We so did not call ourselves Charlie's Angels. Desmond started it, and he is now a self-declared Charlie. Nonsense. He insist upon this picture, and it is now his Facebook profile picture. Give me a paper bag to wear, please.

Apparently, we're so hot that Benji even said this:

Nonsensical classmates. Scratch that. Nonsensical radiographers.

Imagine you're going to have your brain scanned by US! Just imagine...

Okay, you can stop now.
Too much imagining can't be good for you, no?

Alright now, let's go hit the books again. My distal phalanges are aching from all these typing. I swear my carpal tunnel is going to get inflamed if I don't stop now.

There's no Place Like Home

Sayid y Kate no tienen a nadie esperándolos.

And frankly they're not half bad. Their name is the Cleveland City Stars. The team, which play their matches at Krenzler Field was founded in 2006. The are a member of the USL Second Division (which is the lower Division) and played their inaugural season in 2007. They came out of the gate hot winning their first 9 matches. They ended the season undefeated at home taking the 2nd seed in the playoffs. They eventually lost to eventual Second Division Champions Harrisburg 1-0. The banner first season didn't go unnoticed--at least by the USL. After the season they may not have had a championship trophy but their case was still filled. The franchise took home:

USL-2 Defender of the Year (Mark Schulte)
USL-2 Coach of the Year (Martin Rennie)
USL-2 Executive of the Year (Mark Geissbauer)
Marketing Excellence Award
USL Rookie Franchise of the Year

A promising beginning that had a familiar theme for Cleveland fans (there's always next year). What was next for the club? A T.V deal of course. On April 7, 2008, the City Stars announced a deal with SportsTime Ohio that will see all of the team's home games aired on the station. Each match will air tape delayed on game night. Replays will be aired on Sundays. Play-by-play and color commentary will be provided by Desmond Armstrong, 1994 World Cup TV commentator and former US national team player, and Glen Duerr, a former City Stars player.

The City Stars are owned by Cleveland Soccer Foundation, a 501 non for profit organization. They have a mission an a motto--"Serving the city, changing the world." They hold free clinics in cities around Cleveland.

In 2008 they've played been near the top of the table as well. Currently they're in second place with 23 points (after 13 matches) 5 points behind the Charlotte Eagles. At home the Green Army has gone 3-0-3 scoring 9 goal while allowing only 1. Average attendance in 2007 was about 1,417. The team played the Columbus Crew to a 2-2 draw in a reserve friendly. The Crew needed a late score to secure the draw. They moved into the third round of The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open cup, but their goal of defeating an MLS club fell short when they lost 4-1 to Chicago Fire.

Next up for the Cleveland City Stars is a return home to face Western Mass Pioneers.
Information leaked to the local press in Botswana indicate that the military in that country is ready to take on Zimbabwe unilaterally if leaders of Southern Africa fail to act soon.

Bishop Desmond Tutu has said that force is justified to bring peace and enable negotiation in Zimbabwe and Kenya’s Prime Minister Raila Odinga has asked the AU to deploy peace-keeping forces in that troubled, once-prosperous country.

Where & How
On to the where. Getting to and from the island is obviously hard work. The island

Where & How

On to the where. Getting to and from the island is obviously hard work. The island could be anywhere or any..when(?) in the world. So first you have to locate it, which is notoriously hard, it took Charles who knows how long to find it. And the only reason Penny found it was because of the Swan implosion/explosion, and by tracking Desmond's phone call.

There are some that we know did get on and off the island. We know Ben has been off the island, hence all the passports and the notoriety at the Tunisian hotel. We know Mr. Friendly (Tom) has been on and off the island. And Richard, Ethan went to pick up Juliet. Also Charlotte has apparently been looking for where she was born so she can be added to the list. Daniel too seems to have some insight as to whats happening with the island.

So here goes. I am having a very hard time coming up with a theory about this, and I'm sure I'll have another go at this before season 5 starts. I propose that Ben needs the help of one of two other people to find the island. He might even need the help of both of them (and it just happens that these are two of my favorite characters).

