Visto che state leggendo una guida per installare kde 4.1 immagino sappiate cos'e', quindi non mi dilungo troppo a spiegarlo; dico solo per la cronoca che e' un ambiente desktop dal look moderno ed elegante, con effetti di traslucenza, compositing e supporto dei widget nativi. Sono presenti insomma tutti gli ultimi ritrovati in fatto di ambiente desktop, con un look accattivante.

Di guide per installarlo ce ne sono gia' a bizzeffe, quindi probabilmente di quello che sto scrivendo non se ne sentiva il bisogno; ma, dal momento che vorrei seguire su questo blog i progressi di kde 4, mi sembra giusto partire dall'inizio spiegandone l'installazione!^_^

Dopo la mezza delusione della versione 4.0, da molti considerata troppo instabile per essere rilasciata al pubblico, sembra che questa 4.1 stia riscuotendo un buon successo; se ne parla come di un software stabile e molto migliorato anche se ancora acerbo e incompleto di alcune importanti funzionalita' per l'uso di tutti i giorni.

Insomma stanco di sbavare sui tanti screenshot che circolano in rete, raffiguranti bellissimi desktop kde 4.1, mi sono convinto ad installarlo e scoprire da solo a che punto e' la sua stabilita'/usabilita'!

In questo mi e' stato di grande aiuto il repository ( backport di kde 4.1 per Lenny ):

deb http://kde4.debian.net/ lenny main

che riduce tutta l'installazione ad un comando... ma andiamo con ordine.

Questo repository e' valido per debian testing (Lenny) 32 bit o amd64, mentre chi ha Sid deve installare dal repo experimental. Un repository e' un archivio che contiene dei pacchetti: puo' essere un archivio locale (un cd-rom) o remoto (un server, come in questo caso) e viene amichevolmente chiamato "repo".

Per utilizzare un repo dobbiamo aggiungere il suo indirizzo nel file /etc/apt/sources.list per informare il sistema della sua esistenza; questo lo si puo' fare con il comando, da root:

gedit /etc/apt/sources.list        per chi usa gnome

kate /etc/apt/sources.list       per chi usa kde 3

Si aprira' un file nell'editor di testo del vostro ambiente desktop: aggiungete a fine file la riga deb http://kde4.debian.net/ lenny main salvate e chiudete.

Per aggiornare i pacchetti "conosciuti" dal sistema includendo quelli del repo appena aggiunto, diamo il comando da root:

apt-get update

Il piu' e' fatto, adesso l'installazione si riduce a un comando; prima pero' dobbiamo decire se fare una:

installazione minimale: solo i pacchetti necessari al funzionamento di kde 4.1, quindi niente programmi per riprodurre musica, film, chattare, navigare. Tenete pero' presente che potete utilizzare i programmi di gnome e kde 3.X da kde 4.1 finche' non installate (se vi va'!) un programma per kde 4.1 atto allo scopo.

installazione full: tutto quello che riguarda kde 4.1 presente nel repo; mega e mega di software tra cui programmi che non saprete nemmeno di avere e altri che saprete di avere ma non saprete a cosa servono... La sagra dello spreco di spazio su hard disk... (ok sto esagerando! ^_^)

Io, non so se si e' capito, sono un fissato delle installazioni minimali. Se volete un'installazione minimale ma siete preoccupati di non riuscire ad integrarla con altri pacchetti, sappiate che a questa guida ne seguira' un'altra intitolata appunto "Integrare un'installazione minimale di kde 4.1" (la mia fantasia nei titoli galoppa... :-|). Fatta la vostra scelta, date da root:

apt-get install kde4-minimal kde-l10n-it per l'installazione minimale

apt-get install kde4 kde4-l10n-it    per l'installazione full

Adesso avete kde 4.1 installato sul vostro sistema. Per avviarlo dobbiamo riavviare il server X; prima di dirvi come farlo, sappiate che una volta riavviato vi ritroverete alla schermata di login, ovvero: TUTTO QUELLO CHE NON SALVATE PRIMA DI RIAVVIARE IL SERVER X ANDRA' PERSO.

Dopo aver salvato tutto quello che c'e' da salvare, riavviamo X premendo contemporaneamente i bottoni <CTRL> <ALT> <BACKSPACE> ed eccoci alla schermata di login:

Il bottone Sessione, cerchiato in giallo, e' quello che dovete cliccare; nel menu che si apre selezionate KDE:

Vi verra' chiesto se volete rendere la sessione predefinita: visto che e' il primo avvio di KDE 4.1, consiglio di no perche' non potete ancora sapere come si comportera'.

