The Sony BRC Series of high performance color Pan/Tilt/Zoom Cameras (PTZ) all have outstanding picture quality, versatile interfaces and precise movements, making all three BRC cameras ideal for remote video shooting applications.

Both the BRC-H700 and BRC-300 have already been highly successful worldwide, satisfying user needs for high-definition (HD) and standard-definition (SD) applications, respectively. However, Sony recently introduced their new HD/SD capable BRC-Z700, which comes equipped with three 1/4-type HD ClearVidTM CMOS Sensors in addition to incorporating a newly designed smooth P/T/Z mechanism for precise camera control.

As already mentioned above, one of the primary differences between the three BRC cameras are;

BRC-300 ~ Standard Definition 3CCD only

BRC-H700 ~ High Definition 3CCD only

BRC-Z700 ~ Both HD and SD capable 3CMOS

Moving past the BRC-300, what is the difference between the BRC-H700 an the BRC-Z700?

All BRC cameras have a very wide pan range of 340 degrees and a tilt range of 120 degrees.

All BRC Series cameras are capable of capturing not only fast-moving objects, but also slow-moving objects without rocking vibration.

BRC-H700 ~ HD Color Camera

1,120,000 total pixels

16 Presets for predefined P/T/Z positions

HD Component (Y/Pb/Pr), RGB

Pan and tilt speeds are variable within the range of 0.25 to 60 degrees per second

Image Flip Function

Features a 12x optical autofocus zoom lens with an optical image stabilizer, allowing users to clearly capture small or distant objects.

Has the widest viewing angle in the BRC Series, allowing users to capture wide areas of a scene such as audiences at concerts or in auditoriums.

Has high sensitivity, it can be operated in shooting environments without ideal lighting

They are everywhere!!! Hurry now before supplies run out! Limited time offer! Get your’s tod

They are everywhere!!! Hurry now before supplies run out! Limited time offer! Get your's today! You deserve the best.... a marketer's playground of slippery slogans. The current target ( I am sure amongst others) are the computer generated Astrology compatability charts. Step right up and pay me 19.99, 29.99, 39.99 and I will input your data and hit enter. So many people on the web and in other classifieds are doing just that. I am not saying that the information is bad, most of it really is accurate.... but I worry how much stock someone will put into the reading. And I wonder if they would even pay it if they realized it was from a computer software program.

I guess I have taken issue with this because I have a difficult chart. That is difficult in that I have a Tsquare involving the Luminaries in opposition and the apex landing on Jupiter. That aspect of planets needs to be read as one planet in Synastry in addition to singling out any of them individually. Let me give an example. I have the Sun 07 Capricorn in the 12th and the Moon 06 Cancer in the 6th. Jupiter is 10 Aries in the 2nd house. So when someone has.... let's say Venus Conjunct my Moon... oh happy days and we are sitting lovebirds blah blah blah in the Synastry read outs. Okay, I can agree with that. But that same report will point out that Venus is Opposed the Sun... Oh no, still some compatibility, but less romantic in nature. A little further down Venus Squares Jupiter.... Horrors of an Epic nature (hee... everything involving Jupiter turns epic). And so goes it through the entire computer generated reading. Heaven forbid someone brings a planet in Libra to the table!! Let's put a Libra Mars against my chart in synastry. Now we have 2 squares to the Luminaries...(less experienced Astrologers will scream run away run away that is violence) and an opposition to Jupiter. Well... I get along very well with Libras and those with heavy Libra planets. Why? They balance out that energy I am juggling. With Mars, there would be competitiveness, and action, and possibly direction. So a synastry generated report would have given big Red Flags... but it would actually be very positive (and busy... that Jupiter and Mars would have a lot of action going). So we know that any computer generated synastry would be tainted with my chart. Well you have a chart that is dynamic, another dynamic person is sought out. And as many times as not, I am looking at a synastry between me (The Tsquare) and usually a Grand Cross or another Tsquare Person. Don't think that isn't a fright on paper. Suddenly the looking for Trines is not so important as looking for oppositions. The Chart needs to find balance. And oppositions are a natural state for these kind of configurations of aspects. So all of a sudden the awareness that a square in these cases are really midpoints. Yay! We all love midpoints! So reading the chart changes dynamics again.

