i met him about... a year ago... and the kid just had me, man.

he wasn't afraid to just act a fool, and he could hold a conversation. we talked about everything and laughed about more... i did my bjork impression and he did his transvestite voice... he has the CUTEST girlfriend and the biggest appetite. plus he is a pretty talented drummer boy. AND he loves cats...

he also holds the record for the most hula-hoops simulated on the wii fit.

i started this blog, in part, because of his interest in my cleanse and my bowel movements. in fact, our friendship is based on conversations about crap... you know poop and sometimes the lack of.

i feel like i am watching a brother leave the nest... grow up and explore... i must say that i am very proud of him...

i have learned from his friendship and i really appreciate that. i hope he has learned from me.

The Point of the game is a Lion driving a JEEP to save his Animal Friends and once you finish the level It say's YOU WIN! and i think thats the whole game,But there's a Cool feature added also you can make your own Game Level of the game... It's pretty simple and a little cool but the game is pretty Boring :P

Steelers 26 - Jaguars 21

It's about time we beat the Jags, it's been since December 5th, 2004, Roethlisberger's rookie year, that we defeated the Jags 17-16. We are winning ugly...but we are winning. Albeit our last 3 wins have come by a combined total of 12 points. What a GREAT time to have a bye.

Inspite of our insistance on trying to give this game away, we came out on top. A little offense and some much improved playcalling covered over a multitude of sins. When the game stood at 17-14 I felt as if it easily could have been 17-0. In fact the game never felt as close as the score indicated. It's pointless to play the "what if" game, but had we not committed three egregious errors (Pick 6, Pass Interference, Unecessary Roughness) this game would have been as dominating of a win as the Steelers have had since probably Baltimore last year. The stats were nearly as lopsided (though the 3rd quarter brought about some balance) as the game felt, in spite of the score. Either way, I'll ALWAYS take a huge AFC road win, with especially considering the injuries.

Random thoughts from throughout the game...

The audible cheers (for the Steelers) on the Unecessary Roughness penalty 4 seconds into the game AGAINST the home team were quite impressive. Are there any Jaguars fans outside of Jacksonville? I literally know ONE...ONE Jaguars fan, and he lives in Jacksonville. (I'm certain I'm in the minority by knowing even one) I think he picked them when he was in Jr High when they became a team because they wore teal. Teal was cool. Was. (If you are a Jaguars fan and you stumbled across this blog, for the love of your team make yourself known, I doubt your true existence)

3 things...I Hate Rashean Mathis...Santonio Holmes slipped (contrary to what John and Al said at the time) and I HATE Rashean Mathis. (Really 2 things: one repeated twice for emphasis)

Can anyone answer why we struggle SO MUCH with 3rd and long? It's been a mystery dating back to the Chad Scott days of blown 3rd and longs. We can handle 3rd and short but 3rd in long is the bane of our existence.

It's amazing how some short passes, swing passes and getting the TE involved makes us look like a brand new offense.

Wondering what goes on in the mind of John Madden when he obviously put some pregame thought into making David Garrard calf muscle comments at some point in the telecast. They had still pics prepped!

I didn't agree with the roughing the passer penalty on Harrison. He just release as Harrison was laying into DG.

Nate Washington's penalty was inexcusable, especially at such a critical time in the game, but there was a Jags coach making a big deal about how Washington didn't catch the ball. Nate appeared to simply (probably smugly) show him the ball.

The endzone paint is silly. The way it's painted makes it look like they ran out of paint or something. Fill up the whole endzone or don't bother at all.

What a great stat that NBC showed: now has 15 game winning drives in the 4th Quarter/OT since 2004 (most in the NFL).

What a great and underrated performance by Mewelde Moore. I knew he'd be a good fit.

The NBC telecast had a nice bookend to their coverage as Steelers fans made themselves heard again with cheers of victory (Here We Go Steelers...Here We Go!)

