The compensation plan for EDC is called a modified 2-Up pay plan. Important that you understand what this means, which is you have to pass up two sales to your sponsor. If you are new to internet marketing this type of plan can be very difficult for you.

A person just starting EDC depends on their sponsor to mentor them with their first 2 sales. Now after you make your first 2 sales you have now broken away from you sponsor and are their direct competition. The question here is what reason your sponsor has at this point to continue to train you with this business opportunity. Your sponsor is now begin to train his new sign-ups with their first two sales to make his income.

The conclusion here is that EDC Gold or EDC Diamond is not a scam but a real business opportunity but with a problem in the compensation plan.

Which I explained before but just needs repeated, a modified 2-up pay plan does not promote a team atmosphere. When you sponsor a person you train them to make their first 2 sales, you really want to mentor that person and continue to benefit from your training hard work. They now break away from you and you don't make any more sales from them. At this point the sponsor has no motivation to mentor their members.

Past relationships I believe I have only broken up with ONE of my boyfriends. All of them have either wanted to go back to their ex, wanted more pussy, or were just plain fucking confused all the time. In the end though after the relationships have been put under for a while, these men wanted to come back. They want their "mama" they want to feel loved and cared for. Maybe I'm just an easy target who men feel they can do whatever they want to because I'm such a GOOD girlfriend. But maybe not I am Peruvian with an attitude, and I don't stand for that shit. I guess I make people think too much sometimes and I myself do it.

I tell it like it is and if I'm feeling something I'll tell it as well. Why is it so hard for men to sit and talk about a relationship? Is it just all the men I have had relationships with? I don't know.

One thing is having an argument and talking about the issues, another is having an argument and trying to shush it in order for peace to be maintained. I believe that is holding back what you really want to say or feel. Another argument and BOOM! all those feelings left unsaid come out of nowhere, car crash! And since all this adrenaline is already flowing through the body it makes it easier for the person holding their feelings to say or do something they really DIDN'T want to do. I don't want to quiz, fix people I just want words unspoken I want to hear what YOU have to say and quite frankly why wouldn't ANYONE want that. I want to be heard, I want my opinion to be voiced, I want YOU to hear what I am feeling. I want to hear what YOU'RE feeling. I am not a JUDGE. I am not here to judge.

Back to Chris. So all this bullshit. 2 weeks being single and like the fool in love I would fall into his arms and get shown the love an affection I have had when we were together, but he would say "I am not trying to lead you on, I just missed you." What the fuckkkk! Basically saying I just want you to show me that I am loved and cared for but I still want to be single because I haven't realized how good you are to me and really I am such a fool for doing this. I understand men mature later but come on. If you do not think you are playing games when you are doing this, you are extremely mistaken. That doesn't work. You want the comfort and love of the girl that is there for you and cares and loves you, but you want to be single cause it's the summer and all I'm holding you back from  sticking your penis in another female, kissing or rubbing another female. That's basically IT. The only rule about being in a relationship is you cannot fuck around with other people. That's it. and that's what I kept and will keep telling Chris. I mean of course this all in the course of two weeks.

Another thing that really throws me off is this girl, a girl that did some "stuff" with chris back in the day. I mean I have met this girl she seems like a cool chick, but Chris and her slipped, I mean no cheating but it was a small slip. Then when Chris and I broke up he really didn't hesitate to text her and tell her "Ruthie and I broke up :(" Umm what is that? Did he tell her so she can feel sorry for him? Did he tell her that so he can feel like he can get some game? To make things better he asks "do you ever think about how we messed around" I DONT KNOW. I mean it has only been twice, but it seems like he goes to this girl because she gives him attention? He wants to feel like a pimp? I really don't know. I do confront him about this and he says NEVER, that was just then(we were broken). That isn't really my point the things is, is he always going to run to this girl for some kind of attention. He says no I LOVE YOU I would NEVER cheat on you ladada. I believe him. Yes I do. but I am not a stupid girl. and I don't believe in mercy when it comes to cheating. You fuck me over, I'll fuck YOU up. :)

