, a university apartment complex, I saw my first decked out spirit.

Now. I am constantly seeking knowledge and friendships, expanding my spiritual circle. I continue to hone techniques that have proven effective and practice new techniques I stubble across. I am inspired by stories I read about, view on television, and / or hear through conversations.

Que canción más bonita. En cuanto la escuché no pude evitar "enamorarme" de ella. Tiene un ritmo muy propio de Mr.Children y además musicalmente es rica. Para acabarlo de rematar la letra es bonita y mientras la estuve leyendo (con la música de fondo y siguiéndola) no pude evitar sonreír en la mayoría de la canción. Como busca un regalo y siendo algo tan "sencillo" como un color que le vaya a la perfección a esa persona.

im pschyrembel/klinisches wörterbuch las ich über fluor folgendes:

ja da fragt man sich doch ... was hat fluor/fluorid (salz der fluorwasserstoffsäure/flußsäure, HF) im trinkwasser zu suchen ??? und im salz, in zahpasten, in zahngels, in tabletten für säuglinge zur "kariesprophylaxe" ... und zur therapie der osteoporose ... ???

alternatives zähneputzen mit schlämmkreide

in pulverform gibt es das als calciumcarbonat in apotheken 250 g zu einem preis von 1.50 bis 3 oiro. die meisten apotheker sind so nett und geben einem eines von diesen leeren salbentöpfchen mit. darin kann man ein monatsportiönchen schlämmkreide wunderbar aufbewahren. man taucht einfach die angefeuchtete zahnbüste ein: putzen. mach ich seit über einem halben jahr.

recherchiert mal im internet, dieses pulver eignet sich auch wunderbar als mildes putzmittel u. v. m.

wenn ich dann ab und zu mal diesen pfefferminzgeschmack im mund brauche, greife ich auf eine zanhpaste von DM zurück, calendula-zahncreme.

bei secret-tv hatte ich mir ein interessantes interview mit dr. mauch über die "bombe unter der achselhöhle" angesehen ... grob zusammengefaßt enthalten die meisten deos einen inhaltsstoff/aluminium der die poren/lymphbahnen verstopft. schon durch das aufsprühen führt man dem körper giftstoffe zu, zudem gelangen körperflüssigkeiten/gifte die der körper normalerweise über die lymphbahnen in den achselhöhlen ausscheidet, so nicht mehr nach außen, wandern zurück in den körper und siedeln sich an den schwächsten zellen an. das kann die zellen so verändern, dass sie zu krebszellen mutieren und sonstige krankheiten hervorrufen.

alternativ: es gibt deoroller, die diesen inhaltsstoff nicht enthalten.

ich benutze nur noch die  "aroma creme" von lush. ein stück für 9.90 oiro. 

du  trägst mit dem finger eine überaus geringe menge auf, stecknadelkopfgroß würde ich sagen, und dann hast du *dich* zum letzten mal gerochen. *g

ich hab gedacht das wär ein witz, als ich den ausdruck "chinarestaurant-syndrom" zum ersten mal hörte. gleich im pschyrembel nachgeschaut und siehe da:

In Gewürzmischungen allerdings gibt es keine Begrenzungen, somit kann man unbemerkt eine Menge zu sich nehmen. Der Geschmacksverstärker kommt in vielen Fertigprodukten vor - insbesondere in Sojasaucen.

natürlich behauptet man, glutamat sei "nicht unbedingt" schädlich. nee iss klar, oder?

es ist einfach billiger als alles andere, womit man auf natürliche weise den geschmack von speisen intensivieren könnte. logisch dass die industrie das billigste verwendet.

und logisch dass die nachricht der unbedenklichkeit verbreitet wird.

aber ... man ist ja bestrebt, die arbeitsplätze in den KRANKENkassen zu erhalten. wo kämen wir denn da hin? die wachsen wie die pilze aus dem boden, weil der mensch immer kranker wird. wie das nur kommt? hm ...