In addition, we need to take into account the houses that are in play. If the person with the Grand Cross has the planets in the Angular Axis.... well, I am comfortable with that, as Capricorn, Cancer, and Aries all do understand those houses. I take it you are starting to understand how much more there is then just planet A to Planet B mean..... I am going to add a bit more then.

Sometimes a computer generated Synastry chart will be bland, okay... you don't see anything that would cement a couple together. Look closer. Look for parallel and contra parallels. Those are additional "conjunctions" Look at the Antiscions. These are your mirror points. Antiscions that land on the others planets are stronger than regular conjunctions. Look for the Arabic Parts in a Synastry. Make sure the Nodes are examined. In computer generated reports, usually a hard aspect is bad, but since this is a point with an axis.... think Mid Point instead.... same with the Vertex. And with those more difficult charts, look for balance.

In many of the relationship readings I have done, the story is amazing in the Composite. That is were you see the compatibility when the forces combine. As an example... I have the tsquare chart. My sister has a Grand Cross chart. When the Composite chart is made, we create a perfect kite with only one square that is so out of orb, I wouldn't count it.

So, I think it is time to rethink our Astrology skills if we have been too dependent on a computer. Now, I am not being silly and saying invest the time and dedication to learning how to cast a chart... that is done accurately with a click, click, click, and enter. I am suggesting we go back and learn the basics and then the rules, and then the exceptions.... every person is a beautiful celebration of uniqueness as is every chart cast between them.

Recently i worked on a 24 hour film project with North Point Community Chruch! It was alot of fun. We had the movie Back to the Future and we had to flip it into a crime movie. My part of the group i acted, lit the sets (well as much as possible) and co-edited! Mr. PVP helped when we were both getitng punchy!

Required Elements:

1. We had to use the line "dude where's my ______!"

2. We had to show Marta.

3. Everyone in our group has to have a speaking part.

4. We had to use a bobble head cut out from the series Judgement Call.

5. We had to have one non-group member appear with at least one line.

6. The film had to be completed between 7PM-7PM, the length had to be between 5-7 min long.

Though my group didn't winl, it was awesome. I was able to meet new people on the production team and it was a good example of a living room environment. I was awake 40 hours total by the end of the project. So i apologize for non-acting skills. That i look tired and well it isn't that great.

CHECK out at 3:40 there is a special shot, follow the cup!

Comment and let me know whatcha think!!

Here is the next tutorial in the filters series by Niko Kiirala, This tutorial covers the composite filter.

"Composite is, as the name states, an effect that can composite images together. It uses the Porter-Duff blending modes named after the writers of the paper, where it was published.

The Porter-Duff blending modes are basically logical operations applied to images. For example, you can go and take an exclusive or of two images. In the original paper there was a table showing an example of each mode and some variation of that has been included in most places, where these modes are explained."

HDR (High Dynamic Range) imaging is an incredible technique that offers a greater tonal range in you

HDR (High Dynamic Range) imaging is an incredible technique that offers a greater tonal range in your images, with more details in your shadows and highlights. Photoshop CS3's Merge To HDR is a vast improvement over CS2's, but still pales in comparison to third-party plugins and applications. There are, however, alternative ways to create HDR images in Photoshop CS3 without the use of third-party software or Merge To HDR.

Below is an advanced technique for creating HDR images in Photoshop CS3 without using Merge To HDR. Why use this technique instead of Merge To HDR? Ghosting can occur when subjects, or any other objects in your photos, move between exposures. Merge To HDR doesn't compensate for this movement; so ghosting will occur. The following advanced Photoshop tutorial by Mark Galer explains how to create an HDR image without ghosting, and with better mid-tone contrast than Merge To HDR.

"Adobe Photoshop CS3 Tutorial - HDR - High Dynamic Range" by Mark Galer

Results:

I chose these two images to compare the Merge To HDR's results with that of Galer's tutorial:

These images were taken on a tripod with remote shutter release to ensure that the camera does not move between exposures. With the long shutter speeds of each image (10s and 30s, respectively) there is some movement in the clouds.

Here is the HDR image created with Photoshop's Merge To HDR:

I also used a curves adjustment layer to improve contrast. You can see some ghosting appears in the sky and reflection. I didn't spend too much time when converting from 32 to 16 bits, so details in both the shadows and highlights could have been better.