He'll need someone from the island, to invite him back. Since he turned the Frozen Donkey Wheel he won't be able to find the island again, he's essentially banished. I believe the person to invite him back is Richard. Richard, as you may recall, has been on and off the island in the past, he visited Locke as a child (I am assuming he lived on the island at that time). Richard also went to pick up Juliet. When he went to get Juliet, they said they went in the submarine, the same submarine that Locke supposedly blew-up (I don't believe that he did, but I also don't think that's how they get on and off the island). We don't know exactly how the trip went because Juliet was asleep during the journey, Ethan just said in a suspicious way that the last leg is always a little bumpy, maybe he's talking about the fact that people usually go crazy when the come to the island, I'm supposing otherwise. The fact that we don't know exactly how they get back leads me to believe something special happened. And I don't think special things could happen on the submarine. So what I think is that they didn't get to the island on the submarine, they only used that as a prop so as to not scare Juliet, and they used other, more exciting means to get there, why else would you sedate the person you were transferring. So let's say there are paranormal means to get on and off the island, why not use such means with the man who has likely used them the most, Richard.

But what if the answer is more science than fiction. In that circumstance Jack and Ben will need someone smart. Someone who understands the phenomenon of the island. Maybe someone who seems to know a lot about Dharma and their experiments. A person who's good at lateral thinking. Who could that be? You're right! Good ol' Daniel. I think that Daniel coming back in season 5 will be just what Jack and Co. needs to get back. If there is something that Ben can't figure out, Daniel would be the ideal candidate to make sense of it. And if the island did move in both time and space it will be very hard to find, and likely it would take some serious calculations, calculations that someone like Daniel could do in a heartbeat. (Note: if Daniel did come back to find the island this would be a perfect chance for him and the writers to explain the Icosahedron Theory.)

The problem with these ideas is that the main characters in them are no where to be found. Richard was definitely on the island when it left, and I doubt he's going to come running to Ben when he has Locke on the island. And poor Daniel is who knows where. Since it seems to me that the island has jumped in both time and space and Daniel was halfway out to sea when it happened, poor Daniel could be anywhere. I've talked about all of this in this post. It'll be quite an undertaking to find the island but I'll bet Daniel and/or Richard will be involved in the return.

Come back on Friday when I kick off my season 1 reviews. After that I'll have three reviews a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

There are many different types of logical fallacies. A fallacy is simply an error in one's logic. It is a mistake in one's thinking.

The Red Herring

One particular type of fallacy is the red herring. A red herring one way people sometimes us to avoid answering a question of answering an argument. It is basically anything that distracts from the question or argument.

Example

Bob: What were you doing today?
Ted: Did you know that you have a red hat one?

This is a very simple example. Bob asks Ted a question. Ted does not want to answer it, so he completely changes the subject.

Definition

A red herring is the introduction of an irrelevant point. Sometimes people do not even realise that they are introducing a red herring - other times they want us to not realise that they are giving us a red herring.

Origin of the Term "Red Herring"

A red herring is a dead fish. It is a fish that has become rotten and smelly. Dog trainers used red herrings to train their dogs to not be distracted from the animal they were tracking. The trainers would drag a red herring across the trail of the animal that the dog was tracking. When the dog reached to point where the red herring had been dragged across the trail, he would have to decide which trail to follow. When people use red herrings in an argument, you have to decide whether to follow their red herring or continue along with the same argument as before.

Source

I got the information for this post from a book called The Fallacy Detective by Nathaniel and Hans Bluedorn.

This is my last season 4 finale post that I plan to write. It is focusing on season 5 a lot. Again I used to have a huge long post but I've split it up for ease of reading. I've tried to make these some of the most significant posts that I can, they almost touches every character on the show, the ones that I don't talk about here I mention in my last few posts about Locke's on-island problems. After this I am going to get started on reviewing old Lost episodes. So stay tuned. I'll also give you a few days to digest this post, so read on.

As far as setups go on Lost, that was a pretty satisfying one. At the end of the finale the writers put in a scene in which Ben, the Mastermind, and Jack, the "Leader" (I still think he's an awful leader, but that's his favorite role), come together and join forces to accomplish one thing: Getting back to the island. They have two obvious hurdles in doing this. First they have to convince "all of them" to go back. And then they have to find the island. So we have to questions: Who? Where? & How? (Where and How are very similar so I'm grouping them together)

Who?

I guess what they were doing here is leaving season 5 very open ended. By saying all of you have to go back, Ben left the possibility that he was only talking about the Oceanic 6 (and Locke) or maybe everyone who left in the finale (The Oceanic 6 + Desmond, Lapidus, maybe even Jin, Daniel, & Walt).