was ich gut finde ... man muß nicht unbedingt im bio-laden einkaufen, um glutamat- und geschmacksverstärkerfreie lebensmittel zu kaufen. mindestens ein bekannter hersteller von produkten wie soßenpulver und fertigsüppchen verzichtet jetzt auch schon auf diese schädlichen zusätze. knorr. hat mich total überrascht, sehr gefreut. vielleicht machen die das auch schon länger so, hab ich aber erst kürzlich entdeckt.

aber man kann ... im bioladen einkaufen. und wer jetzt sagt, das ist alles viel zu teuer, der möge in seinen vorräten nach abgelaufenem aldy- und sonstigem discounter material schauen.

wir kaufen auf vorrat so viel wie wir gar nicht brauchen, bis die lebensmittelhaltbarkeit überschritten ist und entsorgt werden muß. kaufen wir im bioladen, so gehen wir sorgfältiger mit der ware um, weiß ich aus eigener erfahrung. sorry wenn ich WIR sage, aber ich behaupte einfach mal, dass das auf einen großteil  menschen zutrifft, die sich all dessen nicht bewußt sind. oder war ich da ein einzelfall?

( sicher nicht nur ) im DM - drogeriemarkt gibt es kräutersalz und sonstige würzmittel ohne zusatzstoffe. da gibt es auch mais-chips ohne glutamat und co. lecker kann ich nur sagen.

hier gerade noch einen gefundenen artikel von dr. mauch über die krankmachenden gifte. achtung, der mann ist ziemlich sauer ... um es mal so zu sagen.

okay, für die übel die all das verursacht gibt es ja glücklicherweise medikamente, die man jetzt auch schon im einzelhandel  erwerben kann. z. b. paracetamol und ibuprofen. mag sich da mal einer die nebenwirkungen durchlesen?

das paßt alles wunderbar zusammen und ist nur und ausschließlich auf profit ausgerichtet.

warum nicht nur alternative lebensmittel nicht groß public gemacht werden ( woher will ich das eigentlich wissen ... ), sondern auch alternative heilmethoden wie unter anderem universelle heilenergien, die jedem menschen frei zur verfügung stehen ist doch jedem klar, oder?

warum es heilpraktikern besonders schwer gemacht wird, prüfungen zu bestehen, warum überhaupt das ganze thema lieber belächelt und schlechtgeredet wird als ernstgenommen und als alternative für uns menschen genutzt wird... muß man sich das ernsthaft fragen?

also, was machen wir nun?

kaufgewohnheiten überdenken, genau auf die packung schauen, wenn man's einmal weiß, muß man nicht mehr nachsehen.

ach, hätte ich doch beinahe let's talk about gelatine vergessen ...

also ich schaue auf jede joghurt- pudding-  streichkäsepackung etc. , ob gelatine darin  enthalten ist. gelatine wird UNTER ANDEREM aus lecker knorpel, haut, sehnen, knochen von nutztieren erzeugt. wenn rind mit beigemischt wird, dann BSE-frei, durfte ich gerade lesen.

brauche ich sowas in meinem essen?

und ... was heißt UNTER ANDEREM ???  ach ja, fischgräten und so. wie mögen die abfälle vom *heringsfilet in tomatensoße* wohl zum gelatinehersteller gelangen? hm ... was für eine naive frage, hätte ich doch bei der *sendung mit der maus* damals besser aufgepaßt ...

warum mischt man uns sone shize ins essen, die dann auch noch krank macht ???

das jetzt mal allgemein gefragt zu all dem oben beschriebenen.

denkt ihr immer noch, dass irgendjemand von den menschen die im bereich wirtschaft/industrie gewisse "fäden in der hand" halten, wirklich und wahrhaftig an unserer GESUNDHEIT interessiert sind?

kann man mit unserer gesundheit geld verdienen, profit machen?

ich habe dazu meine eigenen ideen.

und jeder von uns ist aufgerufen, sich um seine GESUNDHEIT selbst zu bemühen, es gibt kaum andere, die das für uns tun. also bitte ... geht sorgsam mit euch um, ihr habt alle das prädikat *besonders wertvoll*.