We did get back together but in a way that makes it seem like I only did get back with you because we had sex at the moment. Then again he hasn't broken up with me? So that must mean something. I was talking to Chris yesterday, questioning him, putting him under pressure, asking the same questions over and over telling him if he was 100 percent sure and committed to me, that if he wants to really be with me etc. I really do HATE his reasons for everything I mean its understandable to an EXTENT. Why did you do this and that chris? "Because that's how i felt at the moment:because when i see you i feel different" This is probably the most confused kid I have ever met. I mean yes I love Chris. But he lacks self control, he lacks speaking up, he lacks telling people how he really feels, and this is really bad because when he has his down episodes, it gets bad, really bad. There's a side of Chris that people really do not know. Only I know and maybe his parents sister etc. When Chris gets depressed, he gets DEPRESSED. I mean he's not the type to keep this going on but its brutal, and scares me. I mean all I have said makes him look like a dog, (but then again all men are dogs at one point)but no one really knows Chris how I KNOW him, and he's someone I want sticking around for the rest of my life, whether it be together or just as friends.

Regardless of all of this I love the person he is.

Anyhoo, Chris and I were "single" when we went to EDC together with all my amigas but we spent all night together. Wooo! I want to go back. Those blue Buddhas were nicccee. The lights, the music, the beat. I mean for people who have never experienced a rave under the influence they are really missing out. I mean I am not a E head, but I have done E. Any person that has done E for the first time at a rave can proudly tell you that they had "the best fucking time of their life" . I understand people are opposed to drugs or can see me as an ignorant person by saying that you CAN'T die from doing E but you only have one life, the leaving hell out of that life because it's only ONE. We were created to reproduce and die. Why not add some really fun and memorable experiences in between and if you do live to be 100, the hundreds of stories you'll have available for your grandchildren. Really what more can you ask for, then a life that you feel you've lived to fullest.

Aimee, Justin, Jomarc, Danah, Chris and I played pictionary last night. It was soo much fun. The guys really sucked. and their drawings did too, especially Chris'. Aimee and Justin brought some alcoholic beverage from Cancun it was thick but it was good. Another thing about Chris' that I love are his friends, my friends. They're all really good people and hilarious. And they all have  very unique personalities. Those are one of the reasons I am really glad I am Chris' gf. The group of friends he has are like no other, considering they have been friends since grade school and still are friends till now. It makes me want to cry like a little bitch. AAHH I wish I could just sit her and "write" for hours but I am sleepy and off and have a long day ahead of me.

I kinda wish more people read my blog, but I think some people would get in trouble.

In recent years the Port has experienced a resurgence in waterborne transportation. Today, the Port is the largest port complex on the East Coast, serving 30 counties in the New York Metropolitan area, with a population of 22 million. The Port handles a large share of the country’s international liquid cargo, containerized cargo and vehicles. More than 90% of imported goods arrive by vessels. Most of the international ocean-going vessels rely on the work boats based in the New York Harbor to provide bunkering, feeder services and repair. Most of these maritime support companies in the Port are located along the north shore of Staten Island and Brooklyn. Before I go any further I want to make sure readers understand that software itself can neither be compliant nor non-compliant. It is the implementation and use of software that determines actual compliance. Therefore, one could envision a system without a lot of native features designed to support 21 CFR Part 11 and achieve compliance through the application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other controls. Conversely, one could conceive of a system that inherently better supports compliance through specific features.

As a member of the core OpenClinica development team, I have been involved in tackling one of the key pieces of 21 CFR Part 11 guidance that causes a considerable amount of confusion: electronic signatures. As a refresher, electronic signatures are a system feature used to ensure that actions taken by users of a system are attributable in a legally binding manner. 21 CFR Part 11 looks at System Controls, Signature Controls, and Password Controls as components of electronic signatures.

The forthcoming release of OpenClinica (version 2.5) will offer new ways of verifying that the data being provided for a subject is Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, and Accurate (ALCOA).

Different users in the context of OpenClinica will need to verify the data they are providing are truly accurate and complete. One of the users may have a data entry role. In order to show the data being provided truly is ALCOA this user must enter their password before completing data entry. This will also ensure the user entering the information is in fact the same person that logged into the application in the first place.