Effettuate il login e spalancate gli occhi: :D

So as a consolation to the friend who issued the challenge (who just had a birthday, so I need to do something special), I'm going to try my Nick Hornby High Fidelity best to make a Top Ten Songs I'm Obsessed With Right This Minute--the songs that, for whatever reason, I just can't stop listening to this week (and I'm only giving the downloads to her, so the rest of you will have to go out and find these gems on your own).

10.  "Impossible Germany"--Wilco (Album: Sky Blue Sky) 

I have no idea why I love this song so much. All I know is that when I listen to it, I'm in a good mood. And some days, that's really all I need to know. But I also know that this song has some amazing guitar work, and some days, that's all I really need to know as well.

I'm a relative late-comer to Wilco, although I've been aware of them since they were formed in the mid-'90s from the ashes of Uncle Tupelo. And frontman Jeff Tweedy and I grew up in towns that are an hour apart and have a teeny-tiny, so-infinitesimally-small-that-it-doesn't-really-exist connection to each other that's a long story for another post. Anyway, Wilco = awesome, and I'm glad I finally came around to them.

9.    "Euro-Trash Girl"--Cracker (Album: Kerosene Hat)

I'd forgotten that this song even existed until a friend (the other friend who was dared to put together a Top Ten of All Time list, actually) reminded me. I think I heard this song on the radio so much in 1993 that once its popularity faded away, my memories of it faded as well. But I probably appreciate "Euro-Trash Girl" even more now than I did then. I don't know if that says something about the song or something about me.

"Euro-Trash Girl", about what sounds like the craziest European backpacking trip ever, is just awesome from start to finish. Personal highlights for me are the guitar solo (listen at about 5:40) and the lines "Called my mom from a pay phone/Said I'm down to my last/She said "I sent you to college"/"Now go call your dad." Just terrific.

8.   "All I Need"--Radiohead (album: In Rainbows)

I've waxed enthusiastic about In Rainbows before, and I still can't stop listening to it. In fact, it's nearly impossible for me to choose a favorite song from this disk because it's practically flawless from start to finish. But today, "All I Need" is the winner. Today. Tomorrow, something else perhaps. 

"All I Need" is one of those songs that I put in the category of "Songs You Think Are Gonna Be Love Songs But Turn Out to Be Something Very, Very Different" (the two best songs in this category being The Police's "Every Breath You Take" and Elvis Costello's "I Want You"). "All I Need" is a beautifully sad song that builds to an even more beautiful, crashing climax. And I'm a sucker for a beautiful, crashing climax.

7.    "Train in Vain"--The Clash (album: London Calling)

Perhaps one of the most upbeat songs ever written about getting dissed by someone you love, "Train in Vain" is one of the songs on this list that would probably make my all-time Top Ten list. I've loved this song since I was a kid, and I love it so much that I even gave it a role in my first-novel-that-will-probably-never-exist-anywhere-other-than-my-computer's-hard-drive.

One thing in particular that I love about this song is that the drum beat actually sounds like a train chugging down the tracks, and I just think that's cool. And the drum track is the backing loop to another song I was obsessed with for a time--Garbage's "Stupid Girl" (a song I was obsessed with for reasons that should be obvious, given the title). And I think that's cool, too.

6.   "On Your Side"--Pete Yorn (album: musicforthemorningafter)

For me, trying to choose a favorite Pete Yorn song is like trying to choose between my favorite kinds of ice cream--it just sort of depends on what I'm in the mood for at the time. But "On Your Side" is a song I always come back to.

Some songs evoke memories or landscapes, and "On Your Side" always evokes clouds and rain for me because the first time I heard this song was on a rainy day. I can listen to this song when the sun is out, but somehow the song doesn't have the same effect on me (and I can listen to the live version of this song at almost any time and not be moved in quite the same way as I am when I hear the recorded version-weird).

5.    "Two Step"--Dave Matthews Band w/Tim Reynolds and Bela Fleck (Worcester's Centrum Center, Worcester, MA, December 7, 1998)

Please--you knew I wasn't going to get through this list without including at least a few DMB songs, right?

If I showed up at a DMB show and found out that they would be playing the same song over and over for three hours, I would vote for "Two Step." And if I could go back in time to witness one version of this song, I would vote for this version.