Using Galer's tutorial, the HDR composite was vastly improved:

No ghosting appears anywhere in the image, and shadow/highlight detail is much richer with a higher color saturation. Since all the clouds moved between exposures, Galer's method required a lot of detailed cloning and healing work, and took some time to complete.

An alternative to Galer's approach for an image like this could be to:

1.  Open and process each of the images in Photoshop's Adobe Camera Raw per Galer's suggestions;

2.  Stack the images on two different layers, with the brighter image (with the blown-out sky) on top;

3. Create a layer mask for the top layer and mask out the blown-out sky; and,

4. Lower the opacity of the top layer so that the building, grass and trees don't appear too bright compared to the sky.

Amalgam is an alloy that has been used to fill decayed teeth for a very long time. People mostly say grey fillings when referring to this kind of filling. This alloy contains silver, copper, tin and mercury.

It’s the mercury that worries people who have grey fillings in their teeth. There are dentists who totally discourage amalgam fillings, and instead recommend composite fillings, or porcelain or gold inlays.

Is it absolutely necessary to remove all your grey fillings if you have some in your mouth?

There are countries that have banned amalgam, but several professional dental associations, including the ones of Canada and the United States, that do not totally discourage amalgam use for fillings. So there is no need to be alarmed if you have grey fillings, and you can keep them in your mouth as long as they are in good shape and do not need to be changed. But when it comes time replace them, it would be preferable to chose another filling material, mainly white composite fillings, which are more aesthetic and do not contain mercury.

Vedic Astrology Chart Analysis and Consultancy is provided exclusively through Reports drafted by the Consultant in MS Word and e-mailed to clients across the world. Details of the various Analyses available are given below. Choose the one which suits your needs best. Samples of some Consultancy undertaken for clients in different climes and cultures are put up elsewhere on this site. Look around!

Vedic/ Hindu Astrology is a magnificent spiritual art. It should not be treated akin to a physical science. It is not Biology or Chemistry; it is Astrology or Jyotish with its own sets of rules, principles and requirements of active intuition. In the hectic, confusing and neurotic times of today, the ancient wisdom of the Seers can furnish a reliable roadmap with which to navigate life with a dynamic attitude, awareness and a feeling of genuine participation. It is a very far cry from superstition and fortune telling.

Crucial decisions such as whether to push ahead in a very charged up Karmic time or to wait a little before giving it the best one has within; or purposive queries that one poses to herself: 'Where am I going? OR Where am I going with this?'; evaluating a past relationship that changes the inner and external landscape; death and rebirth experiences at the psychological level, whether precipitated by tangible reality or the innermost emotive adventures; an overall view of one's life, fostering a magical perspective that centres; the root cause of otherwise inexplicable personal suffering; evaluating, anticipating and harmonising periods of astounding material, emotional and spiritual success; choosing a life partner knowing if she/ he is The One...all these and much, much more are things that appear well beyond any other known structured art or discipline known to humankind.

Hindu/ Vedic Astrology is an astonishing perspective on the individual and collective human condition. More than anything else, it is a field of recieving perpetual and yet surprised delight.

To be able to understand other's and one's own spiritual, mental and material quotients, propensities and realistic potentials can instill authentic confidence and recognition. Ego, mind, learning, wealth, relatives, love, partners, travel, life, death, birth and focussed planning all acquire a meaning which is otherwise always elusive in the modern rush.

This art is truly a blessing from the ancient wisdom of India.

The Vedic Astrology Consultant/ Author asserts and retains the Intellectual Property Rights in the Consultancy Analyses, Articles, Essays, Research and other compositions on this Website.

Disclaimer:For those who have glimpsed the magic of Jyotish, magnificent treasures await in the vast ocean of this knowledge. Hindu Astrology Analyses offered by the Consultant are not empirical pronouncements of the type made in the realm of the physical sciences. The Analyses are not in the true or false format but delve into the horoscope to derive insights about the life of the native in a spiritual reference frame. These insights should be used by clients at their sole discretion and responsibility.