I think having it open ended allows the show-runners to have more freedom with the casting. For example Jeff Fahey the actor who played Frank Lapidus was a guest star all season (this actually led many people to believe that he would die). But since he doesn't actually have any serious commitments to the show it is unlikely that he'll come back full time, there are a lot of actors like that. I mentioned in an earlier post that Henry Ian Cusick might not want to come back full time either (Updated, see comments below, I was way wrong on this, luckily). So who really knows what's going to happen. But who cares about the Hollywood side of Lost let's get back into the mythology.

Why does everyone need to go back to the island? does the island not accept single people back onto the island? Do they really need to go back as a group? And who are those that have to go back? I tend to believe that when Ben says you all need to go back, he means only the Oceanic survivors. That means Jack, Kate, Sun, Hurley, Sayid, Locke. There are three other people who are in a sort of gray area for me: Ji Yeon, Walt and Aaron. I'll go through all of the characters separately (and backwards!).

Aaron

The stuff about Aaron is terribly confusing. All paranormal signs advise guardians of that child to keep him in LA, and away from his blood relatives, I really don't know what to make of this. I think we should obey them simply beaus whenever signs appear it usually means that death is around the corner. So I doubt he'll be going back to the island, probably he'll stay with Kate's mom.

Walt

As for Walt, I believe it's his destiny to live on the island. And I bet Jacob really wants him to come back too, or else he really doesn't want him to come back, in which case I think he definitely will go back (I like the way I think). I'm not entirely sure what was happening with Walt in season 1 & 2. I know there was some kind of brainwashing, that was shown in the Missing Pieces, but I don't know if The Others kidnapped Walt because they just liked having slightly psychic children around or if it was because Jacob asked for The Others to take Walt, (maybe he was on Jacob's List). Who knows, I just want Walt to come back, as I mentioned in my earlier post.

Ji Yeon

I don't think Ji Yeon will be coming back. I think since she wasn't conceived until they got onto the island and she wasn't born until they left, she isn't terribly important. If you noticed, in the scene with Sun and Mr. Whidmore, Ji Yeon was said to be with Sun's mother. I think that was a setup to imply that Sun could easily spend time away from Ji Yeon. Not that I think that's a good thing, but it's an important story element.

Tomorrow I'll talk about more important people (namely adults), stay tuned.

- Izi

Gerald DeGroot y Karen DeGroot

Aaron Littleton y Ji-Yeon Kwon

Aaron y Ji-Yeon

Ben y Annie

Sería muy potito que fueran:

Hugo y Libbie

Goodwin y Juliet

Charlie y Claire

5) Keamy Kills Al

Here's what I think are the top five moments of my favourite season of Lost.

5) Keamy Kills Alex

A truly shocking scene, I never would have expected Keamy to actually do it. The look on Ben's face is what makes this moment.

4) Desmond and Penny Reunite

My favourite character Desmond got what he always wanted, to be reunited with Penny. This has always been my favourite relationship of the show and I never expected to have them reunited in the finale. A beautiful, moving scene which did bring a tear to my eye.

3) Here Comes Smokey

The only black smoke moment of the season but it's an incredible one. Seeing smokey storm into Othersville like a freight train was a hell yeah moment. Then seeing it decimate the commando's was too much fun. Though the scene ends with poor Ben saying goodbye to Alex, a sad, calm scene around so much chaos.

2) Ben Moves The Island

An underground part of the island that's frozen + a huge wheel to move the island = an astonishing Lost moment. It's a moment which you can't help but feel sorry for Ben, this act will banish him from the island. The shot of the island disappearing is wonderfully done. The question now is, where or when did the island go to?

1) Desmond Finds His Constant

A moment from one of the best episodes of Lost. This is an epic, emotional, beautifully acted scene. No one can deny this scene ain't spectacular, it's all about destiny and love. If you're a fan or not, this will move you, it moved me, even brought tears to my eyes. It gives everyone hope that there's someone out there that you're destined to be with and how can you not like that.

The cars were lined up in anticipation of the big race. Team Desmond was ready and waiting to get the line up for the big event. Would they start in lane one or lane two? The Desmond recently partnered with the community as Title Sponsor of the 2008 Capital District Soap Box Derby and sponsored the Desmond Stock Car donated to and built by the students of The Brighter Choice Charter School for Boys in Albany. 10 year old Kalahri Cortina was the team's designated driver and his excitement at the starting line was evident along with that of his "Pit Crew". Sporting their Team Desmond Shirts and Pit Crew caps, the boys anxiously awaited the first race. With high fives to each other and to the public relations and events staff members of the hotel at their side, they were off to the starting ramps.