This "Two Step" is so good I hardly know where to start. I love the fact that the mix is such that you can hear the crowd singing along. And a definite highlight of this sixteen-minute-plus behemoth is the guitar/banjo duel between Tim Reynolds and Bela Fleck that begins at about the 7:30 mark.

But if you're in a rush and can't listen to the entire song, then listen to about the last six minutes or so. I can't even begin to know how to describe them--they just fall into that category of ineffable music moments that have to be experienced to be understood. I'll just say that the first time I listened to this version of "Two Step," I thought those last six minutes were going to take my head clean off, they're that good. And then at the end, Dave just calmly says "Thank you very much" as if he has no idea that he and his band and his guests have just totally fucked everyone up.

4.    "The Grudge"--Tool (album: Lateralus)

Man, I love me some Tool. And I want to emphasize that "The Grudge" is currently my favorite Tool song, which is sort of like saying that "My second child is currently my favorite child." Because all of Tool's angry little children are good, but the "The Grudge" is the one that's showing up the most on my iPod at the present moment.

This song, which opens Lateralus, is so musically and lyrically phenomenal that most of the time I forget that there are twelve other songs on this album (And what songs! "Schism." "Parabola." "Ticks and Leeches." This album is just a freaking beast.). And if you've ever held a grudge against someone, the kind of grudge that slowly eats you alive, you'll be convinced that Maynard James Keenan is looking into your soul.

3.    "It's a Lie"--Fiction Plane (album: Left Side of the Brain)

Fiction Plane is one of those bands that was pretty much screwed from the beginning, because even though they started out as a four-piece band, they eventually evolved into a three-piece and lead singer/guitarist Joe Sumner assumed the role of lead singer/bassist. While their mere evolution wouldn't be enough in and of itself to doom a band, in this case, Joe Sumner is the son of Gordon Sumner, aka Sting, who was also the lead singer/bassist of a little band that you may have heard of. I don't know if Joe's familial connections are what's keeping Fiction Plane from reaching critical mass or not, but I'm guessing that some people can't get past the relationship. Plus, Joe Sumner happens to look and sound a lot like Sting (Some people don't agree with me on this. These people are wrong.), which probably doesn't help matters much.

I'll be honest--part of the reason I like "It's a Lie" is that it's a bit filthy. Sample lyrics: "Wish I could tell you I'm a better guy/That love is all around/And only real men cry/But all I wanna do is jump your bones/Slam dance all night to the music of your moans. So we're not exactly in "Every Breath You Take" territory here. Actually, I can think of a few relationships I had back in the '90s that would have gone a lot better had the guys in question gotten the previous sentiments out on the table right when we first met--stories that are perhaps best left for another time.

And whether or not he sounds like Sting, I have to admire Joe Sumner's use of "jump your bones" in a song released in 2007. I don't think I've heard that phrase since college, and I'm assuming all parties involved were very, very drunk at the time. 

2.    "American Baby Intro"--Dave Matthews Band (Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, Charlotte, NC, September 19, 2007)

I hate to be one of those DMB fans who always says stuff like "Dude, you so had to be there to appreciate this version of the song." But, Dude, you kind of had to be there to appreciate this version of "American Baby Intro." And I was.

"American Baby Intro" is a neat little summation of what people both like and hate about DMB. The song has almost no lyrics (She said a hundred times/She said a thousand times/Yeah...) and is rarely followed live by the song that it is an introduction to. And this particular version of the song was the longest ever played at that time (nearly twelve minutes), while the version of the song on Stand Up clocks in at just over two minutes--so, yes, they jammed it out to nearly six times its original length. The song, on its face, is so worthless that even some of the DMB hardcore can't stand to hear it live.

But on this particular night in Charlotte, "ABI" was the first song of the encore to one of the best concerts I'd ever seen, hands down. I have a theory that if early on in the show, you can see Dave, Boyd, and Carter looking at each other like they want to rip each other to shreds, then you're in for an intense DMB experience. And on this night, the three of them kept exchanging looks that clearly said, to me, anyway, "Bring it, motherfucker." The show was wall-to-wall intense, with a setlist to match (seriously, add in "#41" and "Grey Street" and I probably would have peed myself right there in front of everyone). By the time "ABI" came around, the band was on fire and so was the crowd.