An investigator in OpenClinica will need to verify all data are accurate and complete for a subject’s event, or the complete subject “case book.” OpenClinica will allow the user to sign event by event whereby the investigator is stating that all of the information in the CRFs for each event contains original and accurate data. Before signing for the subject’s event or case book, the investigator will be allowed to go through each one of the CRFs to make sure all discrepancies have been cleared up, and all the data are complete.

Every step a user takes to sign a CRF, an event, or the subject case book is being audited in the application so there will always be a record of when each action took place.

This has been a brief explanation of how OpenClinica 2.5 will further support clinical trials where the results will need to be provided to the FDA. The new electronic signatures feature allows users who are implementing and using the software to become more compliant with 21 CFR part 11 requirements.

Majalah Business Week (edisi Indonesia), nomor 16 tanggal 25 Juni 2008, mengulas tentang ekonomi dunia yang memasuki revolusi menuju less cash society.
Dan sekarang ini fenomena tersebut sudah merambat ke Indonesia.

Fenomena finansial menarik dalam tahun 2008 ini adalah pergerakan menuju less cash society , yang mulai terasa gaungnya.

Hal ini terbukti, bank-bank Nasional dan perusahaan telekomunikasi mulai mengimplementasikan konsep "dompet elektronik" sebagai alat pembayaran transaksi retail (micro payment, pembayaran bernilai kurang dari Rp 100.000,-).

Transaksi retail yang mulai eksis antara lain : tiket busway di Jakarta, gerai fast food, SPBU Pertamina, pengisian pulsa telpon seluler, SMS Banking, dll.

Pangsa pasar micro payment yang bakal diperebutkan perbankan paling tidak mencapai Rp 113 triliun (hmm... bisnis yang gurih nih !!), di mana pada saat ini 77 % transaksi retail masih dilakukan secara cash.

Apabila suatu bank dapat menjadi pemain utama dalam layanan dompet elektronik, dapat dipastikan jumlah nasabah dan uang yang disimpan di bank tersebut akan bertambah secara signifikan.

Apalagi masih ditambah dengan pendapatan fee yang didapat bank atau perusahaan telekomunikasi dari transaksi pembayaran secara elektronik.

Hambatan utama implementasi dompet elektronik adalah belum adanya standardisasi alat EDC (Electronic Data Capture), sehingga alat EDC yang dipakai sebuah bank belum tentu sesuai dengan bank yang lain.
Dan memang, sekarang ini belum ada standardisasi alat EDC dari Bank Indonesia.

Eksistensi kemajuan teknologi akan membuat bola salju dalam perkembangan implementasinya... semakin lama akan semakin cepat.

JPOS sudah dengan otomatis akan mengenerate bitmap sesuai field yang kita isi dalam kasus diatas bila kita beda ISO8583 message menjadi seperti ini:

0800 menunjukan MTI, 0220000000000000 menunjukkan bitmap dan bila dijadikan binary akan menunjukan bahwa benar bit 7 dan 11 yang aktif berisi data element (panjangnya hanya 64 bit karena tidak terdapat sencondary bitmap), sisanya adalah data elementnya.

Selain itu JPOS juga bisa memecah kembali ISO8583 message yang masih berupa string panjang menjadi objek java kembali. Codenya yang bisa disisipkan dibawah code diatas sebagai berikut:

Mungkin ada yang bingung bagaimana JPOS bisa mempack dan unpack secara tepat ISO8583 message, semua itu karena adanya packager. Packager yang membantu JPOS membuat ISO8583 sesuai standar dan juga membantu membongkarnya agar bisa kembali menjadi objek java. JPOS menyediakan beberapa packager. Tapi yang sering saya pakai adalah Generic Packager karena packager tersebut sangat flexible dan gampang dicustom. Generic Packager meload semua konfigurasi dari xml file yang berisikan format dan standar baik itu tipe dan length dari isofield atau data element. Kadangkala didunia nyata beberapa field itu disesuaikan dengan sistem dan negara makanya biasanya ada perubahan length dari data element, dengan generic packager bila ada perubahan tinggal diganti di xmlnya saja.

