I couldn't recall the rest of the dream, but I'm guessing it was fun with Betty as my partner. She didn't approve of my peanut butter cups though? So not ugly betty-ish.

I think I might buy 4D tomorrow. People giving me money in my dreams? HELLO?

Aquí trato de explicar de manera rápida qué es una dimensión y cómo es que está aplicada a las cosas y finalmente, comentar la dimensión en la que vivimos.

¿Qué es una dimensión?

Una dimensión es una forma de medida, es una medición. La altura de una persona es una dimensión. El ancho de un río, también es una dimensión, la profundidad de un pozo es una dimensión. Por tanto, debe quedarnos claro que una dimensión es una forma de medir, no un mundo paralelo o una vida paralela o cualquier otra cosa que se nos pueda ocurrir o nos puedan platicar.

¿En qué dimensión vivimos?

Primero vamos a ir explicando desde la dimensión más básica hasta la más compleja que es donde vivimos. En la siguiente imágen, tenemos tan sólo un punto:

Este punto no tiene dimensión, no tiene un tamaño ni nada, por lo que es nada más eso un punto. Sin embargo, si ponemos varios puntos juntos, se crea una línea. Esta línea si tiene una dimensión, ésta será nuestra 1a dimensión:

Entonces, en realidad, cuando nos referimos a la 1a dimensión, se refiere a una sola de estas, es un largo, un alto, una longitud, etcétera. En la 1a dimensión, sólo existen líneas simples. De aquí, si tenemos una segunda línea formando un cuadro, estaremos llegando a la 2a dimensión:

En este caso, ya tendremos como se menciona, dos dimensiones, la longitud y la altura. En la 2a dimensión, viven todas las figuras geométricas "planas", porque a final de cuentas, se tiene una imagen de esa forma. De aquí, vamos a agregar una 3a dimensión, el fondo:

Aquí es donde llegan las formas como las percibimos en el mundo real. Porque todo objeto que vemos tiene tres dimensiones: altura, ancho, fondo; esto, a menos que veamos propiamente una imagen que nos hace pensar que está plana, en ese caso estaremos viendo algo en 1D o 2D o incluso un punto que no tiene dimension.

Cuando nos dicen que vamos a ver una película en 3D, es porque se percibe en la misma, que todas las cosas están presentes y al alcance de la mano. Esto se logra con una combinación de colores que hace que las cosas se vean como si tuvieran un fondo.

Ok, ya sabemos que las cosas que vemos pueden estar desde 3D hasta no tener una dimensión como lo es un punto, pero nuevamente, ¿en qué dimensión vivimos? Aquí, tenemos que agregar una dimensión más: El Tiempo. Esto nos lleva a la 4a Dimensión:

¿Cómo es esto? ¿Cómo que vivimos en la 4a dimensión? Pues si, es cierto, vivimos en la 4a dimensión, porque estamos regidos por el tiempo. Somos objetos en 3D que se mueven a través del tiempo. En este momento, mientras lees este artículo, estás sentado frente a la computadora, pero hace algunos minutos u horas, no lo estabas, tal vez, estabas en el baño, o comiendo, o jugando, o lo que sea.

Así, poniéndome de ejemplo, el objeto en 3D llamado Orlando, en este momento, está redactando un artículo en el Wordpress, pero hace aproximadamente 4horas, el mismo objeto, no estaba aquí, se encontraba durmiendo en su casa. En ese momento hace 4horas, el objeto Orlando no estaba frente a la computadora. Si nos movemos a través del tiempo hacia el futuro 4horas, ya no encontramos al objeto Orlando en su cama, ya está frente a la computadora redactando un artículo frente a la computadora.

Esto aplica para todas las cosas y seres. Si retroceden ustedes en el tiempo la cantidad de años de su edad, se encontrarán en el vientre materno a punto de salir al mundo. Si a partir de ese momento, avanzan el tiempo, se encontrarán con que ya estaban en el kinder jugando con sus amiguitos, tiempo después, ya estaban en la secundaria, etcétera. Somos objetos que en 3D que se mueven a través del tiempo. Con esto llegamos a la respuesta final. ¡Vivimos en la 4a dimensión!

Sobre esto, aplican todavía más cosas, los universos paralelos, la teoría de cuerdas, los agujeros negros, etcétera, pues dan nuevas perspectivas al lugar en el que realmente vivimos, pero quiero adentrarme tanto en eso. Wunderlich's "Ever After Masquerade Gown" has some very lovely detailing and comes also with a sheer overskirt, shoulder poufs, and wings not shown here. (Remember the gown on Drew Barrymore in the movie Ever After? This is a reproduction.) I didn't care for the system shoes so I wore Bare Rose's "Crystal Ageha" glass slippers. Also wearing Hair by booN, Ears by Illusions, Skin by Gala Phoenix, Eyes by 4D, and my little friend is an American Crow from Grendel's Children. Wunderlich's also makes lots of other great period costume.

Sunday, I was having dinner at Crystal Jade and this was what that happened at the table beside us.

I was having Xiao Long Bao, and there was some soup in it.

We: "Yeah, we need to suck the top part. The soup the soup."

Angmos: ????? WTF Why is there soup in that ball-y shaped thing? We need to suck it?????

They were super confused. All they were having were Fried Rice and some chicken which they ate it as though it was KFC.

A bowl of Cheng Teng (a chinese dessert) was served.

So this was what I heard, all of them in BRITISH ACCENT.

I think this is some kind of soup.

No. Maybe it is some type of dessert.

You can have it.

I didn't order this.

They were pushing that bowl of dessert towards each other, in a very polite manner. The lady was refusing and seriously rejecting that "soup" 100%. Yet, she said very politely to her husband "You can have it" (when she actually means deep inside "WTF is this shit, f*** la take la take la, I don't want it"

I don't know how to explain the whole senario but it was super hilarious.

Male angmoh trying the "soup" like it was some poison and finally said "hmmmm.. it's sweet, I think it's some kind of dessert."

Well it seems canon might go one better on nikon by releasing a DSLR with higher  resolution video.  This info comes from a remark made in the RED camera user forum by the head of that company. One could assume Mr. Jannard is probably in a better position than the internet rumor mongers to know what his competition is doing.  The new canon is supposedly capable of 1080p (1920×1080 non interlaced video) with no frame rate mentioned whereas the Nikon D90 gives you 720p (1280x720 non-interlaced 24 FPS).  My cheap ass monitor has a 1920x1200 resolution so why would I get a D90 when the canon could fill my screen. One reason not to buy anything is that darn RED CAMERA COMPANY.  Yesterday and 8:39 P.M. mr. Jannard  posted this

We believe, and are developing for late 2009, a replacement for DSLRs. Currently, we call it a DSMC (Digital Still & Motion Camera).

While (insert code name) is not a replacement for Epic or Scarlet, it is strategically targeted at the DSLR space. Aside from all the interesting canon info, DSMC stuff and this enigmatic quote(our customers already know what the future will bring. They are just afraid to wish for it for fear of disappointment) Mr. Jannard says wait till january for more information.  I don't want to wait.  However it was reading about the scarlet that got me interested in the whole DSLR video(DSMC) deal. So I guess I'm hooked.  However If the Video capable canon is full frame and less then 2,000 dollars I don't know if I can wait.