This "ABI" rises and then slows, and then rises and slows again (thus making it the perfect workout song--I'm just saying). The first rise culminates in a heavy metal scream from Dave (at about 3:27) that was truly one of the most bizarre things I'd ever seen (his mouth was open so wide that I thought his jaw was going to unhinge and then swing around and swallow the rest of his head--that's the only way I know how to describe it). And by the time the second rise climaxed, I felt as though my feet had left the ground several times, carried on the swirl of the music. This occasion was the only time that I can recall feeling literally lifted by music, and I was exhausted by the end of the song. The only thing that even comes close to ruining this version of "ABI" for me is the guy on the tape who keeps yelling "#41!" the whole time. I truly hope someone punched him in the face, because that's what I would have done had he been sitting anywhere in my vicinity.

So I fully expect that almost no one will get my love for this version of this particular song unless they were in Charlotte that night (and the friend who dared me to put together my all-time Top Ten was, so the song has nice memories on another level as well). I can only hope my description has done the atmosphere that night just a little bit of justice.

1.    "Loving Wings"--Dave Matthews Band (Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga, NY, August 27, 2003)

This song is really two songs in one. The first four minutes is a beautiful little love song with a hypnotic little guitar part repeating in the background. The next five minutes, however, build into an amazing instrumental jam featuring drummer Carter Beauford and late saxophonist LeRoi Moore at their absolute best (and I can't help but feel a little pain when hearing this song, knowing that Roi will never play it again). "Loving Wings" is one of those songs that makes me appreciate the amazing level of musicianship in this band.

Unfortunately, this song has never been recorded, so the only versions are from live shows. Which means that no version of this song exists that doesn't have thousands of drunk people in the background screaming "Wooo!" and "I love you, Dave!"  Try to block that out and enjoy the ride that is "Loving Wings."

Bonus Track (because every good playlist deserves a bonus track): "Spilt Needles"--The Shins (album:Wincing the Night Away)

This song has many memorable lines, but my favorites are: It's like I'm perched on the the handlebars/Of a blind man's bike. I swear I feel this way at least once a day, but no one has ever quite put that feeling into words so eloquently.

sistema de troca simbolica que tive o prazer de ver acontecendo entre
o Daniel e as pessoas queridas que conhecemos em Paris. Cada Moitara
permitiu um contato humano especial, uma historia bonita que ficara
registrada com carinho nao so na memoria mas tambem como parte deste
projeto que vive e se alastra aos poucos pelo mundo.

Senti pena pelo fato de que esta historia deixara de acontecer por
aqui com a partida do Daniel. Muitas pessoas queridas nao estavam por
aqui por conta das ferias, gostaria que elas entrassem nessa
historia… Alem do mais, pude ver que o Moitara é um elemento meio
magico que tem a capacidade de estabelecer um elo todo especial entre
as pessoas. Nessas terras frias, distantes isso é tao dificil de
criar. Enfim… seria bom se a magia pudesse continuar…

"No dia 30 de outubro, nós já estaremos pagando 2700 Bolsas Florestas no Estado, dentro das nossas Unidades de Conservação e até dezembro a meta de 4000 mil Bolsas Florestas serão alcançadas pela Fundação Amazonas Sustentável, portanto isso é algo realmente animador, o que mostra que nós estamos num caminho positivo", disse.

Entre os contemplados estão os moradores da Região do Juma em virtude de uma parceria do Governo do Amazonas, por meio da Fundação Amazonas Sustentável, com a Rede de Hotéis Marriott, assinada no dia 7 de abril. O primeiro resultado da parceria é a construção de uma escola, prevista para inaugurar em outubro.

"É a valoração dos serviços ambientais da nossa floresta conservada se transformando em monetização, em benefícios concretos para a população local. Vamos levar àquele povo nova escola, novos conceitos na área de saúde, novos conceitos na área comunitária, o que para nós é uma demonstração de resultados concretos da nossa Fundação Amazonas Sustentável", afirmou Braga.

A Reserva de Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Juma, em Novo Aripuanã, receberá US$ 2 milhões em investimentos ao longo dos próximos quatro anos, como resultado do acordo histórico assinado em Washington (EUA), entre o diretor geral da FAS, Virgilio Viana; o governador do Amazonas, Eduardo Braga e o presidente da Rede Marriot, Bill Marriot.

O programa Bolsa Floresta é um programa do Governo do Amazonas lançado em Manaus, em junho de 2007, para valorizar e compensar as populações tradicionais e indígenas do Estado, pelo seu papel na conservação das florestas, rios, lagos e igarapés. Além de ser o pioneiro no país a efetuar o pagamento de serviços ambientais feito diretamente para as comunidades que residem nas Unidades de Conservação do Estado. Fiat 127 este un alt model apreciat de europeni. In 1972, modelul inlocuitor al seriei 850, a obtinut premiul Car of the Year. Punto este rodul colaborarii dintre Fiat si Giorgetto Giugiaro si, curios, intocmai stopurile verticale pastrate pana in 2008 pe gama Punto nu au facut parte din proiectul initial fiind adaugate de Fiat inainte de inceperea productiei.