und wißt ihr ... ich war mal ein totaler tütensuppenfan, unter ein paar süppchen am tach ging ich nicht ins bett. klar gabs auch selbstgemachte gemüsesüppchen, dann aber mit glutamatwürfeln drin, logisch. und immer auch noch ein bisschen flüssigglutamat. und da wundert man sich, dass man nach dem essen mehr hunger hat als vorher. suchtmittel. geschmacksverstärker und appetitanreger.

und dann hab ich auch keine tasse tee oder kaffee ohne drei süßstoffperlchen getrunken. wenn mal ein viertes reinfiel hab ich mir nicht extra die mühe gemacht, das aus der tasse zu pulen, und ich hab VIEL tee getrunken ... ach ja, und es gibt ja so tolle bunte mundspülungen die fluor enthalten ... und und und.

ich wette all das hat damals ( vor etwas mehr als zwei jahren - unter anderem )  dazu beigetragen, dass ich an fibromyalgie erkrankte, im volksmund als weichteilrheuma bekannt.  und heute  bei mir nicht mehr vorhanden. die zahlreichen massiven vergiftungserscheinungen lassen sich in das umfassende krankheitsbild dieser diagnose einfügen.

kann schon sein, dass ich ein mal im jahr beim chinesen essen gehe, auch, dass ich mal ein gummibärchen MIT gelatine esse, wenn mir danach ist und ich grad nix anderes in reichweite habe. das nur, damit ihr nicht denkt, ich hab in irgendeiner weise panik wegen all dem shize den man uns über die nahrungsmittel und sonstiges zuträgt. ich bin da ganz gelassen und lasse die dinge einfach  weg, bis ich alternativen für mich gefunden habe.

hey, 22.44 uhr - gut, ich hab jetzt nicht nur an dem beitrag geschrieben, aber trotzdem ein paar stündchen gebraucht ... wenn ihr infos in der richtung für mich habt, nehme ich gerne entgegen.

und jetzt ab ins bettchen mit euch, deckt euch gut zu und kuschelt fein ... aber nicht mehr in federkissen, oder?  *lächel* 

und ohje ... ich konnte jetzt nicht anders ... ich hab dazu gerade folgendes gefunden:

• Zum Handraufen legt man die Gans kopfunter vor sich auf den Schoß und hält mit der einen Hand die Ruder fest. Das Rupfen der losen Federn mit der anderen Hand dauert nur wenige Minuten.
• Bei der Trockenrupfmaschine ziehen rotierende Scheiben die Federn aus der Haut. Vorsicht, dass es dabei nicht zu Hautverletzungen kommt. (g.fragt: meint ihr, das da jemand drauf achtet?)

Bei Zuchttieren können Federn und Daunen von Brust, Bauch und Rücken genutzt werden. Unter den Flügeln, wo die besten Daunen sitzen, darf nur eingeschränkt gerauft werden, da die Tiere beim Verlust der Stützfedern die Flügel hängen lassen. Mastgänse rauft man in erster Linie deshalb, damit sie zum Zeitpunkt der Schlachtung ein einheitlich entwickeltes Gefieder aufweisen.

Over the years, I have made progress in working out what she likes for prezzies and what falls flat. Clothes? No way. She's very particular about clothes. Dustable knick knacks? You've got to be kidding. Jewelry? That depends. She likes bracelets but never wears them because "They get in the way and bug me.." Necklaces have the same issue. She likes the idea, but the actual wearing of them is another thing. Rings? No. I don't cal her "Action Girl" for nothing. Rings are far too delicate and would get crunched or wacked very quickly. Her wedding ring (in fact, the only ring she wears) was actually selected very carefully based on durability and looks. The Durability issue, however, came first during the selection process.

So, that pretty much leaves me with earrings. She loves earrings and she has lots of them. I have been buying her earrings for all sorts of occasions for years now and have followed the progression from 'long and dangly' to "posts, only please" and lately, back to 'long and dangly' again. The problem is that I almost ALWAYS get her earrings. She always appreciates them but it was starting to feel too easy, to obvious. I needed something new.

I also wanted something that said "I love you" in a new and interesting way. I love spending time with her and we used to do a lot of out door activities together such as mountain biking, skiing and rock climbing, but since the arrival of our kiddos, that's been pretty much a memory. So, I spent some time thinking about an outdoor sport that we could do, just the two of us, that wouldn't take too much time and we'd both enjoy. Then I had an idea. It was risky, but I hoped that she would like it.