Kahlari started strong winning the first two heats moving on to the next phase of racing. His next challenge, racing against a strong competitor who has raced for the last 3 years, Kahlari faced his challenge and came close but was slightly behind at the finish line. The boys raced from the top of the hill to greet Kahlari at the finish line and although they would not be moving on, the joy on their faces for having been able to participate and finish a strong 6th place could be seen on their faces.

The Desmond Hotel supports the goals of the Soap Box Derby program which have not changed since it began in 1934. They are to teach youngsters some of the basic skills of workmanship, the spirit of competition, sportsmanship, and the perseverance to continue a project once it's begun.

This post is more for me than anyone else. If you were to ask me what my favorite parts of this season was I would say without a doubt the episode "The Constant" and the scene in the finale when Desmond and Penny get back together.

For quite sometime I have agreed with a friend of mine, HH, who had said that she expected Desmond and Penny to reunite in the series finale of the show. This made perfect sense to me, this is an epic love story, why not stretch it out until the end. The comparisons of Desmond and Penny's story to Homer's The Odyssey are completely purposeful. I would love to go into them, but that should be in another post, this one is more about the season 4 finale and beyond. The reason I bring it up is just to say how it diverged from the legend in this last episode, (maybe). You see, with HH's theory that Penny & Desmond would hook up at the end of Lost it pretty much guaranteed that it would have happy ending, as does The Odyssey when Penelope and Odysseus are reunited. Having Desmond and Penny reunite at the end of season four, of six, really worries me. What's going to happen to them in the future? The odds are low that they are going to have two worry free seasons.

This surprise rendezvous of my favorite characters prompted me to try to think of why the writers would do this. The first thing I thought of was the actors schedules. They were worried that they wouldn't be able to get Sonya Walger (Penny) back this season because she is starring in an HBO show these days (and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles [also I just heard that Shirley Manson, from Garbage, is going to star in that show next year, now I'll have to watch it, I'm already embarrassed]). So she is pretty busy, and Henry Ian Cusick is also a moderately busy actor who apparently hasn't been to into the TV series schedule. He has also been on the show for three years which is the traditional contract that actors sign on for TV shows. So does this mean that we won't see Penny and Desmond again? I doubt it.

I do believe that they, mostly I mean Desmond, will have a more minor role, a very critical role but less in the forefront as in the last two season. I'll bet they will become more of the guest star you look forward to seeing return, like Rousseau. You don't expect to see them in every episode but when they do come up you know something important will happen.

These two apparently have a lot to deal with in the future. Ben has promised to hunt down and kill Penny, and Desmond is pretty much going to have to live in secret. Charles Widmore will definitely be unhappy when he finds out that Penny is back with Desmond. So a lot can still happen to these two. A strange thing that happened this season was that Desmond promised to never return to the island, that could go both ways though. It might be good ol' fashion foreshadowing and it might mean that Desmond won't ever go back to the island. Or it might be some good ol' fashion irony, maybe they are setting poor Desmond up for some tragedy, maybe he has to go back. Or maybe there will be a time when he wants to go back, when the island might seem like the best place on Earth, the only place where both Ben and Whidmore can't find them. I'm betting on the latter.

I know there is a little bit of speculation about whether Desmond has to go back to the island when Jack goes back, I don't know, I doubt it, but I'll talk about that in a later post.

Again I want everyone to know how happy I am about those two getting back together, for me, that was the highlight of the finale.

Owens, 31, was suspended on 5 November for criticising the Eagles, quarterback Donovan McNabb and for fighting with former team-mate Hugh Douglas.

Two days later, the Eagles extended the suspension to four games.

The Eagles were adjudged to have clearly proved the suspension was justified by the arbitrator.

Philadelphia, currently struggling at 4-6 at the bottom of the AFC East, have made it clear they want Owens to play no further part in their season.

In a statement, the club said: "From this point, we look forward to moving on and will have no further comment on this issue."

Owens is seen as one of the best wide receiver in the league, but the Eagles - who lost last season's Super Bowl to New England - have made it clear they are content to let him go.

The player had been unhappy since the off-season, when the Eagles refused to renegotiate his seven-year, $48m contract.