Duetul Bravo/Brava a fost laureat COTY in 1996 si a reprezentat prima incercare a unui constructor de clasa compacta de a separa clientela feminina de cea masculina prin doua modele complet diferite. Numele Bravo/Brava au fost modificate in functie de specificul pietei pe care masinile erau comercializate. Daca Brava fost utilizat si in SUA cu modelul Fiat 131, Bravo se vindea in Japonia sub numele de Bravissimo.

In 2004, Fiat Panda a marcat o noua victorie pentru Fiat. Daca primul model lansat in 1980 a obtinut locul secund la COTY, generatia a doua a modelului a atras atentia juriului fiind premiata cu prestigiosul trofeu. In prezent Panda joaca un rol important in strategia Fiat, fiind declinat in variante 4x4, Sport sau decapotabile, aflate in productia de serie sau in stadiul de concepte.

2008 este fara indoiala anul Fiat. Modelul Nuova 500, remake-ul icon car-ului anilor 50 a fost desemnat Car of the Year in Europa la doar un an de existenta pe piata. Modelul a fost ales cu 385 de voturi acumulate din partea celor 58 de jurnalisti proveniti din 22 de tari.

#36 -- Lyndon B. Johnson.  LBJ made his career in Congress.  First he was a Representative, then a Senator.  I'm inclined, however, to give him credit for executive experience because for eight years, he was either the Minority Leader or Majority Leader in the Senate.  Hmmm.  You know, I'm guessing Sarah Palin wouldn't consider Nancy Pelosi to have 'executive experience' because even though she's leading the Senate, she's still 'just' a legislator.  So we'll say LBJ doesn't have executive experience.  Now was he a good president?  Again, I'm torn.  From everything I've read about him, he was a complete dick.  I heard a story once where he had to relieve himself while outside with his Secret Service agents, so he walked over and started pissing on one of their legs.  The agent said, "Mr. President, you're urinating on me" and LBJ replied, "I know I am."   Nice!   Then there's also the whole issue of the Vietnam War and the 58,000  American soldiers who died in the conflict, not to mention the countless Vietnamese, estimated to be in the millions.  On the other side of the coin, though, he did some phenomenal things domestically, many a continuation and building upon FDR's New Deal programs through LBJ's "Great Society" initiatives.  My knee-jerk reaction is to say he wasn't a good president because of the Vietnam War, but further contemplation has my respect for his domestic accomplishments dominating.  So... EE: no; Good: yes.

#37 - Richard Nixon.  Nixon's political experience was, like Johnson, garnered mostly in Congress.  Nixon is another of those conundrum presidents.  His domestic and foreign policies and accomplishments were consistently pretty awesome.  But then there's that whole crazy paranoid Watergate stuff.  My inclination is to say as a president he was pretty great, but as a man he was pretty messed up... so that he accomplished all he did in spite of his own personal faults is more astounding.  So, I'm going to say.... EE: no; good: yes.

#38 - Gerald Ford.  Ford's political career was again mostly in Congress.  Notably, he was a member of the Warren Commission that investigated the Kennedy assassination.  Ford was viewed as a decent, noble man that brought honor back to the White House after the Watergate scandal.  Beyond that, however, his presidency was mediocre.  He flip-flopped on a number of major issues, and he had a hard time coming up with any solution at all to other issues, such as the country's economic downturn.  So... EE: no; Good: no.

#39 - Jimmy Carter.  Carter was the governor of Georgia (the state, not The Republic Of) before becoming president.  He also ran his family's peanut business for a time and was quite successful.  Carter was nearly iconic in his ability to help negotiate peace between other countries (a role emulated by every president since) but in most other areas, his presidency was lacking.  He has had an exemplary and distinguished post-presidency and has since won the Nobel Peace Prize, but his presidency in and of itself was mostly a bust.  So... EE: yes; Good: no.

#40 - Ronald Reagan.  Reagan was governor of California before becoming president.  He also served as president of the Screen Actors Guild.  I don't personally agree with a lot of Reagan's politics and stances, but there's no denying he was a charismatic leader who was well-loved and maintained good relationships with a number of world leaders, as well as helping to bring about the end of the Cold War.  His presidency was tainted with a few issues, such as the Iran-Contra affair and his "Reaganomics" ballooning the national debt, overall I think we can say he was a pretty decent president.  So... EE: yes; Good: yes.