Yesterday was her birthday. She informed us all that she was turning twenty nine again this year, since it went so well the other times and we made plans to get up at a reasonable hour and do something she enjoys. On the morning, we packed Short Stack and Lulu Belle into the wagon and headed off strawberry picking. Short Stack is still to young to remember doing this last year and we were a bit dubious about how this would work out. We shouldn't have worried. As soon as he got his empty pint box, he transformed into a dump truck (his favorite thing to be) and made about fifty trips back and forth from us to the quickly filling flat. He dubbed it the "flat bed". If any activity can involve trucks, he's happy. Lulu Bell mostly got hoisted along in her car seat and watched clouds and bugs.

We finished up picking and after a quick cleanup to get the strawberry juice off of Short Stack's face, hands, chest, neck, ears and arms, we headed back. I had told Action Girl that her present was at my shop. I got the obligatory, "You didn't have to get me anything" speech but there was no way that I'd let her birthday go by with out something given. As we got closer, I got more and more nervous. This was either going to work or really, REALLY bomb. When we pulled in I tried to explain that this was... an unusual gift. It was something that she didn't need and probably never thought of getting. I explained that I got it because I wanted to spend more time with her and I thought this might be a good way to do that.

Boy, did she look confused and perhaps, just a little bit worried.

I ran in, got it and came out with this...

It's a M96 Swedish Mauser built in 1917 and it's in fantastic shape. For those of you who haven't read the "In a Nut Shell (bag?)" page or missed the other posts I've made about firearms, or the fact that the name of the blog comes from two of my favorite fire arms, let me just say, "I love shooting." Though her upbringing did not involve guns, Action Girl has turned out to be a very good shot. The problem was that the high power stuff I shoot tends to kick her around too much and thus, she doesn't go with me very often. She likes the little .22 caliber rifles we have but they are really only good to about fifty to seventy yards and for accuracy over distance, you need more power.

My sweet Action Girl... truth be told, is a power junkie. Just ask her. Her idea of a boat is a center console, 25 foot Mako with a couple of 225's on the back. She can drive any piece of heavy equipment you can name and handle it flawlessly. She drives multi-ton sea going vessels for a living. She, to put it succinctly, likes power.

The Swedish M98 Mauser is nothing to sneeze at. The bullet it fires may be smaller than most of the military cartridges if the day, but at 6.5 millimeters in diameter, it's still plenty big; just not big enough to bruise your shoulder after a morning at the range. It is also very beautiful, as old rifles go. My hope was that if she had the right rifle and the knowledge that it was hers, then perhaps she would feel compelled to drop the kids with the grandparents and go shooting with me some Sunday mornings.

Big gamble. She was either going to love it or hate it and I was really nervous. I put it in her hands, told her what it was and... a big smile broke across her face. Then she started working out how we could slip away this weekend so she could go and shoot HER rifle! *phew!*

So, we have a 'date' this Sunday to go and punch some holes in paper targets at 100 yards. I'll bring one of my usual rifles and this time, she'll have her own. I can't wait. And the best part is, neither can she. I wonder what earrings accessorize best with a rifle?

My birthday is in July—in a couple of weeks, in fact, in case you need to prepare—but my mom starts asking for my wish list in say, December. She likes to shop obscenely early for Christmas too, starting around June.

Any other time of the year, I find myself browsing store windows murmuring I must have that! Asked to come up with an idea on demand though, I draw a blank not unlike the permanently confused look of our leader. I can always come up with a few book titles and look forward to my stack being replenished around now, but there's not a lot I want. I'm trying to reduce the "stuff" I already have, so I've placed a moratorium on buying me things. Gift cards are my friends, especially if they're for an experience like dinner or a movie, a massage or a class.

Of course, if you're really asking me what I'd like then I'd have to say Sox-Yankees tickets or better yet, season tickets and countless Sox wins. Yeah, that's it. Or, wait: a clean desk. Now that would be a gift.