The NFL Players Association had argued that the suspension should be reduced and wanted to force the Eagles to either play Owens or release him.

So Sun really pulled that out her ass. After 4 years with only one reaction to anything shocking (

So Sun really pulled that out her ass. After 4 years with only one reaction to anything shocking (her BIG eyes), she suddenly is hysterical. I'm not quite sure if that was good acting or not, it was definitely noticeable, but maybe it was overacting (I'm wincing a little while I'm writing this, because Sun is such a nice person). Yeah I couldn't help but notice in the last two episodes that poor Suns face is extraordinarily asymmetrical. Apparently they've been getting good angles on her over the past four years, because I never even noticed. Anyways, this discussion is really beside the point.

What was Sun thinking? What I mean to say is, what did she think happened to Jin? She kept screaming that they had to go back they had to get him, even after the freighter blew up. Are these just the ravings of a hysterical woman? Or does she really believe that Jin is alive?

That brings us to the second subject, Sun talking to Charles Whidmore. I suggest you all watch that scene again, you need to listen carefully to what she is saying to him. She says two things that alarm me. First that "we both have common interests" and "we aren't the only ones who got off the island". This conversation should be taken into the context of two others. During her take-over of Paik Industries she says her father is one of the two people she blames for Jin's death. And in the last scene of this season when Jack is talking to Ben he says that Sun blames him, Jack, for Jin's death. So it's extremely important to figure out what Sun was talking about when she was talking to Whidmore. I think there are two possibilities.

Before I get to those possibilities I have to say how strange it is that Mr. Whidmore isn't the second person she blames for Jins death. He was the one who funded the freighter trip and he made the "secondary protocol" which may or may not have included the stacks of C4. Also Mr. Whidmore and Paik Industries are without a doubt connected, that was established in The Lost Experience and possibly in more subtle ways during the show (I can't really remember, just look it up on Lostpedia). So who knows why Sun isn't just trying to kill Mr. Whidmore, it seems like she would want to.

Also, if Sun blames Jack does that make him her second target? That seems a little out of character. I believe that Jacks line was misdirection, I doubt Sun is very angry at Jack for leaving Jin behind, I'm sure after 3 years of thinking about that day she would see that they couldn't have landed on the freighter to get Jin.

Back to Suns conversation with Charles.

First possibility: Sun's a bitch. Maybe Sun is talking about Desmond when she says "we aren't the only ones who got off the island". And their common interests could be to find the island. She might want to find it because she believes that Jin is still alive.

Second possibility: Locke talked to Sun. Maybe Locke found post-island Sun and told her that Ben was the reason why the freighter blew up. Maybe he explained to her that Ben killed Keamy knowing what the results would be. So when she says they have common interests she means they both want to find Ben Linus. And when she says we aren't the only ones who got off the island she means that Ben got off too, so we need to find him together and kill/beat him to a pulp.

So looking at the whole story, it's easier to believe that Sun isn't a bitch and wants to revenge Jins death by finding and punishing Ben. I would hope that Sun isn't crazy enough to turn on poor Desmond. But if she was to target Desmond then I think I might have a problem with her as a character. I would rather have her die than anything happen to Desmond.

This gets back to the old debate, who is right Charles or Ben. I think that in the future it's possible that Charles is on the sunnier side of morality. Going after Ben after he threatens to kill Penny, in my opinion, is completely justified. At the same time I don't like that Charles' actions led to the death of poor little Alex (a tear for Alex). But maybe those weren't Keamy's orders. I'm still torn about Ben, up until the end of his episode I thought he was the greatest character, I never wanted anything to happen to him, but after he promised to go after Penny... I just can't like him anymore. I think I should write a post weighing the morality of Ben's actions and decisions, that would be fun.

Whoops I've forgotten about Sun, it's just so darn easy to do. I hope she's still on the straight and narrow and that she is simply targeting Ben, or maybe even tricking Whidmore, but if not then bye-bye Sun. You can see what the writers have done here, they've made a completely sidelined character suddenly powerful and dangerous, that is pretty impressive, Sun went from being the pregnant and dull visible minority to a threat to the most influential characters on the show, Charles and Ben.

Alright here's the video that's been floating around the internet:

[redlasso id="aca2495f-f92c-4a42-8bed-c29673721547"]

I know this could raise some anger in a few Lost viewers, maybe you could imply that the writers don't know here they are going with the storyline. but I believe that these scenes were filmed not as true alternatives, but so that spoilers couldn't be leaked about who was in the coffin.