#41 - George H. W. Bush.  Bush 41 started his own oil company.  He served as the US Ambassador to the UN, and Director of the CIA.  I'll give him executive experience credit for these items off his resume, but overall his experiences in both domestic and foreign affair roles may make him one of the most qualified presidents ever elected.  I think overall his presidency was a success.  He had moderate success with policies domestically, and resoundingly great successes in foreign affairs.  I think he mostly failed to gain reelection because of breaking his "no new taxes" promise and then running a lackluster reelection campaign.  So... EE: yes; Good: yes.

#42:  Bill Clinton.  Clinton spent nearly 12 years as the governor of Arkansas.  Clinton's a rough one for me.  I really, really like him.  I think he's a righteous dude.  But I'm really undecided right now.  He had some great successes under his watch -- a strong economy, federal budget surpluses, achievements in economic globalization, interceding in the Balkans, and intervening in the potential currency collapses in Mexico and Asia.  But then there's the stuff he didn't do... health care, intervening in the Rwandan genocide, and the pesky question of whether or not he had sexual relations with that woman and all the hoopla and baggage and general disgrace that came with impeachment, in addition to the question of what he could have accomplished but didn't while he was busy dealing with the impeachment proceedings.  I'm inclined to give him the thumbs up... after all, I gave Nixon props.  So... EE: yes; Good: yes.

#43 - George W. Bush.  Bush 43 was governor of Texas, and before that founded and served as chairman of an oil company, and was also a managing partner of the Texas Rangers baseball team.  I know there are people that love him, but there is no way in hell I'm saying GWB has been a good president.  I think the Iraq war was completely unfounded, I completely disagree with the Bush Doctrine of preemptive striking a country who we think might try to get us first, and I am appalled by the erosion of freedoms we as a people have faced under his watch.  I applaud his intentions with No Child Left Behind but fault him for failing to properly fund it.  And, seriously, I just don't see him as a very smart man.  So... EE: yes; good: no.

WHEW!!!  All done!  Now, on to compiling the results and seeing what we've got here.  Here comes the fun part.  Yay!!

Me and my mother,like sometimes we did and do,went for a walk in the park together.My mother has gone through alot because of me,but has never stopped loving me.Unlike others,who leave or loathe their parents for not accepting their orientation,my love for my mother is unconditional(until and unless she's not telling me that I should sacrifice anyone else for her...haha).
So, aswe were walking around in the park,we had a desultory talk in which she explained to me that I could tell her anything,since she's already been through so much because of me.I took this opportunity and explained to her that I might have attarction towards women and men both.At that time I wasnt sure if I was gay or bisexual.And also I told her that I was having doubts about Islam.She was,obiously,disappointed.And tried to overlook the reality.She explained that this feeling that I was having towards my own gender would go away and it should be just a platonic one.To establish her point she went on to tell me that in her class there used to be these girls who used to cry for teachers and loved them because they were their favourite.Her desperation to somehow turn be staright was palpable.But I wasnt going to,since I couldnt.
I gave her an immense amount of good research,over the time,in favour of homosexuality.I even tried to change her mind b introducing her to ijtihad(Islamic free reasoning) and that using it,Islam and Homosexuality could be reconciliated.But no! She wouldnt accept anything and turned her deaf ear to all my exlanation which I gave her every now and then.
Then one day I recieved the email that my brother had sent me from Glasgow to give me an elder brother's advise on how to be aware of those disgusting homosexuals,since I was moving to an all-boy's school from co-education.I took this opportunity to tell him the truth about my bisexuality,which he didnt like either.
Since then my whole family knows(maybe excluding one of my sisters,since she's married and wasnt there when all of this happened).One of my sister think I am gay and that there's no difference between bisexuals and gays and she even makes fun of my orientation and taunts me when we have a fight.
My whole family is homophobiac.And my mother think gays are hijras(eunuchs),thanks to the media,especially that Nadia Khan of the Nadia Khan Show,who is one hell of an extremist.
But I have decided.I have to stand for my orientation,even if it means leaving my family,although I'll be a zombie without their love and them.
Millions of people have gone through,are going through and will go through because of homophobia,misunderstanding of connotation of the owrd 'gay',and lack of education and tolerance.I have to be their voice.At this time anonymously ,maybe.But one day I'll have a name and a title which will be able to influence others.And I'll use it influence people and spread tolerance towards LGBT community,Hopefully....
And anyway, I have always been giving my voice to minority,like secularists and repressed religious minorities of Pakistan,so why not my own community.Even if it mean my own life,because its better that I get killed than be frightened to death by these intolerant Mullahs and stupid and idiotic taboos of our society.My freedom from my Pakistani society or even my life for the freedom of others means nothing less to me then what Koran and Bible mean to Muslims and Christians ,repectively.
The purpose to narrate my story here is not to scar you from coming out.But to encourage you.Even Hitler had his supporters.So be content with you orientation and stop worrying about what others will think,because if you'll lose them it'll be for your own betterment,since you'll find others,who'll be ready to accept your orientation as a part of you.
Its not the quantity but the quality of you family which matters.And sometimes its better to leave the family that created you to create a family yourself,for the liberation of others and yourself.But the choice is yours.I am always here to be your friend and advise you and help you.