Y con esta sencilla y a la vez profunda canción de uno de mis cantaurores favoritos, Carlos Varela, me despido. Fueron dos meses y medio de locura, arrebato, alegrías, tristezas, incertidumbres, descubrimientos, encontronazos, conquistas, derrotas y muchísimas sensaciones más. Fue una interesante y enriquecedora experiencia saber que personas ajenas, distantes y desconocidas se estremecieron con lo que escribí.

Si en algún momento le hice la vida un poquito más feliz a alguien, enhorabuena; si, por el contrario, removí espinas y heridas, lo siento, mi más sincero perdón. De cualquir manera, un abrazo, un abrazo desde donde nacen estas palabras que no dicen nada y al mismo tiempo lo dicen todo...

Me marcho con mi música y mi verdad a otra parte, mi verdad que no dice nada pero al mismo tiempo lo esconde todo, como esta hoguera que no se apaga, como esta piedra que rodó rumbo al éxtasis y extravió la ruta de los abrazos soñados.

Saturdays in autumn on college campuses around the country mean one thing: football.

On game days in Provo, LaVell Edwards Stadium welcomes over 64,000 fans through its gates to cheer on the No. 8 Cougars.

However, this past Saturday, BYU players and coaches found themselves in a more domestic arena.

"For one of the first times since the beginning of the season, I did my own yard," coach Bronco Mendenhall said.

Many players heeded Mendenhall's advice to undertake some form of service during the bye week.

"There were some service opportunities that came up. There are always service opportunities," Mendenhall said. No word yet on whether the service opportunities included the coach's yard.

While the Cougars were resting, a rash of upsets in the Top 25 ruled the college football landscape. Players and coaches took notice, although for Mendenhall, it was only thanks to his wife.

"I watched games for the first time, which I kind of enjoy," Mendenhall said, also adding he enjoyed the parity and the upsets. "I rarely do that, but my wife now has become a fan and she wanted to watch."

Coaches hoped that the bye week would give players an opportunity to rest some nagging injuries and catch up or get ahead of schoolwork, considering upcoming weekday games like Utah State on Friday and TCU on Oct. 16.

Quarterback Max Hall and defensive lineman Jan Jorgenson took different approaches to enjoy their Saturday.

Jorgenson is a self-proclaimed "football junkie", taking in every football game possible.

"I've been raised on football, especially college football," he said. "Anytime my dad, my brother and I get excited to get together like we did this weekend, we watch a lot of it."

Jorgenson watched teams in front of BYU come up short, starting with former No. 1 USC loss in Corvallis, Ore. The upsets resulted in the Cougars being vaulted in to the Top 10 in the AP Top 2 5 and USA Today polls for the first time since 2001 and they didn't even have to play a game to do it.

Hall found himself in a wife-supported football ban over the weekend.

"I didn't watch any of the games on Saturday because I promised her I wouldn't," Hall said.

The BYU quarterback did, however, have a chance to take notice of the upsets over the weekend by catching some highlights.

"I think that is just the way that college football is now days," he said. "You can't get lackadaisical. Any given week no matter who you play ... you've got to be ready to play."

Normally used to picking up blitz packages on Saturdays, Hall found himself picking up another kind of package.

"My dog went to the bathroom all over the kitchen floor on Saturday, so I had to clean that up," he said Monday at a weekly press conference.

Now, the Cougars are eager to finish their preparations for Friday's game and clean up at Utah State.

"I found myself on Saturday, though, wishing that I was out on a football field," Jorgenson said.

Hall may have been thinking the same thing last weekend in the kitchen.

Made a few trips to the Fort to hang out with Kiki and cheered on the Rams as in true fashion:

Rocked a couple Bronc's game (3-0!!) J.C Saves!!!!

Celebrated Oktoberfest Denver style (ie. Coors Light as a sponsor...weak sauce)

Helped Watched my folk's move their company to their new building!

And, loved the fam:

I hate to say goodbye again, but last year went by so quickly that I am sure this will too. Plus, I know that more of you will be keen to visit me in Asia.  Europe is soooooo last year :)