The DETAILED CHART ANALYSIS is an exhaustive interpretation of the Rashi Chakra and the Varga Chakras or the Divisional Charts. It includes the analysis of the specific queries of the client in addition to the overall interpretation of the major areas of life. Career, wealth, income, property, parents, relatives, siblings, marriage, relationships, life events, progeny, health, spirituality, deities, curses from previous incarnations that bring challenges, travel and related matters are studied. Dasha systems like the Vimshottari Dasha, Narayan Dasha and the Conditional Dashas of Parashara are applied for timing based on applicability and need. Techniques such as Argala and Rashi Drishti are employed to better glean chart tendencies. Full use is made of the various Arudha Pada to judge the externalities of life in addition to the metaphysical roots relating to the various life areas as seen from the charts. An alternative equivalent of the Analysis can also be had through a telephonic conversation extending from One hour to One and a half hours depending on need. Follow up questions in the nature of clarifications for both written and telephonic forms are entertained once. For information pertaining to fee structures and to request an Analysis, write to anuraagsharma27@hotmail.com and anuraag9@gmail.com.

The DETAILED CHARTS COMPATIBILITY ANALYSIS is an exhaustive interpretation of two sets of Rashi Chakras and the Varga Chakras or the Divisional Charts. Married couples or romantic partners can avail of this Analysis with profit. It is an elaborate examination of the corresponding features of the two charts. The crucial parameters of Upapada Lagna matching are applied to judge the inherent and Karmic suitability of the two individuals as marital partners. Physical proximity, Manglik Dosha, Dosha Samya or the mutual cancellation of affliction are some of the features studied. The longevity of the marriage and the status of the marital partner are examined. Over and covert opposition to the alliance, if any, are also judged. Advanced and esoteric techniques as described above are used for charts delineation. Telephonic equivalent of the Analysis is also available in the alternative, as stated above for the Detailed Chart Analysis. For information pertaining to fee structures and to request an Analysis, write to anuraagsharma27@hotmail.com and anuraag9@gmail.com.

The ANNUAL CHART ANALYSIS or the TITHI PRAVESHA CHAKRA is an extensive and in-depth look at the Hindu or Vedic year. It employs traditional Jyotish knowledge to glean the astrological factors operating for the native in a given year. Concepts like the ruler of the year, the lord of the Hindu or the Vedic day on which the year starts and the application of the Tithi Ashtottari Dasha are used to describe the manner in which events will unfold through a given year. Varga Chakras or the Divisional Charts are used to study specific areas of life for the given year. Other standard techniques such as evaluation of the Arudha Pada, the use of Rashi Drishti to study deterministic trends and Argala to time the intervention of allied factors on a given chart function are employed. For alternative telephonic equivalents, see briefs on other Reports above. For information pertaining to fee structures and to request an Analysis, write to anuraagsharma27@hotmail.com and anuraag9@gmail.com.

The HORARY CHART ANALYSIS or PRASHNA CHAKRA ANALYSIS is an interpretation of the query chart (s) cast either for the moment when your Hindu Astrology Consultant receives the query through e-mail or when upon successful commissioning of the Analysis, the Jyotishi sits down to cast and analyse the various charts. Principles from the Jyotish classic the Prashna Marga and other standard interpretation techniques are used to unravel the propensities regarding the subject of the query posed to the astrologer. This Analysis is a study of the real features of life of the Querent or the query, the status or external features relating to the same and the protection afforded to the subject-matter. For alternative telephonic equivalents see the briefs on the other Reports above. For information pertaining to fee structures and to request an Analysis, write to anuraagsharma27@hotmail.com and anuraag9@gmail.com.

The CUSTOMISED COMPOSITE CHART ANALYSIS as the name suggests is an amalgam and combination of more than one of the Reports detailed above. Clients frequently seek a combination of the various Reports available. For example, the Detailed Chart Analysis is sought to be combined with either the Tithi Pravesha Chakra Analysis or the Prashna Chakra Analysis or both to attempt to glean insights into the coming Vedic/ Hindu year and/ or a specific and immediate query that can be best evaluated through a Horary Chart Analysis. Likewise, with the Remedial Measures Consultancy where the Jatak wishes to receive an understanding of the remedial measures such as Mantra, worship of specific deities, gemstone prescriptions based on his or her charts. Visitors can see below for samples of this Report as too the other variants. For alternative telephonic equivalents see the briefs on the other Reports above. For information pertaining to fee structures and to request an Analysis, write to anuraagsharma27@hotmail.com and anuraag9@gmail.com.

I am endeavoring to learn some of Blender’s (blender.org) VSE (Video Sequence Editor) and node

I am endeavoring to learn some of Blender's (blender.org) VSE (Video Sequence Editor) and node compositing editor.