I avoid spoilers like the plague (the plague seems to be pretty easy to avoid these days, but that's neither here nor there) but apparently the plot to the finale was floating around the internet for weeks (according to Doc Jensons article here) before it aired. I think that's terrible, why would anyone want to read what's going to happen instead of watch it happen on TV. I can understand that casual fans might want to know but all the casual Lost fans left last year in the season three hiatus. Anywho I just don't enjoy spoilers, I'd rather just predict what's going to happen using critical thinking. (on a side note, does anyone know why I think it's funny to have that phrase bolded? In my mind I'm saying those words in that sentence in a deep loud voice. I think it's come kind of pop-culture reference but I don't know where it's from.... maybe Family Guy)

As it all goes down, fans wait, watch and wilt till next season.

There's No Place Like Home: Part 2 & 3

By Bryce VanKooten

Well, its all over. At least for now. How do we all feel? Can we describe it all in one word? Legit. Two words: deceptively inspiring? I suppose we need a time machine to get out exactly how we feel.

This year we saw lots and lots of things happen. Wait, no we didn’t. The season started with the ever-fateful ‘the folks on The Freighter are coming to get us’ and ended with the incredible twist: ‘the folks on The Freighter, although tricksy little hobbits’s––did not get us'. Granted, we got to meet Faraday (awesome, eccentric, all good things) and Charlotte (hmmm) and I’ll be the first to admit that I like them, but frankly––when all was said and done, plot wise... It was a simple season.

Remember first season when we saw a Hatch and were entertained just by the thought of it for about 15 episodes? Or when we saw only the feet of The Others walking by––just a glimpse––and we had more Goosebumps than a 6th grade library? Those were the days when nitwit fans were mixed in with the rest of the nuts and left to fight amongst themselves as to who would get the last handful of theory crumbs. Nowadays though, where do we live? What is it going to take to get us back to that state of wonderment without that nostalgic sense of hate we so often feel? Can it be that we are too smart for our own good? Always thinking outside the magic box, we can only be duped if hand-fed lies? I say nah, but that’s closer than not.

If ever there was a breaking point for me, it was the end of Season 3. It was the first season where I had to moan along with the rest of the world week by week (or should I say, week off to week on) because I had used up my luxury of DVD seasons (see previous post Lost: The Logic-Free Fee). It was then when I sat back and said, “Lost, I hereby swear I will disown you like a right-wing father to his hippie son if you don’t impress me beyond belief.” And like a true nonconforming child, it did. There I was, watching Jack drink his life away–– popping pills like a MLB All-star thinking to myself, “Well, it looks like this is it. I have to quit. I gotta shut er’ off.” And then it happened. They took me to the future. And like Never, Never, Land, I was hooked again.

When this year's finale rolled around, I can’t say I was in as angry of a place, but I can say that I wanted some movement. When Desmond did his Marty McFly bit in The Constant, I went wild. When Keamy went from ‘not that tough’ to ‘okay, he could be tough’ by going hard as The Wire and shooting Ben’s daughter, I coincidentally wanted to jump up and scream, “That’s what I’m talking about!” You can’t have anyone to really love if you don’t have anyone to really hate. Throw in a loathsome person like Benjamin Linus (who we all love, lets be honest) and you have a terrific show. Leverage that dynamic with the island's properties and now we’re talking. The Season 4 finale did just that. It didn’t do everything I had hoped (i.e. reveal to us the/a time machine, show where the island went after it ducked below the surface, give us more insight into where Ben goes after banished, etc, etc), but it did enough. I liked how the island disappeared. I liked how Sun sold out for her final scene with Jin (fyi; that was heart wrenchingly painful to watch and I likely won’t watch it again; I liked Jin, I did.... I did). I liked how Sawyer was the man, again––if only for a little while. He kind of went to that hey-don’t-forget-I’m-still-Sawyer place where he does things, almost subconsciously, just to show how much cooler than Jack he is. I thought his jump was well placed and perfect. And if you didn’t hear what he said to Kate in the whisper, you can hear it here.

Bottom line, this finale was like a punch in the belly button. A good punch, though. It hurts a bit; torments you for a while, but its good to know that you can still feel. You can still hurt–– and they still care enough to take the time and effort to punch you.