Source code dari demo diatas bisa diunduh disini (Ganti extensionnya jadi ZIP) dan bisa langsung dibuka di netbeans dan lib yang dibutukan ada didalam folder lib . Semoga berguna :) .

Di jaman yang canggih kayak gini kita sering dimanjakan dengan beberapa fasilitas perbankan macam ATM, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Kartu Debit, dsb. Pernah gak kita berpikir bagaimana sih hal2 tersebut bekerja. Apakah dengan menarik uang diATM bener2 mengurangi saldo kita di bank padahal ATMnya jauh dari kantor cabang? Atau bener gak rekening kita didebet sesuai dengan yang kita tarik di ATM? Atau mesin EDC (mesin buat gesek kartu) kok bisa mendebet secara otomatis rekening kita?

Pastinya alat2 tersebut punya saluran komunikasi dengan bank, bisa berupa VSAT buat ATM-ATM yang ada dipelosok, atau line telpon buat dihubungkan dengan mesin EDC. Cuma apakah pernah terpikir bagaimana tepatnya mesin2 tersebut bisa berkomunikasi (istilah lainnya BERBICARA ;) ) dengan Core Banking Bank tertentu secara tepat.

Makanya dibutukan semacam bahasa untuk membuat saling pengertian :D dan standar. Bahasa untuk transaksi finansial tersebut sudah dibuatkan ISOnya dengan nama ISO 8583 . Ini adalah bahasa standar yang harus dipakai seluruh hardware dan software bila berhubungan dengan transaksi finansial.

ISO8583 mempunyai beberapa versi yaitu versi tahun 1987, 1994, dan 2003 . Kebanyakan bank diindonesia masih menggunakan versi 1987. Ok cukup intro sekarang mari kita bongkar format messaging ISO8583 itu sendiri. ISO8583 terdiri dari 3 bagian yaitu MTI, Bitmap, dan DATA.

MTI merupakan Message Type Indicator terdiri dari 4 digit merupakan penanda dari message secara keseluruhan berisi informasi seperti versi ISO8583, type message, fungsi pesan, dan asal pesan. Misalnya 0800( 0 = ISO 8583 versi 1987, 8 = message bertipe network management, 0 = berfungsi sebagai request, 0 = message berasal dari member/nasabah).

Bitmap adalah penanda dimana data ditempatkan di field dan subfield keberapa didalam message. Setiap message minimal harus punya satu bitmap yang bernama primary bitmap yang mengindikasikan ada/tidaknya data element dari 1 ke 64. Bitmap maksimal dapat memetahkan 128 data element. Bitmap yang memberitahukan ada/tidaknya data element dari 65 ke 128 disebut secondary bitmap. Bitmap biasanya ditransmisikan kedalam bentuk hexadecimal atau 8 bytes binari data. Bila kita mendapatkan bitmap seperti ini:

Untuk mengetahui dimana data element yang ada kita ubah menjadi binary:

Bin : 0100 0010 0001 0000 0000 0000 0001 0001 0000 0010 1100 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000

Dari binary diatas kiat bisa menemukan bahwa data element aktif ada di field 2, 7, 12, 28, 32, 39, 41 dan 42. Buat yang masih binggung dari mana ajaibnya angka2 field tersebut, itu didapat dari urutan munculnya angka 1 dalam binary diatas. Jadi dalam urutan diatas angka 1 muncul pada urutan kedua berarti ada data element di field 2, dst.

Data element seperti namanya adalah tempat kita menempatkan data didalam ISO8583 message. Pada ISO8583 versi 1987 terdapat 128 data element. Setiap data element mempunyai arti dan format tersendiri untuk mendefain data seperti apa (binary, numeric, dll) yang bisa dimasukan kedalamnya dan berapa panjang (fixed, variable). Misalnya field 3 bertipe “n 6” artinya hanya dapat menerima data bertipe “numeric” dengan panjang “tetap” sebanyak 6 character atau field 44 bertipe “an..25” artinya bisa menerima data bertipe “alpha” dan “numeric” dengan panjang “flexible” sampai sebanyak 2 digit dengan maximalnya 25 charater. Jadi kita data seperti “000100” dapat dimasukkan ke dalam field 3 sedangkan “ad78012” dan “891829386518asd” bisa dimasukkan ke field 44 karena panjangnya masih dibawah 25 character. Tentu saja dengan segala arti dan format yang berbeda2 di masing2 data element, ISO8583 juga menyediakan data element yang multifungsi dan specific pada system atau negara tertentu.