With the VSE you can arrange video clips and do effects, such as achieving a fade out to black (using three strips - video, gamma cross and color generator.)

Using VSE as a simple video editor may be very useful, and as it develops hopefully it will overrun such commercial monster products as Adobe Premiere Pro. One advantage over Premiere Pro 1.0 that I have found is that Blender's VSE accepts an .avi compression that I use, whereas Premiere Pro 1.0 doesn't. Besides that, Blender is completely free and open source, and is an alternative to Windows Movie Maker. WMM can be very useful for shrinking file sizes and doing some simple editing (and you can do text effects and transitions,) but Blender's VSE seems less dumbing.

And now about the greenscreening:

With the node compositing I am endeavoring to make a successful chroma keying - taking out a certain color, like bluescreening, also known as split screen - but it is proving quite a bit harder than I hoped. It seems (as is perfectly logical) that to have an effective keying I need very clear, pure colors to key out. Otherwise you get grays when it looks blue and your footage becomes very spotty.

Hopefully I will get some good results soon. Here's a screenshot of my first work with chroma keying - overlaying a video on an image - not so great, but I'm learning.

Old machinery (video) on old machinery (image)

Also, doing further testing this evening, this chroma keying business may be much more difficult than I had hoped. Looking online for professional options, I found these two sites: (the first site recommended the second site.)

DIY (Do It Yourself - Bluescreens, Greenscreens, Backdrops and Background stands) Highly recommended to check out - you can find out about how to make your own greenscreen the cheap way. (not fool proof.

EEFX (green/blue screen backgrounds and backdrops(?)) Great for seeing professional quality equipement, seeing the prices, and learning about what makes their cloth special.

Hope you enjoy - looking forward to filming soon! Praise God!

So I decided to make a keyer in the blender compositor. Using my basic knowledge of compositors I finally arrived at an effective keyer. The greenscreen image I used was a sample image from The Pixel Corps and I used one of my own images as the background.

Here is a screenshot of my setup with groups collapsed:

And here is one with all the nodes ungrouped:

I haven't tested it on any other green screen images or movies yet but any adjustments can be made in the channel key node. Another think I have to point out is that the tracking markers have not been keyed out. A separate key or garbage matte could take care of those.

I'm going to have nightmares all darned night long.

Which means I shall not be alone, I will SHARE. DPUD is right, all variants are horrifying. You rub your eyes, you scratch them, you grind sand into them, and even bleach doesn't work... the vision is still there... burned

Name: iShares CDN Composite Index Fund ETF
Symbol: TSE:XIC

The S&P/TSX Composite Index closed above 15,000 today, fueled (no pun intended) mainly by soaring crude oil prices.

The S&P/TSX Composite Index measures the value of the largest stocks on the Toronto Stock Exchange based on market capitalization. This index acts as a benchmark, meaning that you can compare the return on your portfolio to how the market did overall. For example, if the equity portion of your portfolio increased by 11% last year, and the TSX increased only 9%, then you outperformed the market. However, if your portfolio increased less than the market, then you would have been better off buying a mutual fund that simply matched the performance of the TSX. Now, I’m not a huge fan of mutual funds so I’m going to recommend an ETF that will do the job just as well if not better.

Barclays’ iShares CDN Composite Index Fund ETF (XIC) invests in shares of companies that make up the S&P/TSX Capped Composite Index. As with all ETFs, they can be traded on a stock exchange just like any other stock. The minor difference in ‘performance’ between the actual index and the ETF is mainly due to transaction costs and management fees – which are only 0.25%.

Buying an index fund ETF is a passive style of investing that is easy and cost-effective. I bought some shares of XIC at the beginning of May (less than 3 weeks ago) to, ironically, add some stability to my portfolio, and since then it’s soared 6%. Now before you accuse me of pumping a stock, keep in mind that the Index is heavily weighted towards energy and financials. Even though oil prices are breaking new records every day, they are still very volatile. If oil takes a nosedive next week, the Index with certainly follow. I’m also not convinced the banks are finished dealing with the U.S. sub-prime mortgage meltdown, not to mention the pending recession that will undoubtedly affect us here in Canada. I expect the Index to generate positive returns over the course of a year, but it’s going to be a bumpy ride.

By definition, it is impossible to outperform the market with an index fund, but if you want to ensure that a portion of your portfolio performs just as well as the market, then XIC is definitely worth looking into.