O Encceja é destinado a brasileiros residentes no Brasil e no exterior e tem por objetivo possibilitar uma avaliação de competências e habilidades básicas de jovens e adultos que não tiveram acesso ou continuidade de estudos na idade própria.

O exame, que ocorre desde 2002, é aplicado anualmente e a adesão das redes de ensino é voluntária. As provas serão aplicadas nos dias 13 e 14 de dezembro. Países como Japão e Suíça também realizam o exame. Neste ano, as inscrições para o Encceja serão no período de 6 a 31 de outubro.

Demi bla bla bla dan bla bla bla, maka saat ini saya tinggal di Bogor, sedangkan kantor berada di Jakarta. Perjalanan yang menempuh jarak sekitar 60 km pergi dan pulang (dengan jarak yang relatif sama juga tentunya) sudah menjadi santapan sehari-hari.

Dari rumah biasa start jam 5:50 dan berlabuh di halte "Delima" untuk menunggu bis hantaran kantor. Halte ini terletak di pertigaan Jalan "Baru" dan Jalan Pajajaran. Dinamakan "Delima" karena di salah satu pojok pertigaan terdapat perusahaan karoseri Delima Jaya, pembuat bermacam bodi kendaraan, dari kendaraan angkut biasa sampai kendaraan khusus penyemprot air.

Bis datang dari arah Yasmin, kemudian menuju ke arah Baranangsiang. Beberapa halte sebagai titik tunggu terdapat sepanjang lintasan ini.

Bis hantaran ini bernomor badan 41. Sebagian "penggemarnya" menyebutnya dengan Mercy 345. Mobil Mercy yang berpintu 3 dan berkapasitas 45 penumpang duduk. Suasana di dalamnya selalu hangat, karena memang bis tak ber-AC...

Waktu tempuh dari rumah hingga kantor cukup beragam. Semua tergantung kondisi di jalan. Hari Senin, bis sampai kantor sekitar jam 8:30 hingga 8:45. Hari Selasa - Jumat lain lagi. Relatif lebih cepat 15 menit saja. Waktu tempuh pulang juga beragam. Bis diijinkan keluar pintu pagar kantor pada jam 16:15, pas sekali dengan saatnya "macet bersama" di Ibu Kota. Saya sampai di rumah sekitar jam 18:00 hingga 18:30.

Banyak sekali kisah menarik selama dalam perjalanan dan juga dalam berinteraksi dengan penumpang setia bis hantaran ini. Saya coba menuliskan sejauh saya bisa dalam cerita-cerita di Sepanjang Jalan Bogor Jakarta.

Totusi, traficul a fost unul relativ lejer, chiar normal. Tramvaiul 41 a circulat, iar taficul nu a fost deloc oprit

E dimineata si totusi ma trezesc... nu-mi sta in fire, dar slujba mi-o cere, si avand in vedere ca o cere destul de rar...

Inceputul unei zile. Hmm... printre jaluzele se strecoara o lumina albastru inchis de parca mi-a lipit cineva indigo in geam... probabil copiaza cineva tema la desen tehnic pe geamu' meu de la etaju' 2. Cred ca e mult prea devreme pentru iesit afara. Cine naiba pleaca de la ora asta de acasa intr-o zi de weekend?
Ma ridic si cad din pat, tip si injur de cate-un lucru si ma indrept subit spre baie. Periuta de dinti iar lipseste si ma-ntreb daca nu cumva e mana extraterestilor ciorditori de periute... nu de alta, dar acum 2 zile au mai dat iama prin casa si spionii germani ascunzatori de papuci si sosete curate.