Untuk membantu kita dalam mendevelop aplikasi yang menggunakan ISO8583 di java biasanya kita menggunakan bantuan dari framework yang bernama JPOS. Untuk demo cara menggunakan JPOS buat menangani ISO8583 bisa diliat di post berikutnya :D .

Fa dies que en volia parlar...

Avui ens trobem en una període de canvis en el món del mass mèdia... Si bé és cert que cada cop pren més importància Internet com a gran mitjà de comunicació, ningú pot negar l’encara notable poder de la televisió. I una nació sense estat necessita uns bons canals de televisió que tinguin com a punt de referència el país i com a llengua la pròpia del país també.

Amb el canvi tecnològic que està vivint la televisió, amb el sistema digital terrestre que comportarà una multiplicació de canals, trobem que el català es troba en una inferioritat numèrica.

Per aquest motiu l’any 2001 la Generalitat va convocar un concurs públic per tal de millorar la situació: s'atorgàven 4 canals d'àmbit nacional per emetre per TDT a tot el país. Es va presentar diverses propostes, entre elles el Grup Flaix de Miquel Calçada. No obstant el Govern (CiU) va optar per donar la llicència a Emissions Digitals de Catalunya, SA (amb el grup Godó com a accionista majoritari).

Certament en un principi aquest projecte donava oxigen el món audiovisual català. Complia amb escreix les clàusules que el Govern va fixar per atorgar la concessió. Alguns dels punts que contemplava el projecte eren:

• La presència del català en tota la seva programació: 100% del contingut en català.
• Es comprometia a donar un fort impuls a la indústria audiovisual catalana, mitjançant la producció pròpia.
• Van assegurar que crearien 4 canals: un generalista –CityTV-, un de dibuixos animats –Parc-, un d’estils de vida i tendències –Vida- i finalment un musical –Flaix-.
• EDC es comprometia a promocionar la cultura i la llengua catalana en tot el seu contingut. Per tant havia de ser una televisió amb una visió catalano-cèntrica i tenia com un dels objectius “fer programes socials i educatius per refeltir la realitat del país”
• Es comprometia a desenvolupar una gran plataforma de serveis interactius amb tecnologia MHP.

Des de l’any 2001 han passat 7 anys... EDC ha creat una espècie de banc de proves... primer van canviar el nom del seu canal generalista: City Tv va passar a dir-se Td8 i un mes més tard li van posar 8tv perquè sonava millor... Un producte que no té clar ni el nom diu molt poc en relació al seu màrqueting no? Però el laboratori no s’acaba aquí! Si bé no s’han engegat els canals Flaix, Parc i Vida, EDC ha optat per posar uns canals gravats (EDC2, EDC3 i 105TV) que funcionen per una pista de reproducció i cada “x” hores es torna a veure el mateix... De fet fins i tot es pot veure l’opció “reading” o “searching” entre un programa i un altre.

Un altre fet que ha impulsat EDC és el seu compromís nul amb la llengua catalana. De fet a 8tv només hi ha un 40% de programació en català (si és que arriba) i això caldria afegir-hi el bilingüisme en els programes inclosos dins del 40% (ARUCITYS, R8...).

Una altra característica que impulsa 8tv és l’experimentació amb els programes de producció pròpia: de fet quan un programa no funciona surt de la graella enarca que sigui el seu segon dia. En tenim nombroses mostres: la recent Via Làctia, X-tra, Amics coneguts i saludats...

Seguint la línia de la cadena trobem Notícies 8. Fa més d’un any que es van estrenar (fins llavors 8tv era un canal sense notícies...). Quan es van estrenar estaven relativament bé... Van prometre un informatiu al migdia... Ara cada cop sembla més un informatiu de baix cost, res a envejar per part de Televisió de Badalona!

El més indignant però és que quan treuen un programa posen un serial sud-americà, que sembla ser que dóna audiència a Catalunya. I no és precisament una sèrie doblada al català! Són sèries com Acorralda, Walker Texas Ranger, Kim casi perfecta...

El més sorprenent del cas és que malgrat ser un incompliment flagrant ni el CAC ni el Departament de Cultura i Mitjans de Comunicació hi fan res, no volen intervenir... I és que posar-se amb el grup Godó fa por o respecte per la seva enorme capacitat d’influència! Malgrat es puguin emprendre accions legals, o, fins i tot, retirar la llicència a EDC,s’ha optat pel silenci. Mentre tant el català queda aixafat pel castellà a la TDT.

Avui tenim una TV3 en hores baixes i un sector privat d’abast nacional d’aquest tipus... això si tenim 38 canals estrangers espanyols que dia rere dia es mengen més part del pastís!

Looks great, huh?  Well, it looks great in isolation and probably looked fab presented on boards in the design agency’s meeting room too.

On the other hand, in situ it looks dated, down market and tired.  Actually the cropped pic above from flickr  (and by Mr Flickr himself apparently) is very kind to it.  All the values that service stations are trying to move away from seem to be covered off by this design.  Its more 4 hour old fried eggs and soggy sarnies than fresh muffins and ciabatta.

So our lesson for today is – get your design in situ and let it breathe for a bit, as you can't design in a vacuum.

• You MUST have a mentor that will teach and train you.  Someone who will be there to guide you and answer questions.  Too many times a sponsor will bring you into a program and leave you to figure everything out on your own.
• You MUST have a marketing plan in effect.  Most people drop the ball here.  They join a program such as Edc Gold with dreams of striking it rich but with no marketing knowledge, they will surely fail.  Your sponsor should teach you how to effectively market.
• You MUST have the right mindset.  You should be in the Edc Gold business or any online business to help others succeed.  Zig Ziglar says, in order to get what you want you must help enough people get what they want. 
• You MUST change your philosophy.  Find out what you don't like in your life right now and instead of becoming depressed about it, use that to get disturbed and fuel yourself forward to take action and better the situation.
• You MUST be dedicated to your success and the success of those in your Edc Gold business or any other venture.  You should always be doing something productive with your time that will move your business forward.  Never give up.

It's taken me a long time through trial and error to learn many of these things.  But the good news is that it's never too late to learn something new that will move you one step closer to your goal.

Quito (Latamgas/Abril2008).- El último reporte de la empresa EDC mostró un potencial de gas mayor al esperado en el Golfo de Guayaquil, que podrá utilizarse para abastecer al mercado local, básicamente para transporte.

La empresa estadounidense EDC (Energy Development Corporation) opera el bloque 3 (mar afuera) del Campo Amistad donde explota cinco pozos productivos de gas natural comercial (metano), pero se utiliza para generar energía eléctrica.

Actualmente, las cifras de reservas probadas del campo son conservadoras girando en torno a 200.000 millones de pies cúbicos de gas

In response, the city’s Department of Environmental Protection, which manages the New York Water Board, last week sent the EDC a bill for $479,000, which would cover the water and sewage fees for the last two years.

The EDC never inquired about why it wasn’t receiving water bills, and DEP officials didn’t realize that it hadn’t billed the property in decades, Mr. Thompson office said.

Mr. Thompson is also pushing for city approval to allow the DEP to bill the corporation for two additional years of previous fees. Neither the DEP nor the EDC, which leases the 97-acre Sunset Park terminal from the city, could be reached for immediate comment.

A similar audit last year resulted in a $335,000 bill for the EDC because the Astoria Studio Limited Partnership II hadn’t paid its water or sewage fees in 10 years, according to Mr. Thompson’s office. The bill represented four years of unpaid fees.

The EDC promotes economic growth in the city, in party by providing real estate development and financial services to the area’s business. It also manages several waterfront properties.