Deja m-am incaltat si timpul parca a stat in loc... asa ca ma descalt la loc si ma gandesc cum sa o mai frec sa treaca timpul... dar deja cele 4 minute in plus se risipesc pe ganditul propriu-zis, asa ca ma aplec iar... Ma gandesc ce face Tanta... probabil ca o raita scurta pe messenger sau un telefon ar pune capat rapid misterului, dar avand in vedere toanele "de dimineata" de care sufera, nu e un lucru intelept. Nu tre' sa te cheme Sherlock sa iti dai seama ca probabil inca doarme.
Afara e atat de trist incat ar plange si Rodica Popescu Bitanescu, si probabil asa va ramane... pana si masinile vin mai greu; probabil sa scoata in evidenta uratimea vremii si a lipsei de chef evidenta a soferului sa imi faca pe plac, sa ajung si eu macar la servici la timp.

Infamul 41. Uite-l cum vine... sa-l iau? sa nu-l iau? Baba de langa mine se uita la mine ca la felu' 15, ezit si.... tusti, sare-n fata mea de parca era la coada la paine intr-o Romanie ante-decembrista.
"Hoo fa ca cimitirul nu pleaca nicaieri, nu tre' sa te grabesti sa ajungi mai repede" spun eu cu o voce scazuta dar totusi destul de tare incat sa m-auda... nu ma aude, in schimb 2 tipe intre pubertate si adolescenta zambesc si dau din cap aprobator. Poate ca totusi va fi o zi buna.
Ma uit in stanga, ma uit in dreapta... nici urma de rechini alias Controlorii Iadului... o specie de pradatori care ataca pe neasteptate, cel mai probabil cand te astepti mai putin, imbracati in camasi albastre ieftine si cu o geanta de postas pe umar ce le da un aspect la fel de infricosator pentru blatisti si persoane nechizitionante de bilete, cum e FISC-ul pentru Gigi Becali.
Taxez bilet... cine stie de unde loveste aceasta unitate de gherila urbana de elita.
In tramvai observ o tipa roscata si din nou imi aduc aminte de Tanta... ma gandesc sa bag mana in buzunar dupa telefon, dar la aglomeratia asta as putea sa nimeresc buzunarul altcuiva... nu ca ar fi neaparat un lucru rau... poate decat daca ma prinde.
Baba care mi-a furat locul la usa e in fata mea si isi misca fundul, inainte si inapoi, de mine incercand sa isi aranjeze plasele... probabil daca era mai tanara cu, sa zicem, 50 DE ANI, poate ar fi fost extrem de erotic... in schimb i-am zis: "Mamaie daca vrei sa misti din fund ca o dansatoare exotica, sa stii ca la urmatoarea e un club de striptease". Iar n-aude... nu mai conteaza, blonda de 40 de ani din dreapta mea are un par atat de rebel incat ma mangaie pe cerul gurii si cred ca ii simt gustul samponului... incredibil, e cu aroma de fructe.
"Bine ca n-ai capu-n forma de mar ca eram tentat sa musc din el"...
"Poftim?"...
"ah ma scuzati, vorbeam cu gutuile pe care le am in plasa".
Cobor in sfarsit si ma uit in jos... sunt bagat intr-o balta de juma de metru si pantalonii mei sunt atat de uzi incat seamana cu o spalatorie de masini.

Plec la sedintza...

Printre discutii si stabiliri de termene vine vorba de un oarecare pescuit...
-"Bah da io nu stiu sa pescuiesc"
-"Lasa bah ca te-nvata Stela cu prietenele ei"
-"Cine mah?"
-"Lada asta de 24 de beri mah Ionele mah"
...
Presimt un pescuit foarte tulbure...

Dupa 3 ore...

Sfarsitul unei zile. Ajung acasa si fac ca blondele... arunc apa pe tastatura sa pot naviga pe net... intru pe Instant messenger si imi citesc portia zilnica de Offline Messages printre care si un banc genial:

Iliescu, Putin si Bush pun lumea la cale pe un iaht, pe lângã Malta. La o pauzã spritz Bush se laudã cu bodyguarzii: – John, un rechin la bãiatu! Sare John, în 10 min. urcã la bord cam zdrelit, da' cu un rechin în dintzi. Putin si el: – Ivan, doi rechini la tãticu'! Sare Ivan si dupa o juma' de orã se întoarce fãrã o mânã si-un picior da' cu doi rechini în dintzi.
